That's is true . nung bata pako meron indian na natulong samen non at palage nya ko sinasakay sa motor nya para makapag gala dahil hindi ko afford maka sakay ng jeep.
Years ago the top 1 among passers in medical board exam was an Indian who graduated medicine from University of Sto Tomas. I also noticed the frequency of Indian pilot students in Philippine flying schools. Some of them even reach provincial flying school like in Pulilan, Bulacan.
I am from the Philippines but now in Canada. When I was in college way back 1999 to 2003 in Cebu City, there were a lot of Iranian students mostly taking up Dentistry or Medicine. I wonder if there are still Iranian students there now. There were also students from Nigeria, Nepal and Pakistan. Haven't seen someone from India way back though. It brings great pride to see international students in the Philippines but I'm really wondering why they choose the Philippines for their studies instead of other countries like Malaysia and Singapore?
Still so much Iranians studying medicine, and International Students are increasing in Cebu, they are everywhere, BTW do you know that Cebu is the most visited place in the Philippines? For the 3rd Quarter of 2023 Cebu got 2.7 Million Foreign Visitors already❤❤
Thank you dorcas, for promoting educational tourism in your 2nd country Philippines ❤️🙏 love ur segment 😘godbless my dear❤️🙏 shoutout from negros, oriental👏❤️
This is great. Thanks for the good videos of insight, Dorcas. I hope to be invited to one of these international events next time. Take care. Great interviews.
Thanks for that interview Miss.. Actually, I was sooo surprised, when I boarded the plane from Singapore to cebu, saw so many Indians nationality and I asked if they are going cebu to tour around and one of them replied, They are going to study. I said wow, and i wish them all the best. Foods, might be hard for them in our country knowing they are actually quite strict especially those vegan and for indian foods, we dont have many restaurants that sells indian food. Hope and Wishing, you guys are coping well there in our country. Best wishes.
I am a retired OFW from the Middle East esp Saudi Arabia and I worked with my Indian nationality an they were also a good in English conversation but they were very conservative people esp the Hindu people. I like them as well because we worked together in our sites and no language barrier
What I like about Indians is they adapt to society whatever country they are in. When they establish a business let's say food or groceries, everybody is welcome. They behave well in their host country unlike one Asian country with the same population who brings crime and lives in a bubble.
Wow! I didn’t know the University of the Visayas is popular to foreign students, esp. its College of Medicine. Good thing it’s located in Cebu - one of the most interesting islands in the Philippines!
I was a nursing student in the university, some of my classmates --Filipino-Americans--they went back to the Philippines because it has cheaper tuition fees compared to U.S. Our nursing curriculum is U.S. based, that's why if you are a graduate in the Philippines and go to U.S., you don't need to study anymore ..just take NCLEX and you can work as U.S. RN
Clarification : Strict Hindus don't eat beef, though pork is ok. However, many Hindus don't eat pork too, due to heavy muslim influence in India. However there are also not so religious Hindus, who eat pork and even beef.
Great questions, did not realize so many Indians come here to study. Let see question # 1. What is your favorite food in the Philippines. Me - (Balut, Bagoog and Bangus)!!!
Beautiful ladies. Maybe u will eat more inasal chicken 😊, when u eat fish, seafood, I think there r plenty in cebu. Maybe there r indian restaurants n cebu🤔. Goodluck!U can adjust, and survive😊
Where do they study? There are some good places for indian food.. I think they dont study in Davao, because basically the whole street in front of the medical school is indian food :D Where is it?
3 pretty future indian doctors❤. Everyone you interview are great. Btw, did you marry your pinoy bf? It’s been a while you were absent for along time or i just missed your vlogs?
The strictness and curfew we have that culture too until 90s kids but 2000 kids are not that kind anymore.. Genz ruins the respect sometimes, adapting someone’s culture😢
@@DORCASMorounmubo is there anyone indian graduate doctor in the philippines work in us, canada or europe. Because all i know some filipino graduate from philppines hire in usa, europe, canada and soon. I want to hear if there some indian graduate from philippines hire in usa, europe, australia, canada.
Thats NOT true, both the Indian Medical students and foreign medical graduates have the a common licensing exam i.e. NEXT. Any student who qualifies this exam will get the same medical license to practice medicine in India, no matter weather you did your MBBS from Philippines or MBBS in India.
@@Equilibrium523 you did not know the new law? that is why in one of the interview of indian students here they said its like they are just spending vacation in the Philippines
