AR is gonna play and AR is gonna get hurt again and Joe Flacco is gonna finish up the season for the Colts -- so why worry about who starts the next game? Secret: the Colts have one off the best offensive lines in the NFL so Flacco can succeed.
Rich Eisen is such a geezer. The 49ers don’t need CMC to make the playoffs. Literally 15 other teams make the playoffs every year without CMC on their team
I wonder what Jayden’s stats would be if the Commanders had the Broncos schedule. At Seahawks, vs Steelers, at Bucs, at Jets in a tsunami. And if just gets worse. He definitely has the friendliest schedule of the rookie QBs. That said what he’s doing is still impressive, I just want to see him play some truly elite defenses in adverse conditions.
there's 2 reason daniels looks good 1. teams dont have enough nfl tape to do a game plan yet and some teams are still playing them halfass because they underestimate them here in a few more weeks when teams get more nfl tape the commanders going be back to nothings
Brockman wants Drake to just start so bad, but after I saw the hits Drake take when he was in for only a few moments in Week3, I wouldn't want him starting until Weeks 15, that OLine is miles away from being even OK. What good is his arm if he's knocked into IR?
The logic is that Anthony Richardson needs reps and experience. Therefore, the Colts will start AR until he either becomes more accurate and learns to protect himself, or he doesn’t - trial by fire.
the 49ers conversation was really confusing. They can absolutely make the playoffs without CMC, the NFC is weak again this year and they have dominated that division. But then while showing the schedule Chris implied it was easy after the bye by suggesting 2 or maybe 3 playoff teams when I see a potential 5. Even if I think the NFC is fairly weak, they drew the entire NFC North which should be tough.
bills played like crap and ravens showed up big time. bills hopefully got the wakeup call they needed. its only week 4. PS last week Rich said they were the best team in the league and after one loss "they are in trouble" lol
Flacco is like the Red Rifle. He will be great for several games then eventually gets exposed. There's a reason an old backup QB is a backup. 17 games and eventually father time wins.
Richardson getting benched should be a teaching opportunity for him - "if you don't protect yourself, we're sitting you". McCaffrey/Mason, do they need CMC? Yeah. Do they need him all the time? No. Rich says "can Mason do it for 17 games?" CMC hasn't played a full season since 2019, so maybe he can't do it either. Can San Fran get to the playoffs without him? Yeah, it definitely makes it easier to have him, but Rich's logic is broken.
I think the 49ers call is one of Brockman's bravest but it might come true -- if Shanahan can find some way to bring Aiyuk to life, SF could make the post-season without CMcC
Obviously the defense isn’t the same, but the 49ers made the Super Bowl with no McCaffrey and no Purdy at quarterback, so absolutely they can make the playoffs
They don’t necessarily need Aiyuk to be the kind of number one receiver that he was last season for them to be a playoff team. 3rd and Juann has stepped up and is playing like a true number two (borderline 1) and adding more deebo Aiyuk kittle and mason is more than enough to get them into the playoffs. But they need him if they want another nfc championship or sb appearance. The bottom line is that they’re playing like the team they were before last year when they ALWAYS struggled to play to their potential in the beginning of the season but they were able to get it together in the second half and go into the postseason with momentum. If cmc is back in the last part of the season and the playoffs they should be a top contender again
2nd half! • Absolutely not. Garbage time reps are probably okay, but you're insane to want Maye taking meaningful snaps behind that line at this time. • Fields isn't the sturdiest dude, historically. So Russ might take the field with the Steelers if he were to get hurt before the trade deadline. But if not, it feels like you almost have to take the free picks someone's gonna give you to move a very replaceable Russ. • Yes, but even if Jameis is pretty good, Cleveland still has deeper problems and they don't automatically jump back into the playoff mix. Crazy J might bring the mood up a little, but you aren't exactly replacing Watson with someone known for their consistent QB play here. • Trading Tyreek back to the Chiefs would be such a catastrophically self-destructive move for rest of the league that I actually kind of want it to happen just to see the incandescent rage it would cause. 😂 • You always have a chance to make the playoffs (and be inevitably let down once there) with Rodgers. But the Jets are a horrendously coached team rn, and that might be what holds you back.
They don't need CMC to make the palyoffs, you can make the playoffs by winning 8-10 games, teams are rewarded for winning 60% which was a D average in school......Getting through the playoffs they need him, but not to make the playoffs.
Of the major sports leagues, the NFL is the second most strict about which teams make the playoffs. The NBA sees 20 of 30 teams (66.7%) advance beyond the regular season (technically speaking, only 16 make the playoffs though); 18 of 29 MLS teams (62.1%) will play for the MLS Cup; 16 of 32 teams (50.0%) in the NHL have the chance to win a Stanley Cup; 14 of 32 NFL teams (43.8%) make the playoffs; and only 12 of 30 MLB teams (40.0%) get to compete for a Commissioner's Trophy every year. Even if that weren't the case, the _vast_ majority of NFL seasons end with win percentages below 70% (which, for a 17-game season, is a 12-5 record), when a C grade with a similar percentage is considered "average" by your logic. Average in a self-contained league means winning 50% of the time. I'm going to go ahead and guess that you're not a fan of 12 of the 134 teams (9.0%) in the FBS college circuit making the playoffs, even if by being better than more than 90% of their peers they would rightfully deserve an A grade.
I'm a Chiefs fan and I relaxed during most of the post season bc I didn't think the Chiefs could actually win. I thought the Ravens were unbeatable. I was happily mistaken.
Rich, the 49ers didn't need McCaffrey to make the playoffs for years. He's the guy they needed to take them over the top and get that SB win. Then when they got there, he fumbled the ball.
