Christina Applegate was never given the credit of how good of an actress she was on Married With Children.
Gotta give props to David Faustino, he really picked up a lot of Ed O'Neill's mannerisms, to the point that Bud really seems like Al's son.
@KAOS NATION obviously, but it takes skill to pick up someone else's mannerisms to the point that you look genetically related.
You can watch a lot of shows and never see that kind of dedication to a role.

It also helped that Ed and David were good friends off screen as well. They shared the same warped humor in real life.
Rarely do I see a TV parent and TV kid that I can believe are genuinely related.
Another example that comes to mind is Tim Taylor and Randy Taylor (Home Improvement).
David was around the show with Christina since they were children... of course given the popularity and length of the show... Ed O'Neil and Katey Segal would evolve into some sort of uncle and aunt for both of them over the years.
Christina Applegate was quite the beauty.

That's one of the things I liked about the Bundys. Sure they would rip on each other left and right, but if anyone else were to try, they face the wrath of the entire family. That's how me and my 2nd ex-wife are...well except for the fact that we actually can't stand each other and encourage others to tear them down. O.k. so nothing at all like the Bundys.

The show was always a good mix of Kelly as ditzy blonde interspersed with Kelly as responsible family member. The ratio was "Just Enough" to let us know Kelly was the one that held the family together. Just plain good acting/comedy on a lot of levels. Writing, acting, concept..Just darn funny.
Bud screaming is hilarious.
The somewhat younger version of Zachary Harris' Dr. Smith from Lost In Space.

OMG this was another one of my favorites, Bud screaming at the end had me rolling on the floor laughing.
kelly may have been played as dumb but when it comes to competing against other girls she was unbeatable. I like how the characters evolved on this show with every season.

Unless you're really close to the target, especially with a recurve like that, the arrow will deviate pretty far from where you think you're aiming.
It takes a LOT of practice to get any type of actual consistency, let alone accuracy. Now, with a compound bow it's easier, like firing a crossbow.
Shooting a flaming arrow to light a candle is cool, but they do realize that the arrow was stopped by bales of hay!
I've always loved Kelly's outfits. Red was a good color for her nails and lips. Praying and sending positive vibes for Christina Applegate.
The scream was just the perfect touch.

I wonder if Mrs. Applegate learned archery for this episode or if it was already a hobby of her. However, her skills are excellent!
As an Archer I can say, that she is doing it properly. Her bow arm is perfectly in line with her elbow. Her anchor may be slightly too high for my opinion and her release is a little bit sloppy. As it is a TV Series I would keep in mind that she most likely simply have not the time to do full shots properly and especially the release can be time consuming and lame to watch for Non-Archers. If she goes to the shooting range with her skills she would be most likely quite accurate at least up to 20m. Basically she does a way better job then most actors in movies when it comes down to archery.
It's clear that they used a professional for the actual archery, but she would still have had to learn a bit about the stances and how to hold the bow--especially since she did her own "mini-stunt" wielding the flaming arrow. That wouldn't have gone well, had she not been schooled by the stunt crew, armorer and visual effects department.
