Some points he made in the vid are: -That the British's way of arbitrarily dividing the countries placed Pakistan in a position where it would be in direct opposition with India, he then proceeds to describe the conflicts that arose from this problem. -He then states that should conflict ever escalate, Pakistan's non-existent geographical defenses would work against it, the Indian army could punch through the easily traversable terrain quickly, and many of Pakistan's population centers are near the border to India, which means a victory will be much easier for them. -He goes on to say that since Pakistan has so few major ports, and the biggest one being reliant on the oil from the strait of Homurz to keep the money rolling, so it would be easy to blockade Pakistan. He makes a lot more points throughout the video, and all of them make a lot of sense to me. All of this is pretty easy to digest.

The partition of India is a ridiculously complicated issue, but initially Britain wanted to keep India united. What changed circumstances was demands for a separate Muslim state and elections in 1945 and 1946 that saw the Muslim League win in what is now Pakistan and Bangladesh. The Partition lines were drawn by a 5 person commission, with two members each from the Congress Party and the Muslim League and chaired by Cyril Radcliffe. The whole situation was a rushed mess and a reminder that borders should be drawn by and in consultation with those who live in the effected communities, not by powerful politicians.
@The Engineer Guy I'm Pakistani Pashtun and literally, no one here has the desire to reunite with Afghanistan. In 1947, when Pakistan was created there was a poll in KPK (Pashtun majority region) and no one wanted to join Afghanistan, in fact, the prime minister of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai was an ISI agent and worked for Pakistan when he resided in Quetta basically India is using Afghanistan against Pakistan so the afghans esp the Pashtuns side with India all the time. The other ethnic groups do not want this to happen since pashtuns are always dominating Afghanistan and adding kpk will further worsen the situation. We have a soft heart for the pashtuns of Afghanistan and we know the govt of Afghanistan has to be pro-Pakistani. This is one of the reason why pakistan has supported the Taliban in the past, unfortunately. Pakistan started out with horrible borders and thousands of Kms of Indian territory separating it from its eastern half. Think the Polish corridor before WW2, except so large that the eastern part inevitably seceded.
Having East Pakistan was a huge strategic advantage for us. If adequate military assets would have been placed there we could have waged a two front war against India. It also had the advantage of not being land-locked and had ocean access independent of West Pakistan. Unfortunately, our defence assets and even industry were highly concentrated towards the West while the East was neglected.
@@mobeenansari2076 Not just that, if you look at India's largest internal weaknesses, they were all literally concentrated around East Pakistan: Naxalite corridor, which in turn is connected to Siliguri chokepoint in West Bengal, next to rebellious and sparsely populated NorthEast (which is next to China), with East Pakistan having a larger population in a land that back then was hard to traverse with heavy equipment (and would be a nightmare to invade during monsoon season especially). Kashmir is an integral part of India. The Whole Kashmir. (check out the Instrument of Annexation signed between India and Kashmir).
A part of it was illegally occupied by Pakistan in 1948, a year after independence of both the countries. They advanced their army, in the form of Tribals, and were close to occupy Srinagar, the capital city of Kashmir. It was then the instrument of annexation was signed and Indian Armed Forces took the charge. As the army began to thrash tha Pak’s Army back, UN interfered and asked to control and maintain ceasefire and that (new)border that is not accepted by India, came to be known as Line of Control. (Not an international border as said).
It’s 2022 now, and this issue is stands unresolved between both the countries. There is a lot more about proxy wars and Bleed India with Thousand cuts theory (google), cross border terrorism, radicalisation.. much more.

2. But failure of the UN turned out to be a blessing for Pakistan, as it was due to the UN only that we could not then take our part back. Otherwise what happened in 1965, 1971, 1999 could have happened a long ago in 1948 only. We could have enjoyed the tea at Lahaur much much earlier.
3. After being responsible for decades of Islamic radicalisation in Kashmir Valley(only), you’re now indicating to a plebiscite in Kashmir. I wouldn’t shake my head in disbelief for real. We had Kashmir in 1948 and that’s when it became an undivided part of the Indian Union.