Diehard Niner fan here. Do we NEED CMC to make the playoffs? No. Not if Mason can stay healthy throughout the year, and Guerrendo, et al. can spell him nicely. Do we need CMC to win the whole thing? That I would argue is more important. I think it's going to be a hell of a lot harder to get back to the SB (and win) without CMC.

wow and Rich didn't know that? hmm werid since he's an nfl guru
@@mythrapi73 commanders is a nobody team sorry most that watches nfl dont know or care where the commanders are from or that they are only winning because rookie QB doesnt have enough nfl games for teams to plan a good game plan come back in like 3 weeks and see what is happening lol
Stupidest prediction I can come up with on the fly for next week!
After getting massacred by the division rival Bucs on Thursday, the Falcons are officially on Penix watch!
The 49ers schedule is absolutely terrifying. One playoff team after another.
Richard, to say "it takes away your soul," really? I never imagined I'd hear such a phrase from you. Cue the clowns, let them enter, and take names.
Always love the bro mance
AR is gonna play and AR is gonna get hurt again and Joe Flacco is gonna finish up the season for the Colts -- so why worry about who starts the next game?
Secret: the Colts have one off the best offensive lines in the NFL so Flacco can succeed.
I'm just happy Dak resigned with Dallas otherwise he might've been a Colt next year. Time to start Planning for Manning :)
When are we getting the Would You Rather segment?
Remember a few days ago when Rich had the Bills #1 on his power rankings
Sam Darnold. Mac Jones. Geno Smith. Tim Tebow. Baker Mayfield. It's a big transition, and there's a reason why you got that high draft pick.
mac jones don’t belong there
Rich is right in respect to the Pats starting Maye. Until the O-line can show they can protect the QB, it's too dangerous for Maye to be back there.
niners fan here. I think we can make the playoffs without CMC but cannot be the top two seeds without him.
Good intro gents
Jaden Daniel’s is having the greatest 4 game start to any career - prove me wrong
Tyreek has a Super Bowl ring already 37:30
Ya wtf they don't remember that epic wasp play😂
Tyreek has one SB ring. He was on the Chiefs when Pat Mahomes and Andy Reid won their first SB.
bills played like crap and ravens showed up big time. bills hopefully got the wakeup call they needed. its only week 4.
My prediction for over-reactions next week: Mike McDaniel is on the hot seat after a loss to the Patriots.
Rich needs one of those old school cardboard dividers they used to use in school so you don't cheat on a big test, lol
Aaron Rodgers is a Diva
Loved the CMC is a system running back take. Kittle is a system TE. Deebo is definitely a system WR.
I think the 49ers call is one of Brockman's bravest but it might come true -- if Shanahan can find some way to bring Aiyuk to life, SF could make the post-season without CMcC
Oh they definitely make the postseason any way you slice it. I doubt they'll go as far as they did last year, but you never know
Obviously the defense isn’t the same, but the 49ers made the Super Bowl with no McCaffrey and no Purdy at quarterback, so absolutely they can make the playoffs
3:33 I remember watching a fella named Jim Brown...
Jordan Mason is saving my fantasy team.
Same here.
• You always have a chance to make the playoffs (and be inevitably let down once there) with Rodgers. But the Jets are a horrendously coached team rn, and that might be what holds you back.
Tyrell Hill has a Super Bowl Ring!
Jets are 🗑️🗑️🗑️
No patriots are trash, Jets are even worse, their mediocre
No patriots are trash, Jets are even worse, theyre mediocre
They need a new HC
Nothing new 😂
Urine sample cups?
The 49ers making the playoffs without CMC isnt even worth dignifying with a response?
I was happily mistaken.
no tam is unbeatable when you got refs for mvp, but of course you being a chiefs fan will deny it happens like the other delusional chiefs fans lol
New drinking game. Anytime Rich says “flagship show” take a shot
Mike McCarthy worked for PennDot? That explains a Lot! 😂
Brockman wishes the Bears had taken Daniels now, after being on the Williams bandwagon before the season… 😂
He's a hypocrite!
@@bradleymiller7375 nope
Williams is fine. Going at a normal rate of improving each week. Daniel’s cannot keep this going… he will come down to earth at some point.
@@ProfKisuto Daniels has to play the Browns, Ravens and Bears defenses in October. Let's see how he is doing after that. People also seems to be forgetting the graphic that was shown constantly when Kingsbury was a head coach for his teams always starting hot and falling apart in the second half of the season.
@@runnin3216 bingo. Caleb is learning to play like a pro since day 1. Playing from the pocket, in structure. Making reads. They're playing the long game with his development. I love it.
If the Patriots would have signed Joe Flacco to immediately replace Brady. Coach Bill would still be dominating the AFC East.
Richardson is fine, and looked really good in those first two drives. There is no QB Controversy here in Indy
Here we go my reactions to all the overreactions:
1. Definitely a fair take. Henry looked incredible last night and they were a toenail away from ot in the first match.
2. I don’t know how u can’t say this right now. Only 4-0 team in the nfc thus far. Incredible defense, Sam looking fantastic.
3. Once again not an overreaction. Dallas and Philly are both an absolute mess right now.
4. This year you have to tote the L for Anthony and hope he develops. The flashes are too good for him to be sitting on the bench although he will lose u a game u should win.
5. Duh. Sf is really good. Honestly the overreaction would be if u said the opposite.
You don’t wanna bryce young drake. The team sucks as a whole. Build the team up and start him next season
6. Yeah. Fields is the starter moving forward. Miami trade coming?
7. Honestly shocked we haven’t seen it yet. He should be out there. Everyone likes Jameis compared p diddy.
8.😂😂 Miami would ask for mahomes for that trade to happen. They need tyreek more.
9. Not an overreaction although the afc isn’t as good as i thought. Something feels off about the jets.
Do you do this for every Over Reaction Mondays?
