This began with the overthrow of King Dost Khan of Afghanistan to prevent Afghanistan forming diplomatic relations (and an eventual alliance) with Russia. The Great Game. Britain created Pakistan to continue the Great Game (U2 pilot Gary Powers takes off from Pakistan, flies over Afghanistan and Central Asia and is shot down over the Soviet Union). The political elites sabotaged democracy because they realized they could not win elections in the new country.

@@soldierof-allah11 You have some serious misconceptions and loose grip on geopolitics. What happened was the matter of past. Afghanistan and Pakistan are hardcore enemies now. There are multiple reasons for a future conflict b/w two. The most dominant one is Taliban's claim over Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa region of Pakistan. Taliban doesn't recognise Durand Line (Afghan-Pak international border) drawn by British (Sir Durand). Now coming to the Pakistan's Military Strength, there are several anti-state/separatist rebel groups inside Pakistan like BLA and TTP and they keep capturing pieces of land in Pakistan and bring enough casualties to the army. They may calture some really important strategic locations in the time of war. Addition to that Pakistan lack money to keep up fight for a longer period of time. Pakistan is a doomed state.

Reasons behind the army state of Pakistan's sufferings
    1. USA's exit from Afghanistan and subsequent stoppage of donations to Pakistan from USA.
    2. Pakistan has fooled the IMF 22 times but this time IMF took tough stance and that country is suffering.

The levels of rampant corruption in Government, the social services, the military and the police are astounding. And it has been this way for decades.

Strange that you visited Pakistan many times and were able to figure out the country's military is corrupt. Question is where did you come across the military's corruption while you visited the country "many times". Somebody whose was born and lived there I have come across the military many time while visiting cantonment areas perhaps a dozen times a year but was never exposed to their "corruption". I am not saying the military isn't corrupt in the least but for somebody whose visited Pakistan "many times" the comment seems more so a fabrication than reality. Cool comment though, first make them feel you bode well 'come across it's peoples generous hospitality and the stunning natural beauty,' and then go for the hit.

@@hidum5779 oh yea there is a serious issue in pakistan with religious extremism and in my personal opinion it’s one of the main reasons pakistan has been failing as a nation.
However, even the extremists are not particularly against india, they are against everyone who is against their views (even other muslims of different sects or beliefs) regardless of their nationality, ethnicity or even family relationship.
My point is that other than the issue of kashmir, pakistanis don’t have a grudge against indians. Even in the rare occasions when india is mentioned on pakistani media or by the people, the ratio is overwhelming positive or at least respectful

@@lolololllll we in the West are always reading about how Christians and Hindus in Pakistan, who are not Indians but Pakistanis, are being persecuted.
This makes difficult for Western liberals, who are predominantly of Christian heritage but also have a lot of Hindu sympathies, to sympathise with Pakistan.
