Going to dig into this one right now. Mike Ritland does an awesome job and his dog food saved my pit mix. How does Ritland only have 137 k. Subscribe people. In advance thank you both for your service 🇺🇸

Pretty sure he’s being shadow banned, I’ve been subscribed for a pretty long time and his subs grow extremely slow while having great content and guests. Not sure if I’m right but I know I don’t get notifications but at the same time there’s guys who had similar backgrounds that started channels way after him that have blown up so it’s hard to say

What an amazing show you put on and the real world education provided is invaluable! I think anyone who is interested in enlisting in our military should watch this podcast. You are celebrating our World Class Warriors as well as getting the truth out there, educated our future generations and honoring our past. I truly thank you for what you are doing and everything that you've done. Both of you gentlemen are doing the most important work of your lives now and I know that every minute of this episode was worth my time. Thank You

Thank you for the video. Real people discussing real events. Very good people. I attempted to support your channel by buying the Omega 3 Skin and Coat Soft Chews for my dear daughter's little pug. Please keep up the good work. I am happy to find charitable organizations that actually support our dear vets. My father suffered from what is now PTSD, after the Korean War. He had been blown off a tank June 1944, but that was not as traumatic. The massive attacks by teenagers, strung out on opium, both Chinese and NKs, were very "disruptive" to his psyche. He went on to Vietnam to work for the JCS, with (not in) MACvSOG. He was buried at Arlington. We must support our vets.

Another awesome show Mike! I love all of your shows. There is one thing that is extremely frustrating though. Ice noticed that the guests that have books out hold back significantly on telling detailed stories about their time in combat. I get it. Selling the book is number one and stories sell the books. But damn if it's not frustrating! Please don't stop with these awesome podcasts. Thank you for your service.

Interesting to hear him speak about MAWTS-1 in Yuma... I was an Instructor there from 2004-2007. I worked closely in 2004 with the Ground Combat Dpt Major Greg Poland was the Dpt Head when I got there. Then "Iron Mike" that left in 2006 to help stand up MARSOC. And I cant remember who was there in 2007 when I left. He was an Artillery guy tho. A Capt when he got there then got Promoted to Major right before I left....MAWTS-1 is amazing and I learned so much when I went there surrounded by super smart and talented Marines, Sailors, even some Army folks....
When he said the "Marine Corps version of TOP GUN" its more than that. It encompasses the entire MAGTF and Joint Forces. But as an example of what he meant... For an F-18 Pilot to attend Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) Course at Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron-1 (MAWTS-1). TOP GUN is a Pre-Req to go WTI in Yuma... So the Student Pilots are badass already. The Instructors are insanely good... And they cover all type model series of AC in the Marine Corps inventory. And every aspect of the MAGTF from Cooks in the field to ANGLICO, RECON, SEALS get involved, Army Patriots, little birds, etc. I loved my time there.... Semper FI!

Not all of the trained to do that, can do it. Some highly trained people for these jobs fail in the moment. Sometimes i think not knowing your own limitations is better than finding them out in volunteery violence or other extreme situations.

The point Mike made about the failure of elected and appointed officials is worth a deep dive. Truth be told if they had to submit an application and resume for the offices they hold 99% are not qualified. They may have a college degree but they don’t have real world experience. So we really shouldn’t expect people like the POTUS, Sec Def, Sec of State or any of the rest of those clowns to do a good job. And every 4 years the clown show starts over.

  • @krisspradlin715

I think everyone has that, since people want to prove to themselves that that do. Because the 98 percent that don't want to prove anything like that, will, if they have to.

The conversation at 01:03:00 About Generals and Politicians learning the lesson or learning from the past Is a pipe dream. They didnt learn from Korea where we left in a stalemate between North and South and did the exact same thing in Vietnam. Then due to waning public support and the ability of the American public to lose resolve we repeated it in Iraq 2X. Did they learn? Nope. Lets try it again in Afghanistan in the summer of 2021. Its unreal! Im convinced that they must secretly admire and study former Sec Def MacNamara and Gen Westmoreland at Gen Officer level schools and seminars. Id love to see some of these cuck Generals that ran those shitshows speak about it.

So many people, especially warriors like my Marine brother, still can't answer the question of "why?" we went to Iraq to begin with. So much blood shed for what? Of course Saddam was a bad dictator, but what did he have to do with 9/11? ...nothing. After 9/11 nothing made sense despite our boys faithfully sacrificing, fighting in countries that had nothing to do with the attacks that were allowed to occur on our own soil. My hat goes off to all of you that did go out there and did what you had to do so we didn't have to. Godspeed to you all.
