Can you do a video on how you attached and ran the wires for the garmin transducer on your boat? How you connected...to battery or fuze box etc from console... Did you need an extender? I have seen videos where they say it is a little easier on right side but with the 16 XL there isnt a place on right side pontoon...only left....
I'm very jealous of this whole thing. This is exactly the boat I want. Really nice upgrades. It's nice to see someone so happy with their purchase. Theres very few videos of the 16 footer. I can't imagine needing anything bigger. Don't go too long without posting a new one. You're doing a great job with these!
so if the small gas tank is running low u connect the fuel line kit and siphon the fuel from large tank to the small tank yes? Also is there some kind of a fuel guage on the small tank that will tell you ur fuel status?
Shaft is 54 inches 50lb trolling motor that get ate up on windy days, just upgraded to a 70lb awaiting on that to come in praying it fixes the issue some. The pontoon turns into a kite in the wind due to the sides and if you have the top up your sailing with the wind for sure then lol
I looked in to the Garmin u have on Amazon and it clearly states that it does not come with pre installed maps and will not accept any maps from other software. I was bummed. I had to settle for a Lorance FS 9 and it cost me $1300 and i was like oh well. It is touch screen and comes with charts, maps and very user friendly. Hope it works well cause they are installing it right now. Cant wait Bruh!! Appreciate u educating us.
hey bruh. I ordered the 12 gallon tank and the universal kit u have. IS that enough? U were talking about a shut off valve and where do u buy that and what does that look like?
I just been switching them off using what came with the boat to simplify everything honestly didn’t even look for the valves but lowes or home depot sales them
Nice setup. Keep in mind with lead acid you only get about half the rated amp hours for usability. Lithium Ion gives about 90% of the rated capacity but much, much more expensive initially. Over the lifetime Lithium Ion is actually less expensive.
I love the upgrades that you did to your boat but as it pertains to your batteries and trolling motor I would really like to give you a suggestion it even for others I'm building a double hole boat right now for my brother-in-law and as it pertains to your battery dying maybe a suggestion for you is look up a product called Blue seas add a battery essentially what that does is that you wired into what's already there and as you're running your main boat engine it takes the amps from that and charges whatever battery has the lowest charge and addition your home/start battery will never go dead on you and you're not dead in the water it is very simple to hook up they give you a diagram and if anybody is interested I could possibly take a video or pictures to show you what I have done but I'm on the market for the 18 ft Bass buggy and saving up for a down payment now thank you for your video
Just picked up the beginner Garmin striker 4 fish finder. After doing some research it does everything alright for me being I am a beginner. Found those similar batteries on Walmart but the 27DC not 29. How often do you charge the batteries?
For the trolling motor I charge it up after each use for the fish finder honestly I don’t remember the last time I’ve charged that battery lol it just keeps going and going
Love your videos....just ordered the 20ft fishing barge....I need to know what the pole holders are called if you don’t mind...for some reason I can’t catch the name...and do they come with the right mounts for the pontoon boats or are the separate...thanx brotha
Can you tell me if the built in rod holders up front that came with the boat are movable or removable? I want to mount something right where they are, like a grill.
Great videos, really helped me to decide which boat to buy.
Happy to have helped

Thanks bro I will try to keep em coming, ever in Mississippi toward the delta we can get them hooks wet
I just bought mine. I love it.
Fishing cruising having fun with my grandkids. It’s great
It’s small enough to get places a pontoon wouldn’t normally get and big enough for the younger kids
Got a 23 coming. Thanks for the great info!!! Love your set up
Thanks so much for watching!
Nice 👍, can’t wait to get mine..... can u do a video how to hook up fish finder and depth finder, I’m looking at the Garman also thx

Thanks il try fam

Yes it is a gauge on both tanks to let you know… I just switch mine out when one runs out
been loving watching your vids. I highly suggest you Don't put the grill on the back by the fuel tanks.
Yeah we thought about that and said we will just bring sandwiches and chips lol mess around and we be the meat on the grill
What is the LBS on that trolling motor and how long is the shaft? Do you have any issues with that trolling motor not moving your boat in windy days?

@@lifewiththedonersons thank you for that!

Yeah I was upset when I realized I would have to create my own contour map but I been all over my lake and damn near got it all mapped lol
What size Transom Saver are you using for the pontoon? and where did u purchase if you remember
It came with my pontoon from bass pro shop I will get a measurement on it for you tomorrow
@@lifewiththedonersons ok thanks

How does the 12v TM work with your 16 foot bass buggy?
I upgraded to a 24v ipilot, so far it runs great only issue is when the wind pick up it try’s to turn the boat regardless

Yes that's right but these batteries came from Walmart with a 2 year free warranty replacement imma wear em out hahaa
Like the gas tank upgrade and the garmin upgrade
Ready to hit the lake

Holy smokes man thanks for that advice I must make this happen lol would be a even more ease of mind on the water
Did you ever find your fuel shut off valves and if so where did you get them from. Thanks we enjoy your videos!!
Once again bravo.
Appreciate the support
Nice boat ! I just ordered one and have to wait like 3 months minimum
You will love it...perfect size
@@lifewiththedonersons Does the 6 gallon stock gas tank last though the day on the water running easy ?
@@natal777 with a 20 minute ride to our area of fishing and back it last about 3 fishing trips almost 4
@@lifewiththedonersons Thank you for the info so now I see why you got a larger tank 👌 sounds like at 4 hours the stock tank would be dry for sure!
Have you ever thought about adding a solar cell and a 12 volt regulator to charge your batteries?

Did you attach the gas tank upgrade with straps? I love it I have been doing the same.
Yes I just screwed the straps straight to the floor and secured it that way, didn't want to make it a hard install

Scotty rod holders brother il try to get the link for you

@@lifewiththedonersons I appreciate it brotha

Yes you can move it it’s not welded on
Do you have to use 4 wheel drive anytime at the boat ramp.
At the ramp I have been going to I have had to use it on days after a heavy ran other than that I never use it
Thanks im getting a 20ft fishin barge and plan to pull it with my 2wd 1500 ram hopefully it will be good enough
so are you using the 55 pound thrust or did you up it to the 24 volt 70 pound thrust? I’m thinking the 55 isn’t enough?
Still rocking the 55 but will upgrade it does not put out enough thrust when the water is choppy
Next I'd like to see that stainless grill and nice ass cooler.
