I’m 51 years old from Chicago and this brings back memories of the good old hip hop from the 80s and 90s and on top of that this Brother that’s DJing got real skills on those turn tables, keep doing what you’re doing brother and thanks for that old school Music mix, peace
51 years old myself and I remember them days when I used to chill with the fellows in the school yard battling against othe crews on the break dance and electric boogie Era!!!
Damn!!!! Exactly the years I think Hip Hop was the best. Good taste in Hip Hop my brother! I'll be 50 this year so I've been there when it comes to Hip Hop.
They stripped everything from real hip hop. DJ's scratching and mixing. Dropping mad different beats to make a track sound fresh as hell again when the jawn was like a decade old. Break Dancing, Poppin and lockin, Graffiti, Fresh Festivals. Our gear was is and always will be dope. I still rock Shells, suede pumas, Stan Smiths and Gazelles (the sneakers not the glasses) Kangols. Taping Lady B on cassette every Sunday morning into the late after, trying to hit pause when they announced the D. J or Power 99 FM so I could fake the funk and pretend I made the mix to my homie D. J. Pummz. This distant cousin they call hip hop now ain't shit. Not all of it. I'm not ignorant and blind. But these dudes are phony. Half of them are more feminine then the chic's they pretend to be with. No culture. No real DJing. I know every generation thinks theirs is the best. As far as Real Rap music and Hip Hop goes can't nobody tell 70s and 80s born kids a dam thing. We lived it. Did that thing right. First place I'd go when time travel was realeased would be 87. So many legendary M. C. s and groups dropped albums that year. I dam sure would let someone else take the time machine and just chill in the 80's because the girlies are free and the crack cost money. It took a Nation of Millions to Hold us Back. We Gots to Chill. We had Around the way girls and whopped are asses off to three bad brothers you know so well. We came Straight Outta Compton and wasn't no Half Steppin. Recognize younstas
brings back so much good memories during my DJ days, no computers no mobile phones, the turn table was the center of the house pumping and swaying on the dance floors
Wow.. You took me back son! To those tagging days, taking a radio and hanging out with your crew to break on cardboard. If you grew up in this era like I did, we were definitely blessed 🙌 . Youngins have no clue!

This Guy "DJ Scratch" is the "REAL DEAL HOLYFIELD !!!". He took me back in the day's when the party's used to really jump, i'm in the crib during this quarantine, dancing my ass off !!!
Now this is what I call a decent mix tape, I only like 80to 93 and the tracks in that era played were mixed to perfection. Really enjoyed this rare find

I feel like with this generation lives the last segment of real hip-hop, I am that generation (I am 33), next generation barely knows any good rap, people in their 20s barely know Hip Hop. DJ element will die at this rate, no one will remember 90s, let alone 80s, essence of real Hip Hop I was at this party where this guy was mixing techno with Biggie Smalls, and it was one of the cleanest remixes he did straight on spot, I was mesmerized. He simply did techno beat, and put Big's acapella on it. Without skipping a beat, without Biggie sounding off beat, it was perfect. DJ era is people in their 50s, 40s, 30s, even 60s, but people in 20s already don't know what it takes to cypher, how to truly mix records, besides of hitting "Play"
