Thank you so much for the shout out!! This is a great video and you have a great setup. I am happy you are enjoying your purchase! Can't wait to watch more of your videos!!
If you're looking for rebar, places like Menard's have rebar upto ¾"x 20'. A ⅝x20' piece costs under $12. Thanks for the review on this boat. My wife and I are looking to buy a 16' pontoon just to fish off of and this really helped. Also, I had a question. How does this do on whitecaps?
Im looking at one of these, my buddy is selling . His also says DLX... I've seen others that are just LX. Do you know what the D stands for? Im assuming it's an option that the LX doesn't have. By chance, do you know?
Man I really think I would enjoy fishing out of one of these. It would be as comfortable as dock fishing. I also like pan and cat fishing more than bass fishing.
that was an excellent real world (rain included!) review! im thinking of buying one but im not sure how to keep the termites from eating the deck. im in hawaii termites are a thing here.
How often do you go out fishing alone with this boat? I like the thought of being able to take friends and family out but most of my fishing will be by myself. It is cumbersome to trailer, unload and load at the ramp?
Move your transducer for your fish finder up higher. I found out the hard way if you mount it there it will drag in the sand and rock if you pull up to a beach
@joerusso5338 Boat originally came with one from suntracker but it wouldn't work with the extension I ordered from Amazon so I had to order the entire extension set from Amazon.
My only concern with doing that is having water splash into the top of the tank. My setup here is pretty rear-heavy and water seems to splash in there quite a bit.

I don't fish yet, but I like crabbing. I didn't know there were pontoon boats this small, this would be a great option for crabbing!
We love our 2020 16.. set up for fishing and hot weather relaxing
Can we be friends??? 😂 This was very helpful as we are looking to buy a 2024 model and ours is also a 16’. Not many reviews! Good job and Thank you!

That 12 gallon fuel tank will fit down in front of the motor. That will free up some room on the back deck.

If that's a scepter 12 gallon tall it's 23 inches. I measured my pan at almost 20 inches wide. I'd like to upgrade and fit in the pan.
Mine is the Scepter brand. It works for me.
