I've seen a lot of those desk set up tours and I always have a one question in my mind while watching those "what do you guys do to need so much gadgets to work". Atlough I get it how cool it is to work where you have a nice desk.
It isn't about practically needing them, as you say it is more about having a pleasant experience working space, that makes you enjoy your workflow. Same shit as having colorful and cool workplaces for bigger firm. And because you can put all these stuff on company/business expenses, you pay them way cheaper, so their value per cost get way up. Especially cause you can also enjoy them when you aren't actually working
They need so many gadget so they have something to film to make us want to buy those products. This video has over 1.6M views in less than a year. I'm sure that has resulted in a lot of sales of desk mats and mechanical keyboards. IMO mechanical keyboards would not even be a thing if every YT "influencer" wasn't telling us how much a clickty clackity clunky ugly chunk of plastic would change our lives. Don't get me wrong, I love these desk tour videos and have watched hundreds of them. But I am able to control my impulses to buy a bunch of stuff I don't need just because I saw it on YT.

I have recently bought that Kingston dock. It's awesome. I actually use it with my Samsung T5 and T7 SSD drives. Those drives are too small for the dock. But I designed little _"adapters"_ with the outside size that matches a regular Kingston module and a hole that matches the size of my Samsung drives. No more risk to breaking the USB-C connectors or my drives.

People have got to realise that if you give an opinion about a product that is a dust magnetic, heres a wake up call, EVERYTHING GATHERS DUST PERIOD. It's laughable with the amount of times people gives this as an opinion they don't like. Also, if you give out that something is a bit heavy, well no shit. Not sure if I'm too late but do not get a 16" MacBook Pro. I have one and I'm full of regret. The trackpad is stupidly huge and it's a constant point of frustration when my left hand is unintentionally on it. There's no reason for a trackpad to be that big.

I watch a lot of these kind of videos and most of them are pretty repetitive, but I must say you really introduced me to some new and interesting items, great job!
If I'm honest, some of this stuff seems pretty workflow specific, though the items look super useful for the right person. The light bar, though... kinda tempting, ngl. That keyboard look seriously nice though. After years of trying out mechanical keyboards, I honestly kind of gave up on them and got a Logitech MX Keys - I find it way easier to type fast on it. How do you find the low profile switches compare to a "traditional" mechanical keyboard and the MX Keys?
Been using an Evo 4 myself for a while now. Using it with my DT770 Pros and KRK Classic 5’s, however I had to get an iDefender ground eliminator since I was getting a lot of noise without it.
Highly recommend the Nuphy Keyboard with the red switches. I’ve been using it non-stop since I got it a few months ago. Nice slim profile and feels fantastic to type on.

Any issues with the light bar causing glare on your curved monitor? Their Amazon page says it will cause glare and interfere with its usability.
People have got to realise that if you give an opinion about a product that is a dust magnetic, heres a wake up call, EVERYTHING GATHERS DUST PERIOD. It's laughable with the amount of times people gives this as an opinion they don't like. Also, if you give out that something is a bit heavy, well no shit. It's a battery pack and that ain't never going to be light. If it was light then you only be complaining about something like it doesn't stick well to the desks or some bullshit like that. I say this cause these aesthetics opinions are absolutely pointless to be giving and really focus on tell the watchers what is good and bad from the performance. Not that of it gathers dust and is heavy, which is just about every review I ever see on products on YT. Actually laughable

Not sure if I'm too late but do not get a 16" MacBook Pro. I have one and I'm full of regret. The trackpad is stupidly huge and it's a constant point of frustration when my left hand is unintentionally on it. There's no reason for a trackpad to be that big.

Good video. When I look at your desktop and taskbar, it makes me think that you obsess more over physical accessories, more than your machine setup and usability. Highly suggest optimizing your machine for performance if you haven't already.

The intro was incredibly bad. Whatever you were doing tapping random things and scratching that cable, then the transition to a bunch of random cuts that looked it was meant to induce a seizure, almost made me close the video immediately.

A simple option with the lamp to make it smart is to buy a philps hue smart plug and link it that way to the Google home assist

LOL....Audio technica M50s or 40s are not for gaming ....they have like no soundstage at all.
If I'm honest, some of this stuff seems pretty workflow specific, though the items look super useful for the right person. The light bar, though... kinda tempting, ngl.
That keyboard look seriously nice though. After years of trying out mechanical keyboards, I honestly kind of gave up on them and got a Logitech MX Keys - I find it way easier to type fast on it. How do you find the low profile switches compare to a "traditional" mechanical keyboard and the MX Keys?

Been using an Evo 4 myself for a while now. Using it with my DT770 Pros and KRK Classic 5’s, however I had to get an iDefender ground eliminator since I was getting a lot of noise without it.

Highly recommend the Nuphy Keyboard with the red switches. I’ve been using it non-stop since I got it a few months ago. Nice slim profile and feels fantastic to type on.
I feel like the lights at the edges are distracting. 😅
