This was a great video Erica. A few mins before I started watching it I was thinking about my business insurance and that it's about to expire and all of a sudden I started fealing fearful about someone suing me. So crazy the thoughts that pop up. Your video provided some calm.
I do agree that you have to learn “on the job” as you run your business. I learned how to file my LLC in NY because I didn't want to pay a $1,000 to get it done and now I'm about to file a new one in my new home state. It’s a different process, but I feel more confident having done it once before. I really appreciate you content Erica. ❤
These are always good videos to watch. After I got over my cold my lack of motivation just seemed to linger on weeks after. I started realizing about 4 days ago that I was actually just needing a break. Trying to build your own business is so difficult. One small thing that happened recently, and I'm sure was a small part of my motivation issue, was my Instagram was doing really well. I was reaching 700 accounts per day and then suddenly it dropped back down to 10 accounts, and it's been that way for over 3 weeks. Types of posts, timeframe, frequency, and hashtags hadn't changed. This is why social media is not a reliable source of income or advertisement. Anyways, I am starting to get my motivation and I think I just needed a break to reset.
I really needed this video and it came at the perfect time. I'm so close to launching, preparing final things.

Long story short helped my dad start his business when I lived in NY no problem, here in CT , got my LLC called the Secretary of State who gives you the form , they’re response call a lawyer , I’m like no this is on the LLC form , they said nope call a lawyer I went back and forth and totally felt like I suddenly didn’t know how to read 😅 English & creative writing were both my specialties lol , 1 question and it took me 2 weeks 🤣 to be like ohh after someone offered help , but it’s a hard state to afford or receive help without paying 2 yrs worth of rent to get a question answered , getting business insurance was insane they heard room sprays and said nope , 3 different places turned me down finally I was like yay I got it , but even when I said I would drop room sprays they were like nope & hung up 🤣 it’s crazy here every single thing is $$$$ I don’t think I’ve made as much as I’ve spent yet 😅, I wanna go back to NY lol but I could go on forever, thank you for this it’s all so very true and there are still days when I’m like “I don’t know this” 😅 forever learning

hey Erica ! I've been watching for a while and you have helped me so much progressing forward and I've run into an obstacle moving forward that I can get slightly irritated to the Fragrance oils. My throat will just get slightly irritated but I'm guessing that I'm just asking if its normal for candle makers to have any reactions to the FOs and if its something that could hold me back ?
