Buy or sell: the buy or sell series makes it to episode 100
I’m buying this! There’s no lack of imagination when it comes to theme parks and roller coasters. That should keep this channel in business for a long time. 😅

Buy or Sell: Chris makes it to 100
I’m buying this. They are too good.
Buy or sell: Airtimes Thrill Chris rides Skyrush with its new restraints and he likes it, elevating it to his top 50 coasters. Then he make a video formally apologizing to it in the past
I asked this question a few buy or sell’s ago and it didn’t get picked..
Buy, but I don’t think it’ll be too 50, I’d go for about top 100
Lost Island has one major advantage over other struggling parks. It wasn't financed with debt.
The family sold their furniture business (where they got the money to build a waterpark), and reinvested that cash into the theme park. So while the park struggles to make it into the black it doesn't have debt burden strangling it.
Imagine if America cloned the entire coaster and everything about it EXCEPT making any falcon theming into an eagle💀
itd be put at six flags mm and called superman something too
Imagine if great america replaced American Eagle with that (I don’t think they can build over that road anymore tho)
And they shove it into the grand canyon
Id be down

Buy or sell: Kingda Ka will receive the dragster treatment in the next 5 years
I wonder if they could add an actual layout instead of just a spike?
@@AirtimeAxolotl yeah something similar to a super sized storm runner would cool. I just wonder what's going to happen to it as it's getting up in age.
@AirtimeAxolotl why you hating on top thrill 2?
@@CedarPointfan630 I'm not hating on top thrill 2, I just don't want it to be the exact same thing
Selllllllllllll. Like when I commented on an old el toro Ryan video (before it got retracted parts) saying who wants RMC el toro? And ETR replied “definitely not me” lmao. That response but for LSMs on kingdaka. If it’s close the ride and tear it down then yeah LSM it, but for any other reason don’t touch it. That launch is an experience of a lifetime. LSMs aren’t to be fair.
But or sell: Alton towers next roller coaster will be a Mack multi-launch embedded in the terrain to compete with hyperia
no cause Rita exists
@@YaanAdenKanonen existed when Helix opened, so not sure what your point is.
@@YaanAdenRita is on its way out
Thorpe Park (the park that is building Hyperia) is owned by the same company as Alton Towers, Merlin Entertainments. They technically don't compete with each other.