I dunno, they seem to make lots of sense to me.
His main point is that Pakistan's geography either works against it, or does not benefit it.
Some points he made in the vid are:
-That the British's way of arbitrarily dividing the countries placed Pakistan in a position where it would be in direct opposition with India, he then proceeds to describe the conflicts that arose from this problem.

@@mobeenansari2076 in 1971 Pakistan was defeated by India on both the fronts.
@@GopalKUMAR-pq2mi Yes it was. But that was because we didn't put enough military resources in the East.
All of this while West Pakistan tag teams from their side. I have no idea why Pakistan passed this golden chance up, especially when you have military leaders. Lmaooo. Assuming if you were going to go ahead and arm only one side (bad idea nonetheless), East would have made way more sense. CaspianReport briefly mentioned in one of his vids that Bangladesh's side is actually more dangerous to India than Pakistan's...

Why the British suck at making borders
You do better then 😂
It was a deliberate attempt to keep regions unstable and unlikely to unite. So in a way Britain is awesome at drawing borders
@@ilikelampshades6 yep and it's working....disappointing
@@ilikelampshades6 lol Pakistan was the demand of Muslims at this area whitout demand nobody could divide any country - i am asking to u what heppens with muslims In India? Do u have any idea- today in India many Muslims accepted that's creation Pakstan was Right decision and our elders were wrong to choose India -
Indian politics is still stuck in Hindu Muslims in India Muslims are not free- and founding fathers rightly says they are two different nations mostly with conflicted ideas they can't live together - whatever Pakistan's founding fathers said today proved truth -
@@truthexplorer2939 that explains why billions of Indian Muslims flee to Pakistan every second. Thanks for letting the world know on behalf.

Pakistan Geography sucks
Meanwhile Pakistan: Has K2 , Has Deserts , Has Rivers , Has Beach, Has Green Mountains , Has Icy Mountains, you name it Pakistan has it .
You didn't watch the video. It's geography is VULNERABLE.
Not have ever green dense forest as India
Tell me you didn't watch the video without telling me you didn't watch the video.
India has also this. Plus Green dense tropical forest and Islands like Maldeves and Indonesia too.
1. In 1971, 93000 soldiers of pakistan surrendered to Indian army instead of fighting.
2. Pakistan has started four wars with india but got beaten badly in all of them. 1948, 1965, 1971 and 1999.
3. Line of control is not the de facto border. Indian army can and will cross it to capture what belongs to India legally.
4. The Maharaja of Kashmir had signed instrument of accession to merge with India when pakistan had attacked it immediately after independence, breaking a promise they had made that they would let kashmir be an independent state. Thus, the maharaja sought protection from India and all of kashmir belongs legally to india
1. There were never more than 30,000 soldiers in East Pakistan at the time
2. How exactly was 1948 and 1965 "badly beaten"?
3. The LOC has been the de-facto border for decades now and India is smart enough to not invade Pakistani territory. The last time India crossed the LOC, they were humiliated globally and lost 2 jets
4. Junagadh and Hyderabad wanted to accede to Pakistan yet India annexed them without remorse. And the Kashmiris want to be with Pakistan
@@malibumouse exactly, kashmiris have been protesting to join up with Pakistan for 40 years continuously. 100s of protests every day. The UN asked Kashmiris to vote out the country they wanted to join up with, but this needed the consent of Pakistan and India, however, India declined this offer. Guess why? cuz they know that the Kashmiris will obviously vote for Pakistan. Secondly, these indians really change history generation by generation, old 90's Indiansr ( most of them) agree that they lost in the 1965 war, and were the ones to attack Kashmir first in 1948. However, the new generation is radicalized by radical politicians like Modi and others.
The victory of Pakistan in 1965 was published in the whole world in newspapers, all countries agreed that Pakistan won, but our poor Indian radicalists can't accept it
@@XxShadowBladeXx It's good for us that wars are not fought in RUclips comment sections. They want to hide from the ground reality but Kashmir will always be a part of Pakistan
