I love everything about this one: The Return of the Buffalo Plaid (love) and I looove that lettering style. Is there somewhere that I can find a complete alphabet of it so that I can practice it???

That lettering is based on Australia Script at www.myfonts.com/collections/australia-script-font-dhanstudio?tab=individualStyles 😄 I used it for my setup last year too, haha

I want to setup mine but I don't know what theme I want. 😕 But you inspired me.
The theme was the hardest part for me! A lot of the time I go with something "minimal" (at least in terms of doodles) but I really wanted some pops of decoration on this one 💪
My 2023 will be the first planner I have printed to tape in the year at a glance. Why I waited until it was going to be one (1) year instead of three (3) is beyond me.
It certainly saves time!
Today I bought new notebook.
And I want to try my first bullet journal!

How do you decide which yearly page goes in the daily journal and which in the yearly journal? Are you going to do level 10 life with each new daily journal? Or is it just a once a year thing? Cause I find it difficult to decide beside the obvious ones

I'm planning to add a 101 Things spread to my journal this year, but I'm struggling to come up with things to add to it. Do you have anywhere you've given ideas for it other than just in passing in set-ups?
You can look up "101 in 1001" for other people's ideas online. Those are for a longer time frame though. I normally brainstorm with things I've wanted to do for a while, or things I want to try/buy/celebrate 💜
Ahh the infamous and beautiful buffalo plaid returns. This is such a good design to just sit down and do while watching something or listening to a podcast. Between your videos and the Discord Team being enablers, I'm further ahead in my 2023 spreads than my December 2022 spreads 💀

Quite a few 😂 They're linked in the description, but it's a combination of the Microns, Paper Mate Ink Joy, and Artline Calligraphy pens
Can you post the dimensions like what the thirds quarters are like what number you drew the Lines at thinking of making one

Vertical spacing:
38 boxes down
Half: break between 19 | 20
Thirds: break between 12 | 13, 13 | 14, 25 | 26, 26 | 27 (the three page segments have a 1 row space between them)
Quarters: break between 2 | 3, 11 | 12, 20 | 21, 29 | 30 (the page has a 2 row space at the top for a header)
Horizontal spacing:
26 boxes across
Half: break between 13 | 14
Thirds: break between 8 | 9, 9 | 10, 17 | 18, 18 | 19 (the three page segments have a 1 column space between them)

Haha probabaly, but I like the hand drawn look and I don’t reeeeally have any craft stores near me 😛 by the time I decided this was what I wanted to do, it was too late 😝

I've got to ask, why do you keep pulling off new bits of washi for your lines? You've already pulled off pieces half spread and full spread size. So why don't you just reuse them? It seems like a waste of resources.
If you use the washi for masking, the ink gets on the washi and is still wet, and will get on the page if you try to re-use it.
I think there’s a different between waste and use 😊 this was a washi that I have no intention in actually putting in my journal for decoration, so I’m making use of it in this way 👍 as deniserhk said, when you go over it with the pen, the ink beads up on the surface meaning if I were to reuse it, I’d be more likely to smudge red ink onto the page which would kind of defeat the point 😝
@@JashiiCorrin thank you for answering this. I've seen you use the same washi over again, so I didn't know if there was a specific reason you did it with that one and not this one. Obviously if you're not going to use it for decoration, then it's a good way to use it up. I just wondered.
I am finding it very hard to find a bullet journal set up ..... a very simple one for a christian, prayer section, habit tracker etc, loved your 5 simple ways to start bullet journalling, could you do some christian examples, as many as you can possible source please as I think all your videos are ggggggreat and have taken many ideas for my bullet journal but am struggling with 2023 christian journal, don't know if you believe or not but hope you can take on this challenge and help me out.
Hi Suzanne 😄💜 glad you like the videos 🥰 as I’m not Christian, I don’t think it’d be appropriate for me to make layouts related to that, but I know Rylee Autumn has done some prayer and religion related layouts in her setups. Might be worth checking over there! (In the setups she does for her own journal, rather than for her customers)

Seems that you’re not alone, but I like to think of it as used rather than wasted 😊 not really a design (or level of stickiness) that I would use in my journal for decoration.
@JashiiCorrin fair. I spent longer than I'd like to admit trying to get a washi to unravel properly and still couldn't throw it out, so I'm just irrational 😆
lol I feel you on that, I have those ones in my washi "f*ck it bucket" 😂
The washi tape habit is a red flag for me.. I observed that you can definitely draw a straight line without the washi tapes, so why use it? 🙄
The level of straightness that I wanted for those headers in particular was more so than the straightness I can get from freehand 😊 while the freehand looks straight (enough) on camera, the washi tape ones are notably cleaner and straighter in person 👍
