No plastic over concrete. So now stuck to bottom of tub. What if need to remove for repair? And never get into tub. Doing so defeats the support with concrete
I was taught to put a spacer for the tile and wonder board when installing a jacuzzi, but One job a fake contractor installed the jacuzzi right on to the wood frame with no spacers.. I thought it was wrong and flipped out , I wasn’t removing a jacuzzi that’s been cemented in.. but then the boss said it was ok, some people install jacuzzis directly on the wood
Guy couldn't even caulk all sides. The outside wall was too close. I would love to see how the tile worked out. The tile would have had to butt into 3 sides and then sit on the top along the outside wall.

Why didn't you put spacers under the lip of the tub so the tile would run under it? Caulking a tub to plywood doesn't make much sense.

Ok Video but it does not show any protection for scratches on base before installer steps into tub.
I think that could be why the video is being downvoted Edit apparently there was plastic sheeting inside tub still cringey
dont stomp on the mans tub
