Players shouldn't be going into the crowd that way... And if Ishbia doesn't give up the ball right away, & the ball is flipped further into the crowd, then Jokic should, again, let someone else retrieve the ball, not stand in front of the seats reaching for it... As for the elbowing, Ishbia looked like he was standing right in front of the seat; Jokic was in Ishbia's space, not the other way around. Basically, Ishbia had nowhere to go... Jokic is actually lucky that this was the owner of the team & not some random fan. The situation could've been much worse for him if it were a random fan...
True, but Jokic has brothers to take care of the random fans
Jokic deserved more of a penalty than the phx owner? What a beta
It’s nobody job to go get the basketball there is no job description even for the officials to retrieve lose basketballs 😂 telling a player he can’t go get a lose basketball is dumb af he a grown man
@@nbaovernfl918 And players going into the stands for any reason at all is dumb... Ishbia shouldn't have held onto the ball. Fine, his fault for doing that. Jokic giving him a chicken wing in chest/head area is not an appropriate response. This is why Jokic will be fined.
@@d.a.baracus who cares what you think is dumb that’s an opinion… there no rules against going to get the basketball to start a fast break until there is then joker actions is fair play
Again Jokic never does anything wrong and always the victim. Does anyone get more passes than him?
stay in your lane rich
Suns owner needs to be fined and banned from a game. That was total bullshit. Nice to see he's mastered the LeBron/AD flop though. Men's soccer called and they want their move back.
He flopped be real tj
They are both wrong, but Jokic more so. NBA players should not be going into the fans to grab balls. Let the refs/security handle that. Then, if you do not get your way (e.g. the ball), do not elbow the fan. The fan was in the standing space at his seat, Jokic came to him.
As a nuggets fan, they definitely need to address this, I want them to let it slide, but they should probably atleast fine jokic. But they really need to address the sun’s owner too. If not, we’re setting a very sketchy standard for how much fans can influence a game.
exactly its crazy how people dont see this
Jokic was trying to take advantage of a 5-4 opportunity. It wasn't the ref's job to get the ball. Jokic was completely within his rights to try and continue play.
Ishbia interfered with the game. Suspend him from the stadium for the rest of the offseason and take away a 2nd round pick.
"NBA players should not be going into the fans to grab balls" -- wow, you seem a bit clueless about basketball... how about taking advantage of 5-4 opportunity, ever heard about that one?
