id like to say 2 things, firstly : this is one of the most incredible and hypnotic audio/visual experience ever.. and secondly : I had no idea that the cast from "the big bang theory" were so talented?? or russian for that matter??
i have to applaud everyone who help make this happen. it's so great to see a small venue packed for an intimate turntablist head to head battle like this. especially in this year. it's usa vs russia right across from each other no bullshit involved just non stop competitive but respectful turntablism and i love it. great job and would love to see more of this format. is that rob swift or yoel romero?
Every good DJ has a dolid foundation built off of beat matching. You get that down I was told you can go crazy from there. Now I see that X-Ecutioners definitely have beat matching down.
After watching multiple Rob Swift DJ teaching vids over the last couple weeks, this was always going to be a wrap with that pedigree. But it's always good to watch the fourth degree black belts spar with the purple belts
this battle is epic. is beyond djing in itself, it goes more in depth if you can feel it. Russia is like doing it’s best and kicks it in a hard time, but than you see the x-ecutioners and is another world. it’s not necessarily on a good/bad level, or who’s best, is just great to watch the whole thing. That’s problably what’s good of competitions and hip-hop. Russia is really brave, and that’s a thing in itself and inspirational.
Yeah but skill wise it's obvious who's who. It doesn't have to be a competition because it really isn't and it should've been platformed as cooperative because.. well ...
Obvious talent on both sides but major tempo problems. Less flare, tighter tempo please. This is the equivalent of a barman spinning cocktails - looks good but half the drink is spilled across the bar and you'd rather have it in your glass.
And they're using Serato which means you can just produce tracks designed for the performance making it even easier, but also doing it live is different than practice. As a turntablist who still uses original vinyls I still agree with your comment. I would love if they made the tempo changes better mixed and fewer errors. I find myself trying to find the beat they're making and then it changes quick so in the end it seems like it was just a mess of cuts instead. Still impressive.
THANK YOU!!! No attention to THE FUCKING BEAT!!!!!!!!! That's a DJ's bread and butter, they don't bring actual creative talent, the only thing they really have is controlling the tempo and every single one of these professional clowns have zero concept of rhythm.
FreedomOrNothin uh excuse me they're fucking legends that's what New Yorkers have done they flare like motherfucker New York started the shit how the fuck would the rest of the world will rock to,this.. They been rocking that shit before Russian crew was born
Interesting and fresh, I listened to all this jam for the qualities of all these Djs /IF I'M NOT MISTAKEN/ Total Eclipse, Rob Swift, Dj Precision for the X-Ecutioners/USA (from front to back from the camera angle) and Dj Worm (the front one from the camera angle), Dj Chin Machine and Dj Mone for The Russian Scratch Crew/RUSSIA Peace to USA, Russia and Ukraine from France/UN. MUSIC like Hip-Hop an Djing of course is the global concept of PEACE, LOVE, UNITY and HAVING FUN
That shit was awesome!!!!! Both Teams Killed it!!!!!!!Music Brings us together!! They all showed Luv and respect in the end...Dapz USA-Dapz Mother Russia!!!

Yes actually making a tune out of it plus 10,
FCore yeah he was using reverb though
dj Worm)) he is a winner!!
RIP Roc Raida, Phife Dawg, Guru, DMX and all the other Hip Hop legends we have lost
Damn, my guy Rob Swift really took control of the fader with his butt cheeks at 18:55. Legend.
legends doing legendary things.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I was dying when I seen that lmao.
When I read this comment I was like "nah bro stop play-
Oh... Wow..."
lmao direspectful
id like to say 2 things, firstly : this is one of the most incredible and hypnotic audio/visual experience ever.. and secondly : I had no idea that the cast from "the big bang theory" were so talented?? or russian for that matter??
dont ever let that first russian dj start the set again......EVER!
He was messy and just sounded bullshit af 😂😂
RapidFire Muzik™ glad Im not the only who thought that hahaha
RapidFire Muzik™ poor guy had to open against the X men, I would have shat the bed too.
yeah....very poor start
I must be old. I remember going to Wembley in London to watch DJ David surprise everybody at the 1990 DMC World Mixing Championships!
many were overloaded by the notion of bringing up the most physically rather than musically challenging.
I would have completely lost my mind when eclipse broke out the DMX routine. Legend.
i have to applaud everyone who help make this happen. it's so great to see a small venue packed for an intimate turntablist head to head battle like this. especially in this year. it's usa vs russia right across from each other no bullshit involved just non stop competitive but respectful turntablism and i love it. great job and would love to see more of this format. is that rob swift or yoel romero?
Rob swift he kills it
Shout out to my real hip hop fam in RUSSIA! Much love from NY!
It would be dope to see Invisibl Skratch Picklez come back with Qbert and Mix Master Mike
i would love to see them against craze and atrack
yaa
What song does that, "Give me a funky-ass bassline" sample come from, at 16:03?
Every good DJ has a dolid foundation built off of beat matching. You get that down I was told you can go crazy from there. Now I see that X-Ecutioners definitely have beat matching down.
46:00 is this the hypest beat ever created?
Everybody feeling it
Got to see them live at BB Kings in NY 2009!
Rob Swift looks like Kimbo Slice now lol.
Stinky Whizzletooth facts! 💯🤙🤣💀
Great Battle! Awesome effort from both teams. Moving forward :)
Watching in March 2022. Beautiful. I hope they're still tight.
First guy sounded like an old vinyl record that you wanna toss out
One of the disciplines of hip hop unfortunately less promoted. Graf too.
Love this. Thank you for sharing this. The Culture is Ubiquity.
X -Ecutioners sloppy purple hat was the tightest and most complex onpoint set
It doesn't have to be a competition because it really isn't and it should've been platformed as cooperative because.. well ...
SALUTE 2 BOTH crews!! But c'mon that's the X-MEN, god 4-bid if rock raider wus still with us🔥 R.I.P. THE REAL DOUBLE R!!
Its the X men line up and Russia Djs your time is up. learn from the old school DJs. R.i.p. Grandmaster Roc Rada
New York Hip Hop is the BEST!
Начало наших просто жесть...метроном в шоке
Я вот на этом моменте не понимаю даже, стоит ли дальше смотреть... какой-то лютейший пиздец
:D
Я даже рукалицо сделал, играет он, а стыдно мне)
This is a pure Hip Hop space... No politics, no racial divides, nothing but a love of the DJ pillar of Hip Hop and it's culture. #BEAUTIFUL!
Interesting and fresh, I listened to all this jam for the qualities of all these Djs /IF I'M NOT MISTAKEN/
Total Eclipse, Rob Swift, Dj Precision for the X-Ecutioners/USA (from front to back from the camera angle)
and Dj Worm (the front one from the camera angle), Dj Chin Machine and Dj Mone for The Russian Scratch Crew/RUSSIA