Buy or sell: after Montezooma is done, Knott's will revive their giga coaster project
sell
Sell knots is the family park now and magic mountain will get the giga
@@juiceman8108 knotts is NOT a family park but they definitely aren’t getting a giga
They are one of the less attended park
Sell, sell, sell. They sent out a survey recently and they are considering either a coaster dark ride or a shuttle tower coaster or whatever that thing was.
Also, the theme park industry is in decline and parks are cutting back and charging more. Unless the park is Disney or Universal, we are going to see smaller projects for some time.
Buy or sell:Upcoming Cedar Fair rides, like the ones that might be coming to KI and CW are going to be a lot more themed a lot better like european parks
I think themed better, but not as good as European parks, sell
One potential for an Exacoaster: Vegas getting back into the coaster game. There was the behemoth drop tower coaster thing off the side of a skyscraper proposed there in the past. If anyone was going to actually buy a Polar coaster or other strange model, I can see it going in at a casino.
Vegas seems pretty likely ngl
Vegas is like the Gulf countries: a testament to consumption and doing what no one else does because you can; im buying this
Buy or sell: all the premier spaghetti bowl coasters are either scrapped or retracked by 2030
honestly hope we get a similar coaster model soon, theres not much like the spaghetti bowls
It's not worth re tracking them
Zamperla’d like Top Thrill 🤔
They don't even work. Why would they retrack them? They're headed for the furnace lol
buy
Buy or sell: Busch gardens Tampas next big project will be a huge renovation to the Kumba Pavillon with the water ride, and a possible new coaster (hopefully a Giga)
sell
Their next major coaster will probably be a Kumba replacement, but they aren't gonna fit a water ride and a giga back there lol. I doubt they'll build either one of those actually. They need flat rides, I could see a flat going back there + maybe a coaster.
Buy and sell, I can see a renovation to the area but I’m not too sure about the giga or any new coaster going in it’s spot
Buy or Sell:
A theme park is announced for Huntsville, Alabama in the next 3 years. (Growing area, good distance from any other parks, between Nashville and Birmingham)
Buy or Sell: One middle tier park in the SF chain will move to the upper tier category by 2030
Buy or sell: Because Viper at Six Flags Magic Mountain’s old entrance and archway were removed, that is a sign that Viper’s days are numbered.
They're not gonna risk their "most coasters in the world" title
Buy or sell: Since Cedar Point usually goes for the biggest of each coaster type, when or if they get a modern wooden coaster, it could be a hyper.
sell
Sell because SteVe is right there
Sell. Just like how the Smiler accident seems to have cursed the inversion record, I think Son of Beast being a SoB ride cursed the wooden hypercoaster.
Buy cause they could use the gravity group pre cut track to make it smoother and stronger
Interesting concept but sell, Cedar Point already has a hyper (albeit it being a hybrid) and seeing how much of a disaster Son of Beast was, it ain’t likely
Buy or sell: Le Monstre at La Ronde never gets RMC treatment and is torn down by the end of the decade
Sell. The Montreal citizens would have an absolute fit if Six Flags even thinks about tearing down such a historic coaster. At the same time, I don't think Six Flags would put the money in to have it RMC'd either. I think a more likely solution would be to give it a retrack. But yeah, I doubt they'd just completely tear it down unless they already have a really good replacement in mind.
@@mack_r-s Fair point I thought about a tear down bc the cost of maintenance is so high now but ig the gp would hate to see it go
@@Simon-Alexis It's likely the same reason why Canada's Wonderland has only seen one of it's roller coasters (Sky Rider) get torn down in the 40+ years it's existed.
Buy Or Sell: Universal uses the old Nick Studios plot to expand the rumored Rip Ride Rocket replacement.
They could tear down stage 21 too. While 90s kids will be devastated (if they hadn’t been enough by Quiet on Set) it makes sense because nothing has been used in that area since the Blue Men Group left.
Buy or Sell: We will see an RMC topper track close or be retracked in the next 5 years
buy
Definitely buy
Buy, most likely to be Lightning Rod (im aware it isn’t a topper track anymore but it’s still the most likely RMC to go to the scrap yard)
buy or sell: assuming skyrushs new lapbars are a success, superman the ridre will follow the same path by 2035
At the ace event this year for sfne the park said that they have no plans to change Superman’s trains even if the Massachusetts law changed. Said something like “it’s pretty good hardware” referring to the train and happy with how the ride is performing. The restraints aren’t that bad if your pockets are empty and you don’t get stapled
Buy or Sell: The Success of Loch Ness leads to the preservation of dozens of old Arrow coasters
Man, I hope so
Great video! I enjoyed watching this! Im all for a 500 ft coaster in the next 10 years coming to the US!
Buy or Sell: Zamperla will redo another major coaster within the next 3-5 years

Definitely buy.
Buy or sell: As a result of Universal UK, Merlin invests more into Legoland Windsor

I mean they already are. It was announced Yesterday they're redoing in the entrance gate and redoing The Beginning.
I'm just hoping Universal UK is Merlin's Kick in the Butt, they've been too complacent

12:40 Considering the new surveys for Carowinds, Cedar Point and Kings Island and one of them being a giga dive; I doubt that they are slowing down.
Thanks so much for the consideration on Mindbender! Galaxyland is my home park, and though Triple Five has two other locations with thrill coasters, a combination of the pandemic, opening American Dream in March 2020, the otherwise lower popularity of Galaxyland, and the rebranding to a more family oriented park, these all kind of make me doubt that they'll get anything from Gerstlauer, unfortunately.
They've done investments from Gerstlauer like that in the past, ie their spinner, but I've also heard along the grapevine that upper management was given a 20 year ROI, and they just don't have that kind of money - plus, soon after Mindbender was closed for good, they hinted at a "family-friendly" attraction. I'm not sure, but I'm doubtful - they could, but odds are they won't.
A really good person to ask about this would be Best Edmonton Mall - he's the resident nerd.
Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit is replaced with another music-themed coaster, but either from Mack or Intamin.
6:59 I know BGT has a height limit of 200ft and so does the entire state of Florida but then again they had ease with Falcon Fury being built and approving that as long as it did not make to much noise.
I suggested that how wheels would make a third Mattel adventure park as well but I wasn’t listed.
Buy or sell: where are all the California's Great America coasters going??? Not sure if this fits the criteria, but maybe it's a good idea for another episode???!!!! Keep up the great vids!!!
You should do a video on parks that have valuable land or other factors that could cause them to be closed or sold
Buy or Sell: For it's 35th Birthday, Viper at SFMM will get the Premier retrack treatment just like Loch Ness Monster at BGW.
Buy or sell: the first Rmc t-rex is built in the Middle East
Can u do a reverse launch video comparison video basically start with shuttle coaster pushes and end probably on top thrill 2?
you mentioned the houses getting built behind magic mountain. I wonder if magic will have sound rules put on them due to people now living behind the park. Like if new rides they put in maybe cant go beyond a certain height or cant make that much sound due to the houses being put in. Or since they where there first then they can do what ever they want. But i dont know
I love this, RUclipsr

