Hi, Ash! Content creators could stand for customers once in a while and boycott showcasing the preorder releases until GW sort this problem out. Only scalpers are benefiting from this appalling situation. Most LGS had to refuse orders from loyal customers solely because they won't have enough boxes. To be clear, I'm not blaming you personally, but taking advantage of your channel's reach to voice my concern and frustration about this lack of union and commitment between content creators and the viewership. The GW customers are the majority of wargaming hobby content viewers and should receive some consideration and respect in this regard. Great video as always, though. Cheers.
Spot on Pablo. I've been unsubscribing from RUclipsrs who keep covering these products I can't buy. Not because its their fault - as it isn't - but because I simply don't want to repeatedly see content for products I can't purchase. Albeit I have seen some other RUclipsrs gloating over them getting a copy whilst the customers can't.
why would they? its free content., sure they can say that ''they hope we can get a copy'' or whatever but in the end its free content. they are used by geedubs for free advertising and in return get a free copy and free content. in the end it is every man/company for himself , and if im not doing it somebody else will . because that is how this world and society works. geedubs don,t care, free copies, scalpers, high prices, low quantities and low stock we will buy their stuff anyways so in the end we are to blame.
@@redsampler2017 I'm not blaming the model practice. I'm complaining about the lack of commitment of the content creators when their own viewership is affected by a disingenuous act from GW. A lack of reaction and critic when customers are misled and/or misinformed. Why push this box at Warhammer Fest if nobody would be able to get it is one of many late examples. It is a deliberate decision of GW to push products even when they can't keep up with the demand.
@@pablosimones i already know what you mean , because you said that,🙂 i just pointed it out from the content creators point of view, they don,t care, just like geedubs don,t care. free advertising, free content ,everything free except for the customers who want to buy the products they pay tru the nose IF they can actually get one. they have a monopoly position at this point and we keep making that happen time and time again. next month 10th will be sold out in hours as well, yet everyone keeps buying their products i do, you do, we all do. so who,s fault is it then? to be clear. im not subscribed to any of these channels in the first place, subscriptions have to be earned because of content not of begging by the owner of said yt channel. if they get free stuff to review i hold them to an even higher standard because then they have to be honest as well and 99% of them fail miserably. so why would you expect commitment? the only commitment they care for is themselves and their content.🙂 its nothing personal to you or anything my dude, i was just curious on why do people seem to think that content creators care other than about themselves and the money/attention making business. i would be ashamed for uploading vids for free products for free content about products you know most people can,t get. and yet they keep doing it anyways. so why would they work together, if they can,t think about it on their own.?
Really appreciate your reviews. I know you catch some flak from folks, but seeing this got me calling around to local stores and I got a box and will enjoy it. So, please, keep doing what you do! 😊
Now I was disappointed as much as the next gamer that this sold out as quick as it did, gonna chalk it up the 10th Edition pulling resources (and scalpers), but unlike previous boxes this doesn't seem to be a limited edition- as there still an option to register for stock notifications at various game stores. In the meantime I'm just gonna enjoy this video for what it is and hopefully stock issues at GW resolve after the 10th Edition Leviathan release.
This isn't a new problem for GW. Once 10th ed releases the community is going to invent some other excuse as to why these things sell out almost instantly. The truth is that it's not in GW's best interests to fix the problem, in fact this is a problem a lot of manufacturers would love to have. Which do you honestly think they prefer? Instantly selling out of almost everything and being able to report to their investors that they can't even keep product on shelves, or to pay the warehousing costs for a product that doesn't sell just to keep a few customers from complaining. People keep coming back to buy their products, so clearly this isn't costing them customers, so why should they care that their products are consistently selling out and making them a tidy profit. Don't expect to see a made to order or other re-release of this set. It performed exactly how they wanted it to perform, now they are only interested in over-hyping next weeks pre-order to ensure it also sells out. The ONLY product I would expect some kind of made to order if it sells out on is the 10th edition base set. It's their biggest range, if they piss off too many customers there then they might lose them from the treadmill, especially with Grimdark Future, Star Wars: Legion, and even Mantics Firefight waiting in the wings. Better yet they can ride in waving their banners saying "Don't worry, this will go made to order and everyone who wants a copy will get a copy" and the community will cheer and praise them for listening to their customers and it will generate a ton of good will that they will almost immediately start siphoning off with shitty practices. That is the one that counts. This is a nothing release. A time filler before 10th ed and their new Kill Team season treadmill starts. They don't give a shit about it or the people that want a copy, they just needed something on shelves to keep the hype train going.
I actually just found all my 54mm INQ stuff! I was thinking it would be fun to do a #_TBT game in that scale and then switch over to 28 for a mini campaign or something.
Damn, If I hadn't bought all those Chaos minis I'd buy this set. Looks really cool and I kind of want it, but since I already have most of the mini's I'll probably skip it... Lol, it already sold out anyway...
I was able to snatch a copy from my FLGS but only in Spanish, I went for the English one first but it disappeared in an instant. I can’t complain though, but still, already missing out on Gallowfall sucked so I know the feel
Seems like the only people who get these new releases are RUclipsrs who get a free box to review / hype up and then the ebay scalpers - hopefully you raffle this off to your patreons or something and give back to your community
The hobby is great, Games Workshop is a joke. Look at other companies, get a 3D printer, there are ways you can participate without giving them attention and money.
@@zethnarthat’s basically is where I’m at with it. GW miniatures are nice but it seems they are turning into a “collectors” miniatures company, not a game company. There is a vast world of really great 3D prints out there now and systems like OPR to use them in without needing a library of game related books.

Ashes of Faith - you can look, but you can't touch 😂
Yup gone in a flash
Seems to have sold out before sales even opened
All the boxes where wasted on channels like this one
Sounds like a cool game. Wonder if it will ever be available to the public!
shame no can buy this either...

Thanks Ash for a great preview as always. Good to get an overview of all the contents so I cam decide if it is worth tracking one down.
Thanks for reviewing this. Experience suggests lots of people have or will get a copy over the coming weeks.
That’s nice dear. I can’t get a copy for live nor money.
While you’ve got the box you better show a campaign 6parter. It’s gonna be the only way most of us will get to experience it.
Oh! I see you were one of the 12 people who actually got a copy of the game!
Cant buy it anyway. Was gone in seconds so sick of this.
Wow, another product i can't buy from games workshop. Thanks for the video of a product i cant get
I dont understand how you can market a game that you are not going to sell.
