      Just give it some time , I’m sure they’ll come out with a light like the DML809 for XGT. I’ve been wanting to get one myself actually 2 but I never see them on sale .

    I would be very interested in a review of HiKOKI‘s RB36DB which is a small handheld blower running on 36V, very similar to Makitas little 40V blow gun. Only difference is that they’re a wildly different shape and that the HiKOKI is not as overpriced: only 9000¥/70€ vs the 150€ I‘d currently be paying for the AS001G.
    A review of the two brands‘ 36/40V handheld vacuums and comparison to Makitas 18V vacuum would also be really great.
    I feel like I’d get out more tool options if I expanded to HiKOKIs 36V battery since it also powers their 18V tools, rather than buying the ultra expensive 40V Makita battery system, with half (or more) of the tools only being premium versions of tools I’m already content with.

    I like my Mikita gear, especially with the OPE but Mikita dragging the chain on work lights again… cmon Mikita!

    I still don’t understand why those bloody lamps are so damn expensive.

    Still waiting on that electronic clutch comparison between the drills.

    1100 lumens is pretty abysmal, it's like their older DML 805. I have the 3000 lumen DML 811 and I would absolutely not go any weaker.

    A track adapter for a 40V Makita 165mm circular saw??

    I've got the AEG worklight that sits on a similar sort of frame and is a fraction of the cost with more functionality (has these handy hooks that extend out and can remove the light from the frame if required). I love makita tools and have been migrating from AEG slowly but don't understand how makita can justify the pricetag for this product.

    Nice camping light when you get that many hours on the lowest setting :))

    Yeah.. the 10,000 lumen 36v light Is pretty great. Also the power cord. The runtime stinks. I think that would work great in a tent if you were camping.

    Hi Tools, did they give you a 5 year warranty on this work light? Spoken twice now to makita and they say my XGT work lights are considered accessories and should only get 1 year.

      In NZ "All cordless skins" 5 year warranty if registered within 30 days. 3 years after 30 days.

    This light make no sense. I have 12V Milwaukee lights that are probably 1/4 of the size and put out 1000 lumens.

  • @kevinmunz
    @kevinmunz 2 года назад

    Hard to justify getting this when you can get a 3k lumen Ryobi light for $50 in the states. Really wish they would make their lights more affordable. At the end of the day it's a light, there's not really going to be any performance difference between brands.

    i just use a small spot light with a wire into milwaukee batteries, 40v has a safety so cant run it on just two wires
