Supearls is not a real girl group. They made up the name during the group round of the auditions. At the time, there wasn't any rules in place to keep groups together. The popularity of this group led them to make a new rule that groups that work this well get to stay together throughout the competition. :)

Thank you coconut. Lee Hayi has that special quality about her and it's not just her voice! Her presence demands attention. And after the singing is all done and this competition is over. Lee Hayi's voice will live on we'll see more of her then the other contestants!
Jimin chose to sign with JYP while YG took in the other three, and was gonna replace Jimin with Lee Hi. Then Jimin debuted under 15&, and YG decided Lee Hi was better as a soloist. He dropped the other girls from YG, and Michelle signed somewhere else to make music. I don't know where the other two are now
I'm so happy, feel like crying right now, supearls is together on stage again. They were a little bit nervous at the beginning, but nvm, they were together. And Jung Mi is really pretty, plus her singing is improved so much. Love her so much, the brave girl.
No words can explain how I feel about this performance. SuPearls reunited, plus Leehi and Ahyeon? Best collab. To be honest here, I actually think that Kpop Star season 1 had more competitive contestants than season 2.
Really regretful that I just discovered them after I watched Kpop Star season 2 just to find out they disbanded :( their voices are like nothing I've heard before and they can really harmonize! Hopefully they can one day meet again and debut, the four of them somehow even though Michelle and jimin are in different companies. What a waste of great talent. Wish the best of luck to the four of them! ^_^
Oh what could have been SuPearls would have crushed many of the current girl groups JYP may have laid the curse on them by saying they must fade into legend which is what happened there may be a chance in the future I would love to see it happen
I do think they would be pretty good if they debuted as a group. Their voices actually complement each other really well. Either Su Pearls original or all 6 together. Wouldn't really bother me with how good all of them are. :D
i don't understand why you got so many thumbs down its a well known fact lee hi went on a diet >.> and yes if the girls all were signed as a group they most def would have had to loose weight because a)sex appeal b)endurance c) for possibilities of modeling,CF,sponsership. idols have to be top notch the kind of people everyone wants to look like

i agree with u except with the part about TVXQ. honestly TVXQ sound more incredible today than ever becuz today BOTH members, especially changmin, have proved to have incredibly distinct and powerful vocals. go listen to their Tone and KYHD ballads and u will understand what i mean. the 2 members have been recently praised by Japan's greatest senior vocal group the Gospellers for their amazing and heavenly vocals. no one can match changmin's range and purity or yunho's touching and tender notes
