When you launch at high RPM with a diesel engine ( a lot of torque ), you let the clutch fast or a little bit slow. I have a M57D30 and I want to know how to launch safe.
in between i'd say, launching at high rpm isn't good for your clutch either way, letting it too slow will make your clutch slip a little, letting it out too fast puts too much pressure on it
personally i allow the car to move from a stop normally, and then floor it when disengaging the clutch. remapped diesels will go through clutches and maybe even shafts if youre clutch dumping
