look to the 787 cockpi
it IS the most futuristic cockpit

@@HeliPilot.co.zV1 basically is the point where you can't reject the takeoff. That's why he takes his hand off the throttle. That's completely normal and happends on every flight.

Our lives are all in God's hands, we are merely a tool, even though we are pofessionally trained. Always b grateful to almighty
Whatever bro. Those planes 100% fly and land by themselves......
@@BostonBuzz I know but the pilots are handled to console such situations like a emergency or a cabin depresserisazition or a compressor stall.
Basically anything so we should really appreciate these guys
@@BostonBuzznot 100%, no. Plus the pilots are there to “fix” things, which happens more than you think.

I don't care what they say, I do not fly!
@@laurakramer6425 Your loss 🤷♂️
😢I flew with my Mom & Grandma to see my niece graduate from boot camp from the Marine Corp. The turbulence was so bad that the little puddle jumper of a plane 😳 was thrown around and we weren't able to unhook the seat belts. I was not having a good time! Haven't and won't fly ever again
Whenever the pilot decides to hold and delay your flight. Trust your captain.
Thanks for your comment mate
Actually, trust your aircraft engineer who has told the captain to wait.
I never give anyone a hard time over a delay or cancellation, in return I only want a clear and concise communication from the airline to the passengers regarding the situation.

I absolutely love this aircraft. Unfortunately, never had the chance to fly on one, but certainly one of my favourite Airbus aircraft.
The hand movement at V1 was smooth af lol

Definitely was
I agree
That's what she said
smooth criminal
Capt looks very professional tbh
extensive training and thousands of hours behind the controls
Could that be because he is a professional pilot🤔
You never know until they're faced with a test of airmanship. These planes are very much automated to the extent that in a normal situation anyone who has extensive knowledge of the systems, e.g. a flight Simulator expert, can fly these planes.
A pilot's mettle is only proven when faced against challenging and unexpected situations.
@@Carefreeblues I agree with you !
@@Carefreeblues That is utterly ridiculous. There is much more to being a pilot than "systems knowledge". For example, pilots train a bewildering number of different emergency situations in the simulator as part of their regular duty. To say that a pilot is only tested "when faced against challenging and unexpected situations" is extremely derogatory and unfair.
Every takeoff is optional. Every landing is mandatory. 🛫 🛬👍💖
Partially True 👍

350?tpo mistake
It is always most reassuring to find that, in spite of evidently having years, perhaps decades, of experience, that the Cap who was clearly flying today, was concentrating like it was his first flight and doing it by the book - with his equally efficient FO doing a sterling job helping him with the take off checklist.
No matter HOW many times you see it, it remains astounding......🙂❤

You're most welcome buddy
He had at least 100ft-lbs of force on those pedals
For what?
brakes!
Actually not. Brake and rudder pedals are the most force intensive controls in an airbus cockpit but even they don't require a force in the magnitude of 100ft-lbs. They barely need anything more than double of car brakes.
I love stupid comments like "brakes" when discussing a plane accelerating for take off. It's better to say nothing at all when you have no idea what you're talking about Mr Brakes guy
@@markcullinane4438 dear sir, I actually fly one of those machines. The very specific model in the video, in fact. The same pedals operate both rudder and brakes. Rudder is actively used during takeoff and therefore is correct to presume there is significant pedal activity, though not to an extent as mentioned by the OP.

For me, it is the most important profession, you have to have courage and good health, not everyone can be pilots, maybe 15 out of 100, we all fly for work or vacations but the vast majority do not care who the pilot is... but To me they are the most important thing, they come and go, transporting people safely to their homes or their destinations.
Thank you for your comment
@@ATPLStudent it’s true when I’m going to fly and I’m waiting to board the flight I’m always observing when the crew is boarding they’re like a big family and i recognize the pilot by their suitcase and I look at them very proudly and if they have white roots I have a lot more trust in them and I think this man does his job with so much value with knowing that one day he might not make it home, it’s a hard and dangerous profession

Amazing how fast this large bird reaches 100 knots (185 km/h).
I can't even imagine being in that position. That has to be a job that never gets boring.
You are absolutely right
I loved it. Only job I ever wanted and then Leukemia rather ruined my life.
I would guess being on a long haul flight is absolutely mundane since autopilot takes over. Heard from many pilots that outside of monitoring the instruments, there's basically nothing else to do unless the airline allows stuff like books in the cockpit.

