I don't think kids know just how cold this man was in the league
Dhk4 '07 Arenas was nasty af
He was a pull up shooter who could drive and finish with an amazing free throw percentage I think one of the best during his days the man could hit shot after shot and just pull up that's why he got crazy paid because the felt even through injury he would still be effective but some people tolerate pain diffentlly and arenas has 200 mill to collect so f it retire with the wheels u got.
He was only good for like 3 seasons and Lebron shit on him in the playoffs.
Agent 0 was insane in his prime.
He would be MVP in this decade🏀🏀
Gilbert you need a bigger platform my brother this breakdown was masterful.
Esau Abdul-Adl
Dam sure was!
Yeah, he and Kobe should do Details together..
go to his youtube. No chill productions
Hell yea
Nah
Damn Gilbert is a maestro explaining this shit, and relevant, he had one hell of a jump shot from anywhere.
Intel-Pick these clowns questioned his ball iq before but now he’s insightful. What a joke nba fans are.
Freddy Calipari nba fans are the worst they only with players when they’re dominating but when they fall off they hate them or if they’re dominating too long they hate them still but if they where dominating but injuries or something else got in the way of them being able to perform then they love them 😂
Bruce Lee nothing is wrong with his name. And plus I’ve heard and seen worst names.
Bruce Lee what's your name though?
Freddy Calipari Agreed!!! I’m convinced 80% of NBA fans are casuals who Google/ RUclips everything and think they Basketball Guru’s!!!!!
Gilbert explained exactly why he is struggling offensively right now, it's so easy to guard him
Gilbert’s jumper in his prime was a dead eye
On his IG he's still lethal
He was Steph before Steph
Damion Ellis what you mean
Not really. Just took a ton of shots...he was a decent shooter
The Fantabulous JalaPeña he means he caused NBA defender's a lot of problems BRUH agent zero was no joke
Gilbert broke this guy down... wow good vid
His shot affects why the coach takes him out of the game in the 4th quarter. This is discussing his game.
This was the best analyzation of balls game I heard yet. Finally somebody gets it. Thanks Agent Zero. Pause
Edouard LeLardasse nah it was just “analyzation of balls” that sounded pretty gay
Chris Rodriguez Chris Rodriguez i didn't think of it as gay whatsoever, yall thinking of everything gay but nobody really cares if you are
Can the lake hire agent zero to be their scout. How did the lakers draft a guy with handicap with their 2nd overall pick. Sorry but if you cant shoot and cant play defense how good can you be? with assist and rebound. you just rebound your own miss field goal
He didn't provide any new criticism, at all. He literally just regurgitated everything that has been said every other day on espn, TnT, Fox, etc...
tak sze Lonzo plays defense...tf you on?
Prime Gilbert Arenas from 2005-2007 was a killa, nightmare for point guards!!!
Habib Bundu left out 08 three year run 29 30 30
Habib Bundu people forget about this guy. It was just the team he was playing for: Bullets...um, I mean the Wizards 😉
Habib Bundu big facts.. he played bigger than he was.. fearless
He was a nightmare in locker rooms because he exercised his rights to bear/brandish firearms when teammates don't pay their gambling dues 😭
Hibachi knows his stuff. I miss prime Gil
Dukes Verrill same
Fucking GOAT
Damn shame that locker room blunder ended his career prematurely. I remember the wizards used to give The Cavs problems lol
Donavan McDabb his knee was gone 2 years earlier.... if he was still the hibachi he wouldn’t have gotten traded lol.
Best explanation ever.
Jerry Yu il
I hope lonzo takes this advice and uses it. Gilbert is 100% correct.
