Ignorance is bliss.
I can see a few reasons to pick this up over the SN30 Pro:
- Home Button wakes the Switch up
- Offset sticks
- Larger side shapes that seems to contour to your hands better for what this controller is trying to do compared to the SNES design
I don't think the original SNES controller design lends itself too well to a modern dual stick design, especially in the style of Sony. This appears to be a more ergonomic and much more convenient controller than the SN30 Pro.

Offset sticks in this form factor is more of a con. It's much better suited to 2d games, and the dpad is in a bad place for that.
offset sticks works better if the stick is the focus otherwise it just makes getting to the d pad harder.
