Steve was indeed incredible and revolutionized UK horse racing before he arrived nobody rode with just the ball of their foot in the irons which gave him a low aerodynamic attack and of course he was simply superb riding from the front always got the fractions just right

I knew only one horse had been second in all three legs of the triple crown, but Thought it was Sham (Behind Secretariat) and would have gone all or nothing on a quiz show ! So it was Alydar Im not sure how I didnt know as I was a Cauthen nut .. Then again I would only have been a small lad and who remembers the second apart from the owner .. Great stuff. I love these Rishi and Steve interviews. They're both so enthusiastic and respectful .. They clearly love the game and it shows in their hanging off every word their interviewees say Great viewing.. Great memories.. How nice of Steve to mention Robert Street who rode a few winners on second strings, but was more importantly a vital and indispensable cog in the Hills machine..