Buy or sell: Falcon’s flight is going to have all sorts of problems when it opens. I think you already did this one. Buy or sell: Colorado will build a world class coaster once Elitch Gardens moves. If it ever happens. (In my dreams.)
Buy or sell: Post merger we will see chain-wide clones so the next common clone will also be sent to some Cedar Fair park
Video Idea: A Numbers on the Board or ranking video for the first coaster of every coaster type (hyper, giga, flying, etc)
Buy Or Sell: Hershey Park will open a new launched family coaster in chocolate town for the 2025/2026 season.
Buy or Sell: Six Flags Great America re-themes their Camp Cartoon area to Camp Snoopy if the merger goes through.
One possibility I would like to mention for the area are that Woodstock Express could be brought over from California’s Great America but Sprocket Rockets would be removed and the theater behind the land would need to be destroyed to make room. Maybe a couple new family flat rides as well?
Buy or sell: six flags magic mountains next ride is an axis coaster
I like how the episode posing this starts with the first clip being a 40 foot tall S&S free spin
And are great adventure looking at retiring kingda ka?
In regards to Six Flags memberships, I have mine through Frontier City (gold), and in April, they implemented a 50-cent increase per month, after emailing me about it a couple months back. That makes me think that they could be planning to keep us long term, even if they end up being valid at Cedar Fair parks too. We'll probably see more increases in the rate if that's the case, but I'm okay with that. I feel that if the plan was to eliminate them soon, they wouldn't have increased the rate, but we'll see.
Yeah ive seen all the tiers go up recently. Could mean theyre keeping it. Could just be to make up for inflation
I feel like a mattel adventure park would be great for a place like jacksonville, a pretty big metropolitan area thats a few hours north of orlando. Or one in miami!
To whoever pitched that buy or sell…
Dude, we don’t even have a 500-foot coaster in the *world* yet, we aren’t getting a 600-foot coaster anytime soon, especially not in the US. It’s probably going to be in a country that can waste a lot of money on a project like that.
Would love to see a tier list for the Six Flags/Cedar Fair parks combined
Buy or sell: Cedar Point's next big thrill coaster (that isn't a conversion or replacement of an older one) is a mack extreme spinner.
I never heard of lost Island till this video
Ditto😅
I’ve heard it’s nice but I used to live in Iowa about an hour from where it is. And I didn’t even know there was a water park there. (I moved out before Lost Island opened).
Buy or sell Six flags over Georgia next coaster is a modern family wooden coaster
Video series idea: rank the top 5 coasters in each state of the U.S.
Regular video idea: top 10 (or 20 your choice) best non inverting steel coasters
1:57 one already exists. Ocean Flower Island Fairyland was going to open one but it’s been SBNO since 2018 or smth
Buy or sell: another S&S multi launch like gale force opens up at a larger park, either dueling or with a switch track to increase capacity by 2030
I doubt that sea world would open a location in Australia considering we already have our own version of it
I am a believer in the 600 ft model coming to another country within the coming years. Surely, intamin did so much R&D on this that they'll want to use, so they'll be shopping it around, and considering the marketing opportunities for this i can see a park picking it up. even going to 500 ft would be enough to sell a potential coaster like that around the world, considering for most people in the world the one in Saudi Arabia doesn't exist due to price, or more pressingly, safety concerns, so this would effectively be the first 500 foot roller coaster and effectively hold the height record. I could see maybe energylandia picking it up, but that wouldn't have the marketing appeal considering Poland is also a dangerous country that most people on the political left would not go to. So maybe we just have to wait for the right buyer, but i see it happening one day. Also, if you don't understand what i mean when I call these countries dangerous, I'm referring to their human rights records.
Buy or Sell - Raptor will become an Ace landmark being it's first B&M inverted coaster ever at a Ceder Fair Park.
I’m definitely seeing a Bat/drag ends fire issue with Steel Curtain. I don’t think it’s going to last that much longer.
BEST VIDEO SERIES
anyways BUY OR SELL kings island will get a American version of Karnan to replace vortex for the 2026 season
Buy Or Sell: If Savannah Sunset at Great Adventure succeeds, they will announce a hotel by 2027.
I highly doubt galaxyland will get an extreme coaster to replace Mindbender since the new owners seem to actively hate thrill rides- i think I heard they replaced most of the extreme rides with family rides. At the most, maybe they get a very low thrill but tall ride like a large Ferris Wheel or a tall powered coaster, or a coaster that has trim brakes throughout the entire layout.
I also have my doubts over nighthawk receiving ace status since I don’t think Vekoma makes parts for that model anymore. If they don’t expect the ride to be around for long, they probably won’t do it. Maybe if they replace some of the ride’s systems like Great America is doing with Whizzer (which received the honor when it was already 40 years old), or fully retrack it like Nor’ Easter (why is it named that?) it could be possible though, if they wouldn’t rather replace it with something new.