Gilbert should be a coah somewhere. He's right about lonzo...Just watch highlights on you tube, he does exactly what Gilbert is saying every time. Lonzo needs to understand his dad may be knowledgeable about some things in basketball but the NBA a pros league and you can't get away with just knowing a little you have to be a pro change what isn't working and quick.#facts
Allen Davis lonzo gotta adapt
Very true #Lakeshow
This no longer had anything to do with his dad. His dad said magic and them can teach him because at this le el he can't. Lonzo is gonna struggle offensively this year. The Lakers and every one else knows this. Next year and year 3 will be a different story. When that shot falls he is gonna be he'll for teams to deal with. We have already seen the passing and rebounding plus the ability to get steals and blocks. His potential is REALLY HIGH. Its just the shot. You can live with it this season as this is to see what you have and attract star players. Next year his shot will probably be faster
He'll unfortunately never be a coach he's been blacklisted by the league for the whole gun thing and since it went so public he'll always get judged for it. Hibachi is dope tho
This guy is a lethal shooter in his prime🏀🔥
The best episode of OFB, drop the chairs and do more episodes in this vain. Breakdowns and in-depth analysis.
I remember when Gilbert was the best offensive PG in the league.. scoring 30 a game is natural to him and he can pull up from 30 kinda like what is steph is doing. Agent Zero first was doing that
Alexis Mercado Gilbert Arenas was a blend of Steph and Harden before they made it to the league
Gilbert wasn’t a PG tho he’d tell you that
Alexis Mercado word
Alexis Mercado FACT!!!! Arenas pull up game was crazy!!!!!
Adrian Flores yeah. BRICKING
Gilbert's shooting form was wet af
pause
I went to a rival high school when Gilbert was with Grant. I watched him play against us and he outscored our entire team one game. My poor useless friend had to guard him lol. Gilbert was a monster for many years.
Get lethal shooter to work with lonzo and it’s lights out
Dylan Gray yea we know he's a shooter
Karpov Liam he’s helped work on nba players jumpshots before moron
Dylan Gray bro he shoulda been coached from the time he was a kid. I learned basics in 6th grade. This happens when you have a presumptious dad who never let his son be coached. B.E.E.F. any good coach knows what that is and taught it. Fundamentals are everything. Balance. Elbow in. Eye on the target. Follow through.
Eli Ramirez or maybe he stuck with a shot that worked in high school and college only now it doesn’t work in the nba
Dylan Gray he relied on dads reputation so he was never corrected. He relied on althletic ability that was only good enough to get him to college level to your point.
this video souldve been named LONZO BALL EXPOSED
lol
Nothing new that hasn't been said....
THOTimus Prime Lol, right? Not exactly an expose.
😂😄😭😂😄😭😂😄😭
Nothing new but he did explain it from almost a professor classroom perspective.

Damn Gilbert, you just gave the entire blueprint of how to defend Lonzo, good job and well said...

James Mills I caught that reference! 😂. Her or Ave...
Joey
Gilbert's most famous shot attempt occurred in the locker room.
They need a segment of Gil just teaching basketball moves and explain basketball moves and such
Zo’s biggest flaw in shooting the ball is he doesn’t have the ball secure immediately off the bounce with all 10 fingers especially his shooting hand. It’s almost always a different finger pattern. It’s the most important fundamental habit in shooting the basketball...you missed that Zero 🤷🏻♂️✌🏼
Great breakdown! I am a die hard Laker fan and played ball myself. I always felt like his shot would not transfer to the NBA. His shot will always be a problem, especially in the Playoffs!
Man just exposed lonzo
Put this man back in the league.
My guy Gilbert got the Paranormans on 🔥🔥🔥🔥
"You gotta member" 6:48 lol I like that one
Someone needs to forward this to Lonzo 😂
GILBERT NEEDS TO BE A HEAD COACH! THIS IS GOOD STUFF!
Enjoyed this breakdown.
Man Gil you out here dropping gems
Maan i remember when Gilbert was one of the coldest guards in the league!!
Wiz fan here. I think Gil was one the best Wizards/Bullets ever. Good vid Gil get a channel I will subscribe.
