    Bills will be fine! Went into this game a bit overconfident in their gameplans, and got shellacked. Bills weren't nervous, and they weren't dominant, just overconfident and got caught off guard. Now, that sense of uncertainty is back, which is good. Bills players will go into the game uneasy, and step up to overcome that. Josh Allen basically said "No biggie" in his postgame, which is something he has never done following a loss. I am confident that a full week of prep, plus two of their three best defensive players coming back from injury, will help bolster this team. Don't get caught up in the hype- they went from being finished to in the Super Bowl to "in trouble" in the eyes of the media in just 20 days. They're 3-1 with their three best defensive players out injured and a bunch of no-name receivers on offense.

    the 49ers conversation was really confusing. They can absolutely make the playoffs without CMC, the NFC is weak again this year and they have dominated that division. But then while showing the schedule Chris implied it was easy after the bye by suggesting 2 or maybe 3 playoff teams when I see a potential 5. Even if I think the NFC is fairly weak, they drew the entire NFC North which should be tough.

      They don’t necessarily need Aiyuk to be the kind of number one receiver that he was last season for them to be a playoff team. 3rd and Juann has stepped up and is playing like a true number two (borderline 1) and adding more deebo Aiyuk kittle and mason is more than enough to get them into the playoffs. But they need him if they want another nfc championship or sb appearance. The bottom line is that they’re playing like the team they were before last year when they ALWAYS struggled to play to their potential in the beginning of the season but they were able to get it together in the second half and go into the postseason with momentum. If cmc is back in the last part of the season and the playoffs they should be a top contender again

    2nd half!
    • Absolutely not. Garbage time reps are probably okay, but you're insane to want Maye taking meaningful snaps behind that line at this time.
    • Fields isn't the sturdiest dude, historically. So Russ might take the field with the Steelers if he were to get hurt before the trade deadline. But if not, it feels like you almost have to take the free picks someone's gonna give you to move a very replaceable Russ.
    • Yes, but even if Jameis is pretty good, Cleveland still has deeper problems and they don't automatically jump back into the playoff mix. Crazy J might bring the mood up a little, but you aren't exactly replacing Watson with someone known for their consistent QB play here.
    • Trading Tyreek back to the Chiefs would be such a catastrophically self-destructive move for rest of the league that I actually kind of want it to happen just to see the incandescent rage it would cause. 😂

    • @dfp_01
      @dfp_01 Месяц назад

      Of the major sports leagues, the NFL is the second most strict about which teams make the playoffs. The NBA sees 20 of 30 teams (66.7%) advance beyond the regular season (technically speaking, only 16 make the playoffs though); 18 of 29 MLS teams (62.1%) will play for the MLS Cup; 16 of 32 teams (50.0%) in the NHL have the chance to win a Stanley Cup; 14 of 32 NFL teams (43.8%) make the playoffs; and only 12 of 30 MLB teams (40.0%) get to compete for a Commissioner's Trophy every year.
      Even if that weren't the case, the _vast_ majority of NFL seasons end with win percentages below 70% (which, for a 17-game season, is a 12-5 record), when a C grade with a similar percentage is considered "average" by your logic. Average in a self-contained league means winning 50% of the time. I'm going to go ahead and guess that you're not a fan of 12 of the 134 teams (9.0%) in the FBS college circuit making the playoffs, even if by being better than more than 90% of their peers they would rightfully deserve an A grade.
