      @@aMAYSingLife Yes I've had them for about 2 months now but haven't driven for long distances yet, so really don't know if it helped.
      I chose the shorter .75" based on reviews of others where hitting their heads on the top sound bar when using the taller version.
      My head still hit with the short version, with the seat in my normal position all the way back. I just moved it up one notch and it's fine.

    Just finished installing and test driving the seat jackets in my 2021 Gladiator Mojave. I am y6’2”+ and regularly travel from Virginia to northern Michigan. Support under the legs on those longer trips makes all the difference and I can’t wait for the next trip-the jackers make the seating position MUCH better! I use the fixed seat version giving over an inch of lift to the front and now the Jeep has seats I can be in all day and not torture my knees, hip and back. This is a great product, easy to install and reasonably priced and best of all made in the USA.

    Thanks for posting this video. I've seen this concept, but your video, including the description from the vendor at Overland Expo, really sealed the deal for me. I have a new-to-me 2014 JK and I'm 6'-7". I thought the Big Boy seat brackets would do the trick, and they definitely help give me 2" of more leg room so my knee is no longer buried in the dash, but I still need some sort of support for my right leg. There is nothing to lean against other than the transfer case lever, and that definitely not comfortable on longer drives. The stock seat cushion bottom just offers no thigh support at all for tall guys. I was thinking of spending big money on new seats, but $90 on a fix? Oh yeah, that's my jam for sure. Parts are on the way!

      It was a game changer for me.. I had a 2011 rubicon that I took the seat out and bore new holes and shifted the whole thing back but it was still never as comfortable as what this cheap fix did to lift my leg.. I was having sciatic nerve pain down my right leg. I now have 90k on my jeep (it’s a 2020) and I never think twice about taking off on long rides.. you won’t be disappointed

    I wish I could find someone near me who has installed these in their Jeep because the only reason I've never bought a Jeep is that I'm 6'6'' and don't fit in the seat without the roll bar feeling like it is going to cave my skull in with even a light impact wreck.

      To @UltimateAnarchy, the JL roll bar is much closer to your head than in the JK. DesertDoesIt sells another product for the back of the seat rail that adjusts the seat such that the roll bar is no longer an issue for tall drivers. I’m 6’7”, but I’m in a JK so I didn’t need to adjust the rear, I clear just fine, even with Big Boy extended seat rails.

      didn't even know they made rear ones. the goal is to increase the angle so leaving the rear as they are and lifting the front creates that lift that your legs need for support. didn't affect negatively the rear at all.

    I just bought a 17 Sahara 2 days ago and am getting buyers remorse as I have back issues, previously owned a 12 jk and 16 jku with no pain. Now I’m a a bit older (47) and maybe age is catching up haha. I’m feeling it in both legs and lower back as well as my left side upper back. I’m hoping this helps. I’m 6’4” with a 36” inseam. I just left a place in my town and made an appt to have lumbar installed @ $499. If I can spend $89 it’ll be a home run.
    Anyone know what to do about the upper back or will this help that too?

    • @aMAYSingLife
      @aMAYSingLife  Год назад

      in my opinion it will. i'm not 6'4 and my inseam is only 34 but shifting the weight partially to your legs and raising the legs did seem to help my lower back and as such changes the position of your upper back. one thing i did on my 2011 rubicon was take the seat out and i bore new holes that allowed me to move the whole seat back about 1.5". with your height, doing that PLUS the seat jackers you may find is a game changer. I have had enough chiropratic work to know that when one part is off, the rest of the body attempts to compensate for it and in doing so causes other long term issues that take time to show up. so correct your foundation and the upper may correct itself.