Wish I could have seen this dude play
Wish my man Gilbert Career was longer one of my favs of all time💯
Figures that Gilbert is so knowledgeable about shooting lol
Respect to him for dropping 60 tho, damn
GilZero was such a Scoring Machine.
that's not the only shot Gilbert can fix.
hoteerz W😂😂😂
Man Gilbert really knows shooting and basketball. I am totally impressed with his analysis and knowledge. I have a new found perspective for the guy.. He is right on about Alonzo’s shot.
He has a video on RUclips where he shoots from mid court, shots after shots and just won’t miss. Go check it out.
A basketball ain’t the only thing Gilbert likes to shoot
Julius David That's so L
ajajjaj
Oh no!😂😂😂😂😂😂

Dog act
The best episode!!!! Short, to the point, and no Mia!!! Dope
This they best segment since they been on air lmao
how lonzo let him self get into the nba with that shot especially with how arenas breaks how how limiting it makes his game is mind blowing
Because when they sweep their feet they go back straight. Lonzo doesn't sweep his feet, if he sweeped his left foot he'd be parallel. Him sweeping his feet right puts him off balance and further away from the basket because of his hand placement. In most cases if you fix a guys foot placement thier shot improves drastically.
Easily the best breakdown of Lonzo's shot that I've seen. Gilbert should be an assistant coach somewhere.
"I play with guns" Gilbert arenas
Solid content guys, really enjoyed this!
This was insightful. Show is still trash, so I gotta leave that dislike lmao
Rickyfromthe6 😂
Rickyfromthe6 😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
Lol 😂 same 😂😂😂
Lmfaooooo
Good breakdown by Arenas. What's telling -- for anyone who grew up playing pickup games at school and parks -- is that Lonzo's evolution likely didn't involve bigger and better and rougher competition in pickup games as he learned the game. Lonzo, with his height and athleticism as a point guard, got away with a lot because of a lack of competition. Even at UCLA, he had a lot of scorers on that team and he could pick and choose his scoring opportunities, so of course he was going to have good stats. In the NBA, you can't just hide offensively like he tried to do early in the season. I don't know if ya'll remember him standing at half court most of the time, like at UCLA, but Luke and Magic told him he had to be more involved. But he is no go-to scorer, no creator, no finisher, which is why he shoots an abysmal 35.8% from the field. I said Lonzo Ball and Josh Jackson had the biggest bust potential of any top rookies from their draft class, and I'll stick to that prediction. Those two lived off intangibles in college, but you can't do that in the NBA unless you're freakishly good at, for example, rebounding. Rodman, for example, was an exception, a freakishly good rebounder and defender. Lonzo is not a freakishly good at anything.
I remember Gilbert Arenas missed the game wining free throws.... Lebron said if u miss these thats game😂😂😂 and he missed both of them
Wildarius Holder lmao i know thats haunts him too
He had to pay his debts off
That's not how it really happened but that's what people remember. Gil had already missed the 1st one before LeBron came up. Fact is he was going to miss it no matter what
Man don't bring that shit up I'm still mad
johnnycage435 😂😂😂
Where's out of bounds show? I love that show!
“The struggle is more of the mechanical of his whole breakdown” wut
Leave it to one of the best clutch shooters to educate a young player on bettering his jumper. Much love to Agent Zero.
I'll never watch y'all show. But good video.
AGENT 0.....THANK FOR YOUR TIME IN DC....NEVER HAD SO MUCH EXCITEMENT....MY MAN!!!!!
Let me translate what Gilbert is saying about Lonzo.
"This nigga is fucked"
Not to mention the time dynamics in flicking it across the body
Nigga....Nash and Kobe needa just be like fuck Lavar and go help out lonzo with his shot and any other niggas like agent zero who could really help lonzo's form
He said he's gotta fix his stance and follow through to fix his jumper.. just proves that even the pros don't know what they're talking about at times.
right handed shooters turn(angle) their feet, not just left handed shooters
Jason Nguyen he's saying usually. Usually, most right hand players don't angle.