Beautiful take off.... beautiful piece of engineering.
I love the feeling of a Take-Off !!
So do I
Love that assurance he gives his co-pilot when he removes his right hand from the trust levers during the initial climb. It sure reduces the anxiety knowing the pilot taking off is not going to either accidentally or intentionally pull the trust levers down all the way back and stalling the climb. Although I though both pilots would have their corresponding hand on the levers.
After V1 no hand is supposed to be on thrust lever, until climb thrust.
Standard Operating Procedure among most airlines nowadays
@@ATPLStudent not most, all airlines. Plus also not “now a days”, it’s always been the case. It’s not a standard operating procedure for companies, it’s standard operating for the whole industry. I’m pretty sure the manufacturers even require it.
Genuine question from someone who doesn't fly: As a natural right-hander there's not one scenario where I'd use my left hand on a joystick of a game controller, my right hand is about 100 times more capable of making the joystick do exactly what my brain wants it to. Same would go for things like carving a roast, turning a screwdriver, putting a key in a door, and so on. My right hand is highly capable and my left is not. I cannot even begin to imagine doing something like in the video where if things go wrong and the joystick needs sudden precise movements to save the day, a lot of people would be at risk (to put it mildly) and my weakest hand *by far* was needed to perform unnatural feeling moments. So how do right-handed people do this with any skill and confidence, or are left-handed Captains in demand?
As a righty myself, I can assure you that with practice you will easily get used to it. you will be surprized how true the saying *practice makes perfect*. with a little bit of practice your brain will acustom the signals received from your left hand and vice versa, then our muscle memory will kick in and in no time you be good at it. I remember very well one time i sat on the right hand of a small aircrfat an tried to land it with my right hand, knowing that I am right-handed yet I WAS all over the place. it is just matter of practice
You’ll get over this during initial training flying left on the yoke right on the throttle.
If you drive a LHD vehicle, I bet you use the left hand more often than you think. Edit: I rest my right arm on the armrest.
Just fly the Boeing. A joystick for a plane is a stupid idea anyway
Looks like you stay as a first officer.....forever......or fly a Boeing
Amazing Video
I didn't know that they use joysticks to fly planes, that's hella cool
Airbus, baby!! :)
All Airbus come with joysticks
@TensferBlock Boeing uses yokes but also I’m pretty sure bombardier, embraer, and cessna just to name a few also uses yokes. It is true that the a310 was yoke due to fly by wire not coming into airbus planes until the a320.
Only for about 30 years. 🤣👍
Yes, since the 1970’s!
Brilliant pilot l love watcing these and going on my flite simulator 😊
Thank you for your comment mate
Did he not realize his feet were on the brakes?
He's waiting for the engines to spool up before releasing brakes. Uses less runway for takeoff
Now thats a smooth take off
Indeed it is
I am not sure that I would like to use my left hand for the stick - being right handed I am sure I would not have the delicacy of control required.
it is merelya matter of practice, believe me
You’ll get used to it, only gentle touch is required in airbus
Thanks for your service❤🥰💕
You are so welcome
Hope camera footage is now stored of flight data recording. All these air crash investigation programmes I've watched, all there is missing is a vid of what's hapoening
Good idea
A cockpit video is a compulsory now for new generation aircrafts
The best airecraft
Without a doubt
I'll never get used to those two independent Airbus sticks. Prefer the connected Boing wheels
it is a matter of preference, i'd rather to fly stick
Just don't call them wheels and you're grand
That's where all top Gs work 💪, also I want to be a comercial pilot when I grow up
Man that has to be the dumbest location for the 1st officers control stick. Unless you are left handed. Hope they have it for right hand too.
Except that’s the Captain. The First Officer is on the right side.
@Sam-mp1cr oops ty for the correction haha.
Almost all planes have the throttle inbetween the two pilots meaning most of the time the Capt is going to be using their left hand and the FO is going to be using their right. This way the pilots get more space (And a tray table with a keyboard included in the 350)
I got to work in my grey saloon this morning. Has a speedometer, no rpm. Check light for the lights burned. Got into a traffic jam with 15 min delay. Looked at a computer for 6 hours. Damn I miss so much in my life, knowing you can be a pilot for a living! 😮
