Macarite can you elaborate on how you get to calculated this bpm transition? I’ve been trying to wrap my head around this but I haven’t seen this before. Its a really sick transition and I don’t have any experience mixing into DnB.
I love the art of DJing. I remember hitting underground raves 20+ years ago and watching in awe as DJs created amazing music from 2 records and a mixer. Then later realizing how truly talented they were after I bought my turntables and tried to do the same. Great video showcasing your talent!
@@theotuori9143 I ve bought one piece nexus 2 player ( used) also I've 2 pieces cdj 1000 mk2 as well my country salaries are low every other things expensive....

MPU for what? - No performance pads (Cues, Loops, Slicer) - No inbuilt option for hard drive. - No inbuilt Wifi streaming access. - No loop encoder, cluttered buttons everywhere. - No added Tempo Ranges, still 6/10/16/100. - No multi touch and screen glass protection. - No full track buffering (still 4-beat emergency loop). - No AC power buffering with safety-shutdown. - Small plastic Hot cues in completely the wrong place. - Doesn't accept SDXC cards and exFat, max 32GB. - Only one media USB port with 1.0A supply (was 2.1A). - Worse water resistance (Denons have coated PCBs). - 1000$ more than the SC6000 (and 1500$ than SC5000). - Rekordbox 6 encrypts your database (fear of Denon 😏). - Arrogant 'support' in their forums. Google it yourself. Btw, still great mix! ^^
And the best part is that the clubs are going to buy them anyway, since they are close to the 2000s, an easy switch, but still better, motivating the switch in the first place. I bet my "old" MCX8000 has similar processing power... Or okay maybe not. But I still wouldn't be surprised.
Fact: When you're a skilled dj you can really showcase what products can do. Key stuff aside, there is not much a pair of original XDJ 1000 cant do that these will. Bet he could do the same mix with those no problem!
@@FishFreddy new is not always a better tool, especially if you're only getting some functionality you wont use for 3x the cost. Aside from the key changing without altering the bpm that these cdjs do, you will save about $4k by buying a pair of xdj 1000 or 700, even more savings if you can get the mk1. Or just buy a traktor s4 and get it all for less than 1200 bucks.
it have the right things that were needed for live sets... a better bright screen for day gigs, better overall screen, better audio quality and the waveforms overlaped, then all the other things are just for people buying it at home, but not usefull for big set ups in parties. I think it will remain as standard for many years.
So is the CDJ 3000 the new updated release from the CDJ 2000nxs2 or will there be a CDJ 2000nxs3? Also what about the DJM900 will there be an upgrade from that or did anything drop already? I’m new to the djing game and I’m kinda confused on the models and stuff
TRAP SOUL you could get a used one. Those things are built to last. Most cheap controllers only get used in bedrooms most of the times anyway. Used numarks go for like 100 bucks.
@@godmasterofdoom3016 The high-end stuff is yeah, very very expensive, but they are aimed at professionals though. You can still get something decent though at sort of reasonable prices, but it still depends on how serious you are. www.thediscdjstore.com/cd-mp3-usb-dj-players.html?scroll=1248
Use the roll effect on the track you wanna sample. When the 4 bar loop/8 bar loop is complete, change the effect channel to a empty channel and your sample will appear :)
I love the mix but I honestly want to know in this chat who honestly mixes like this live in the club every night and can the crowd tell the difference? I love it when DJs mix like this creating loops and using hot cues and stuff on the fly but the places I DJ at which are mostly strip clubs playing hip hop we don’t usually mix the way he does. We normally beat match, scratch and mix in the next track. The use of these effects amazes me and sounds really clean especially when remixing some songs, but I want to know who actually does this out here on a normal Friday or Saturday night?
Not sure who does this in clubs but I'm confident that most people have no clue and or do not care. Only in the small events when you can see dj on the same floor lever and see the decks people are more impressed and interested.
Been following for a while and done several of your courses, but only just come across this mix and have to say....WOW! That's the best mix I've seen you do. Just awesome. 👌👏🔥
Question and observation: Your CDJ 3000 units are represented by Channels 2 and 3.....however I noticed that there is something lighting up on Channel 4? What is your "Channel 4"?
good mix. I feel like the cdj is leaning more towards denon (at least that's what came to my mind when I first saw the 3000's). I actually still prefer the 2000's nexus over these
One of the worst days of my life was when I pawned my black m5g’s and dj3000 for drug money. And I think I just found my present to myself for 16 months clean once I get this weed drop out 😍😍😍😍

The ddj1000 is Pioneers most competitive piece of kit, have one myself great device.

That DnB transition was great with the 3/4 loop. Very impressive.
I can’t be the only one that just sits here smiling when I watch these mixes. Dude is 🔥 every time

Best transition to DnB I've ever heard.

Its a CDJ not a controller