He's saying usually leftys typically have a more severe angled stance.
but every great shooter turns their feet either before or during their shot
No, not usually, most shooters turn, its actually one of the key component of a good shot, because it allows your elbow to be on the center of the rim without tension in your neck.
This 10 toe to the rim is something that dates from the origins of basketball when people did push shot with both hands.
Its a shooting myth that just stayed around.
And shooters that don't turn before the shot do it in the air.
Arenas is just wrong on that part.
Brqinstorm Exactly! I am a right handed shooter and the moment I started tilting my feet, it changed everything. Straight pointing feet has been proven wrong plenty of times.
I watched a pod caste with arenas in it. He for sure changed my perspective of the game.
LONZO'S SHOT IS BROKEN BECAUSE HIS DAD, STARTED LETTING HIM SHOOT LONG JUMP SHOTS WHEN HE WAS TOO YOUNG AND NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO SHOOT LONG SHOTS, HE IS MOSTLY PUSHING THE BALL INSTEAD OF SHOOTING IT. IT'S A PROBLEM THAT GONNA BE HARD TO SOLVE. HE BEEN DOING THIS SINCE HE WAS TODDLER
JomoDaMusicMan you did that too?
My younger brother, had a broken shot, he was always watching me, hit the long jumper, he started trying to shoot it and was not strong enough so he was pushing & throwing the ball towards the basket, not shooting it. u cannot have form throwing the ball, therefore they call it a broken shot today
JomoDaMusicMan oh wow. Are you sayin Lonzo throws it up like your brother? does he have any hope at changing his shot?
YES, he throws it up like my lil brother, and yes, it's going to be very, very hard to change his shot or what u call, fix his shot. He needs to go see Down Town Brown, or Reggie MIller OR maybe RAY RAY, WHO MAY BE EASIER TO GET in touch with
Certified Finest: Do u have a jump shot, that needs to be fixed, if so, I could work with u, on your jump shot. u didn't start trying to hit that jumper when u was too young, did u?
Gilbert Arenas is probably my favorite player to watch since Earl the Pearl Monroe who took games over in their day.
Lonzo’s jumper is so bad it makes Kevin Martin’s jumper look wet
Rj Gamboa u clearly don’t know what you’re talking about cos Kevin Martin was a good shooter
Kevin martin jumper IS wet????
Martin was a 40% 3pt shooter and a 90% FT shooter.
Idiots don’t realize KMart had a bad shooting form and getting mad at you
dchamp9396 idiots like you don’t realize the difference b/w a “wet jumper” and “shooting form”...smh
Gilbert knows his stuff. That was an excellent breakdown of Lonzo’s shot.
Lonzo is a 1970s baller
Daisaun White With a haircut from the Simpsons cartoon
Daisaun White
dat shit was funny...
Give Gilbert more segments like this
Soooo let me get this straight... Left handed shooters should tilt their feet but right handed players shouldn't? How is it possible that James Harden can pull up going to his right then? So much misinformation going on in this video I can't take it haha.
ShotMechanics yea i’m a righty and i use a turn and i’m a good shooter tha important kinda mess me up 😂
i dint get the feeling he was saying what they should or shouldnt do, i thought he was stating what the successful ones do. he mentioned harden, but chris bosh is another example too.
name a lefty in the nba that properly squares up and is a good shooter
s ll not many righty’s that do either haha.. Steph, KD, Klay (although less so), Ray Allen, Paul George, and the list goes on and on lol... The list of good shooters who square (righty or lefty) is pretty short.
Because he steps back and a lefty going right stepping back with his right hand is wayyy quick then a right handed player doing it, I played ambidextrous shoot ambidextrous and even triple threat ambidextrous, most of not like every player that’s right hand at least starts straight face and even has a dip, left handed players are more tilted and don’t have any dip most of the time
He improved drastically in year 2 with his shooting percentages. I expect big big things in year 3 in NOLA this is his chance to break out like he looked like he was doing before his injury
1:51 PAUSE
Abdurrahman Abdi 🤣!!!!!!!!
