I had a question: let’s say you sell a put option contract and aal stock goes to strike price and you’re assigned those 100 shares. my question : is : are you selling the contract or are you selling the 100 shares that you were assigned? Can u sell the 100 shares u we’re assigned that same day? If so that would be considered a day trade and u still keep premium

I just purchased 2 calls that expire in the beginning of September I paid like $39 for a call on Intel for $22 on September 6th and a call on AT&t for for $38 strike price of 19.50 also expires I think September something. I hope from what I learned in a few hours and make some money off of them.
Love your videos, been watcing for years! How do you get around Robinhood daily trader pattern on margin account. yet have a margin account vs cash account? On Cash account they don't allow spreads. If you do more than a few trades within a week they freeze your account. Please advise what your workaround is. Thanks!

selling puts on MSFT, the max loss of $39k is NOT if MSFT goes to zero its if MSFT is trading at less than $405 at expiration , you are then forced to buy 100 shares of MSFT at $405, or $45,000 the current price is $413 x 100 - $615 credit gives you the $39k loss
On the rolling strategy where he was rolling the covered call and the new strike was still in the money. Wouldn’t it be too risky? As we could be called. I know it is a covered call after all but I might not want to let go of the stock
The options trading coaching you mention below... Is that a mentoring program or is it just a set of more videos. I'd like to find someone who can shadow me (I think) and guide me a bit. The technicals I mostly understand. I'm on Tradingview and understand many of the indicators - MACD, RSI, etc. Entry and exit points aren't so hard for swing trading, from what I can see, as the indicators make it almost obvious when something is likely to happen. Almost. What's hard for me is finding the stocks to trade. Then as I'm going through the small list of stocks I've found so far, I have questions such as, "should I just wait for this one?" So many questions I can't list them here. Hence the mentor question.

holy crap, I cannot say enough about this, just started this two days ago, and already 1200.00 to the +. Amazing. I still haven't touched the puts, as I don't understand that part as well. On 8/13 SBUX went from $75 to $95. that was a huge bump from the low
