    I once lived in Lagos Nigeria before, and other places but Philippines is diverse and much more modern and beautiful.

      @@DORCASMorounmubo I know Abuja is a new city so it has wider roads, modern buildings and everything. On the other hand, Manila is an old city , I think the Philippines should also have a new capital like Abuja.

      @@DORCASMorounmubo Oh I see, I just googled Manila was established in the 13th century while Abuja was settled in 1828. I checked Abuja on youtube and it is impressive. Anyway, I wish the best for both cities.

      She’s more probable to be accepted in the US, as the US preference are the Filipino nurses. With her diploma is not difficult and better pay. Europe is more complicated.

    So sorry you have to face this,Well, it all depends on the area you are living in Abuja , most people living outstirts of Abuja are the ones facing this issue,
    but next time don’t do negotiations of a thing or you cancel the ride be it bolt
    or Uber you can make a report.i was in Abuja early January before I travelled back to base the bolt and Uber I used was air condition cars and also clean and neat cars.

      In our country it does not depend on which area a passenger is located what is the amount stated in the apps that's what you pay for the ride this is the practice throughout the country.

      I think Bolts are better, but you see the “Rida app”. They are good in increasing prices😂😂

    I saw a video showing daily life in Lagos. Their public transport are yellow vans like the white UV Express ones we have in the Philippines. Except in Lagos, they drive with the van doors wide open. 👁👄👁 Does that count as culture shock even if I didn't actually go there physically? 😁 Hope to visit someday though. Dorcas, hope you can also show us that majestic rock in Abuja.

      They called that yellow vans as Danfos, while tricycles they call them keke in Thaikand and Cambidia they call them toktok and the Angkas/habalhabal in the Philippines they called them Okada.

    in 2022 the nigerian economy boosted to 471 billion usd economy but now in 2024 the nigerian economy is only 281billion which is alot lower compared to 2022 I'm still wondering how in the hell that happened like the economy shrink that low not only nigeria experience it south africa and Egypt also experience it

    County.. Upper Middle Income economy..470 billion US dollars Economy,2024... Meaning Philippines is not poor country and not a third world country...

      Developing countries are not entirely the same because Philippines is quite miles ahead in all fronts of development like infrastructure, health care system, education, communication, social services, transportation and security. The dgp per capita says it all. In the first quarter of this year's report by the world bank, Nigeria's gdp per capita is only 1,400 while the Philppines is 4,130.

    What are the things you think that didn't change at all in Nigeria.
