Hi Lindsey, I am a Dutch girl that just graduated from a flower school. You don't have to throw away your Orchid if you put him on an inconspicuous spot and you keep giving your orchid water, then after a while your orchid will have new flowers.

Your orchid isn't dying! When all the flowers fall off, clip the stem at the bottom and it will grow back with new beautiful flowers :) !! The plant itself is still alive!

I plan to move back in with my parents right after graduation so that I can work and save up some money, but this apartment tour really inspired me for my future apartment. I've always dreamed of having my own space one day and pouring my creativity into decorating it and making it my own. I'm so excited for this next decade in my life and for exploring who I am. I've chosen to make my 20s a decade about ME. I obviously yearn for a family one day, but in the meantime I will focus on discovering who I want to be. ANYWAY, thanks for this spark of inspiration. I really love how your space is a reflection of who you are... :)

Nicely done! The box above the fridge is typically good for storing serving trays, muffin and cookie sheets, meat platters, cheese board and other not often used kitchen machines. I also keep gallon jugs of vinegar up there because I refuse to use nastier chemicals to clean my house. LOVE that couch.

The orchid isn't dying FYI ;) when the bloom stalk finally dries up, cut it off. But you have to wait until it's completely dried down to the bottom, as the plant is absorbing energy. Good idea to feed your orchids with liquid seaweed food. Twice a month.

I'm not sure if anyone has told you in the many comments, but that box is the compartment for a home entertainment system such as a Sony surround sound speaker system or other. The glass is tinted to the point where you cannot see the electronics behind, but the remotes will still be able to communicate with them. Edit: there are so many creative answers in these comments though lol

Ok, u r my first EVER video I've watched... Yup really! So I'm no longer a "video virgin!" I saved it video & I use to be a interiors & exterior designer & personal organizer. Your place looks great! I actually LUV that studio and would live there myself, that's saying g A LOT FOR ME.. I also think the IKEA hanging lamps are a plus. And that's because they draw the eye to the living room space & u see it as a whole, from the ceiling to the floor & that's because of the hanging white lamp. So the overall look is elegant and unique. So that's my opinion. Although I could give u TONS of organizing ideas in the whole apt. Thanks to lots of wall space for u to go up, but not out. Great job!!!
