Hello! I am choosing the right option for myself. Leaning closer to M6, because I already have a keychron mechanical keyboard which is certainly not related to mice experience 😅 however, I have got a question to ask : is horizontal wheel significantly differs between MX3 and M6? Which one is better?
You could get much better battery life on the Keychron if you set your work profiles to a lower polling rate and your gaming profile at 1000hz. Unless you're doing work that requires responsiveness and accuracy or if you use a high refresh rate display you don't need anything more than 125hz Regarding the scroll noise, one of the biggest criticisms of the new G502X is how loud the wheel is when in the stepped mode. I don't know how is it compared to this one but it is definitely louder than the old G502. However I also think that there's a good reason for it. All the mice that have free scroll mode use an optical encoder for the wheel. These types of scroll wheels are much more reliable than what is more commonly used in the more popular lightweight mice nowadays like the Logitech Superlight or Razer's Viper and Deathadder models.
