You travelled from the UK? Wow. I know two guys from the island of Guernsey who travelled all the way to Hawaii in this same year, to attend the ITF World Final. They were let into the battle for free, and invited on a boat ride around one of the islands, with all the DJS and judges.
RIP RAIDA. Always a humble guy. Gave him props twice at 2 shows - well deserved. FULL CLIP @ end of this is too much. Amazing. They performed the same set in my town in 2000 and it was classic.

I had never heard of them before that night... O. M. G.!!!! It was a tiny venue, I was right up front. i swear to god my head was going to melt I was sooooooo blown away. I had seen two DJs go back n forth before. But this?!?!? never. A 4 DJ ensemble!! One of if not THE best live show I ever saw. Goose bumps remembering that night. RIP Roc Raida most definitely. Just sick skills...

DAMN! This is insane to the fullest. They were straight killin the tables and when they would switch to a new track was just flawless. That Gangstarr freestyle was somethin else though.

daymn...i remember when i was Interning at DMC USA and i saw this...i was hiding to just watch this routine and Christie found me and she said,..."dont worry Fingaz...you can take a break"...those were the days....99 was a great year!! There's a second part to this too which was sick!! that crowd at the end roared crazy loud at the end of this routine
To those arguing vinyl vs. digital; both take incredible skill. But watching the X-Men freak it with actual records is like witnessing Picasso paint a masterpiece as opposed to watching an artist do something super dope using a digital design studio program.
@thegangstaivan you're right man. it is easier to scratch the record and juggle with the crossfader when you have a little wet fingers. However, I don't know if it's used for the knobs. But Mista Sinista is sick man with the turntable. Love it at 5:20 when he juggles the crossfader to a Gang Starr-classic :D
@Bojack222 LOL to answer that question, the guy who was licking his fingers (Mista Sinista) did that so he can have more control on the crossfader, turntable and the knobs on the mixer. Correct me if I'm wrong. ;D
