"Premenstrual dysphoric disorder"(PMDD) If you've never heard of it I'll put a brief description from the @nhs website "A small number of women may experience more severe symptoms of PMS known as premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD). Symptoms of PMDD are similar to PMS but are much more intense and can have a much greater negative impact on your daily activities and quality of life. Symptoms can include: *physical symptoms such as cramps, headaches and joint and muscle pain *behavioural symptoms such as binge eating and problems sleeping *mental and emotional symptoms, such as feeling very anxious, angry, depressed or, in some cases, even suicidal." As its PMDD awareness month it was only right to put this episode out this month.
I pray that God heals every organ, blood vessel and cell in your (and your husband's) body so that you can conceive and birth a healthy baby girl or boy or twins. Blessings to you! Sharon, thank you for sharing.
Only discovered the term PMDD within the last year, but have been dealing with it at least about 10 years to varying degrees. Once I hit 30, seems like that’s when my cycle went “out of whack,” including very heavy bleeding and more extreme symptoms overall. When I came across a RUclips video that explained PMDD, I was so happy just to know that it wasn’t all in my head and that there are other women who have similar experiences. I can relate to so much of what y’all discussed, and I really appreciate the open conversation. Blessings to both of you beautiful ladies!🩵🩵
I really need to hear from christian ladies, sometimes dealing with this can be isolating. People tend to be so dismissive, and think it's in your head, that it can be fixed if you just suck it up, pray, and read your word. None of the above is bad, we should rely on the lord, he still heals. But in the mean time, it is so debilitating, there's a need for care and understnading.