Buy or sell: to increase their workload GCI or Gravity group start making steel coasters in the next ten years
Buy or sell: Lost Island gets a new coaster in the next 5 years
Buy or Sell: With Kings Island putting out a coster survey, and one option was a multi launch coster, will we see Ceder fair go with Intamin?
Buy or Sell: As long as Top Thrill 2 doesn't run into any major issues in its first year of operation, Cedar Fair/Six Flags will eventually buy Zamperlas for their smaller parks. Ex: A Double Heart for Frontier City, La Ronde, or Michigan's Adventure.

I think since coasters seem to be downsizing, 500 ft wont happen in USA. Kinda agree on COTAland tho. Random parks like that will do it
For the last one, it’s a shame that Six Flags America would probably be even more impacted than it is now. It’s a park with a lot of potential, mainly because it’s one of only two parks on the East Coast that’s accessible by a major city’s public transit system (the other being Coney Island, although the two are alike in that they are well away from the cores of their respective cities).
Buy or Sell: Kings Island’s next coaster will either be a B&M Flyer, RMC I-Box, or an RMC Raptor on either the plot where Vortex was or where Son of Beast’s queue and land was

Buy or sell: Over the next 10 years, America's skyrocketing obesity rate will have a tangible impact on the theme park industry as too many potential customers find themselves unable to fit on roller coasters.
Background: 70% of Americans are either overweight or obese, with 30% being obese. One of the most common questions on coaster forums is, "Can I fit?" which is usually asked on non-Disney forums. But even the new Tron coaster at Disney had issues with larger riders. And even if a guest can fit, the ride can still be uncomfortable due to excess weight.
Does this finally reach a point where our obesity problem results in less people going to coaster parks? Will coaster manufacturers adapt by designing restraints for larger riders at the expense of less intense coasters?
Buy or sell: Airtime Thrills hits 100k subs by the end of 2024
With all of the dumb city ordinances, it’s unlikely any park will have an Exa coaster unless the park is in the middle of Arizona, Wyoming or Utah. Although the problem is they have unforgiving weather worse than California. So it’s really hard to say if they’ll have one in this country…I think if it EVER was possible it would have to be in an area with moderate weather on the east coast/mid west and isn’t open 365 days a year. Because it’s likely a coaster that would need to receive regular inspections and maintenance.
Buy or Sell: Magic Mountain will replace Viper and Riddler's with a Giga that goes around the back of Apocalypse.
Buy or sell: Hersheypark replaces Tidal Force with an RMC raptor, drop tower (orlando free fall style in contrast to the 3 towers they have) or sky screamer by 2027
Buy or sell: kings islands new major roller coaster will use the old son of beast plot instead of vortex plot
Buy or Sell: Rita will eventually be removed (hopefully relocated to another park) and be replaced with a bigger ride that better suits the theme of the Dark Forest area, possibly a launched B&M or a ground-up RMC hybrid
Buy or Sell: Six Flags Qiddiya could be a potential candidate for the RMC T Rex Coaster