Abdurrahman Abdi 😂😂😂😂🤣
Lol dude @4:45 at me was like oh we done? oh.. okay I'll just... okay
Omg I’m first!!
I clearly agree about Lonzo's shot. At the same time, Paul Pierce made a good point about Kevin Martin who used to play on the Kings. He had a funky shot that somehow dropped and could play at the pro level. I am not saying he should shoot like that, but maybe Lonzo can try some of the things that Kevin did before making the full transition to the textbook way of shooting.
This was great analysis. From a scout perspective he is 100% correct. There is going to be a limit on what Lonzo can do offensively with his current mechanics. Either something has to change, or he just has to become deadly efficient at stepbacks/drives.
If only Out of Bounds didn’t hire a failed porn star as a gimmick I would actually watch Gilbert giving out this wisdom.
Gil is underrated. Remember his 100ft 3 pointer lol. He was a beast
Can somebody send this to Lonzo's Social Media accounts, man he needs to watch this.
Excellent critique from one if the NBA best shooters. Gilbert knows Basketball. Respect
Lonzo is a left eye dominant that's one reason he brings the ball to the left side of his head... some NBA players also do it but Lonzo's shot is more obvious than the others. That shot made him a 2nd round pick and changing it will be catastrophic like what they did to Fultz. Practice and shoot a lot of hoops is what he needs.
Great insights.
Thanks for this phenomenal video.
Gilbert Arenas a legend!
Who remember Lebron battling against the wizards with Gilbert on it!! Those was some good ass games!! Agent 0 was nothing to play with! Everyone was screaming Kobe has defense and agent 0 give him 60🤣🤣🤣
" A twist, a crank and a flick" lmao..
Dead asf
While Gilbert broke down why the shot is broken, I think he also broke down why Lonzo as a player is broken. The ability to adapt and adjust when things aren’t working is key for success. Lonzo can fix his shot, but that doesn’t mean he will be an all star with just that. This is why Magic said not to tweak with his shot, Magic is gauging how Lonzo as a player, as a point guard, as a Number 2 pick, is adapting to the NBA. I think everyone is seeing glimpses of the talent, but you can’t fix what isn’t broken. The shot is a symptom, not the ailment. Lonzo’s confidence will come back. He’ll be killing it with his passing and vision. But once everything comes together, man this kid is going to be scary!
He completely told the truth about Lonzo shot as well as how to stop it. I wish Gilbert was on the lakers.
Powerful. And true.
Fantastic breakdown, Gil!
Gilbert looks like he could still buckets in the NBA today!💯
Dope analysis!!
This was an amazing breakdown video. Excellent job Gilbert Arenas!
wall shooting with right hand when driving right didn't know bout that.... I think it is good to learn to shoot with both hands depending on situation. I am righty and it comes natural to shoot with left when driving left or clockwise turnaround.
This makes complete sense...this is nt "hate" or criticism. This is intelligent basketball knowledge breakdown with a "why" behind it from a true super star experience perspective....and very fair.
Great breakdown by Agent 0!
Perfect analysis Agent 0!
I still remember how much of a fucking beast Gilbert Arenas was
That last bit is what I think is the most important part. He has to change a lot of stuff in his shot then practice it all summer so he gets it down. I would add its easier said than done but maybe in 2 or 3 seasons he can get it done.
Gilbert could have been a hall of famer. Highly skilled.
This is an amazing breakdown of Lonzo Ball's game. Thank you Gilbert Arenas for exposing this guy's lack of game. I have been saying all of this to myself all year. Lonzo is a joke. If he goes left it's for two dribbles and an attempted jumper. If he goes right, he's first going to try to pass it back to the 3-point line, or pass down low or drive to the rim. That's it. That's his offensive game. Thank you Gilbert for not making excuses for this guy or blaming his lack of success on his father. Lonzo is not an NBA player. Plain and simple. Agent Zero FTW!!
