wish they could bring cinematic concepts like this back again like they owned these kind of concept, ONE of the reasons why i became an army is because of hyyh era and wings era, its so hella relatable and artistic in so many levels, i was comforted and saved in those years. i hope they would find it in themselves to do artisitic/cinematic concepts again.
Don't worry I think they do have to continue their BU story and then we'll have that cinematic vibes again 😉I just wish that happens real sooner🤭

Tory Namjookie Normally I don't listen to Kpop cuz almost all of them are about love between boys and girls. They tend to be very stereotypical. But I found BTS is a little different from all the rest. Their songs have variety of theme and different meanings in them. I think I'm beginning to like them more little by little ;)

Carlton Smith read the book demian it talks about a boy why goes through the dark side of things even though he's from a good and wealthy family he wants to experience and understand the bad and evil side of things. He talks about how he doesn't want people to feel regret and learn from their actions. It's overall a really good book.

Fun Fact: The original painting that was burned in this short film was painted by SUGA. Jungkook replicate it because he likes it so much. 😊

When JUNGKOOK saw the painting, red paint splattered on it. The red paint was blood. Then the 'blood' flooded from the paintings eyes and JUNGKOOK started to cry. In the Not Today m/v you can see the members (except for JUNGKOOK) get shot. Then you see a zoom in of his eye. In his eye there is JUNGKOOK himself holding a gun. JUNGKOOK could see the members getting shot in the painting of this short film. That's why he started crying. Maybe JUNGKOOK shot the members and he could see it in the paintings eyes. He could not believe it and started cry.

In a MV you can see JK facing a car, fans then made the theory that he died beacuse of the car crash. In this short film, you hear the sounds of a car accident. So I think he really did die because at the end of the video he is seen with wings. He kinda looks like a bird (or a phoenix), so I guess he was reborn and actually died before the other members. Now, my theory is: Jungkook's song is mostly about the BTS members and how he wishes that he could cry in their stead, for he can't stand to see them hurt. So in this short film, he finds out about Suga's death. In the MV's (for example 'Run') you see him being very close to Suga. He even tried to fight against Suga's 'self-destructing personality'. He wants to save him, which might be the reason why Suga did not die.. (Short film 4) Jungkook, who is now in the afterlife, lured Suga away from his death with his whistling. I think Jungkook too, made a deal with the devil. I still don't know what he sacrificed though.. Jin's sacrifice was turning into a statue and breaking in exchange for the member's.. lives? To return them to life again? Since in Jimin's vid you can see the water going back into the bathtub, which maybe means that he did not die. Jungkook maybe sacrificed his life in return for being a phoenix? He smiled at the car in 'Run'.. so I think he made the deal on purpose and was ready to die. Maybe in exchange for the 'Dorian-Grey-Painting'? He gained immorality, I guess. He tries to prevent Suga's death after being reborn into the afterlife as a phoenix.

you can read the book demian by herman hesse, this story revolves around sinclair, (played by jk) a boy who is trying to find out the light and the dark until he enters the dark world and cant find a way out and on his way he meets demian, (played by taehyung). he escapes tae and the dark and his parents move him to a boarding shool . jk draws to find out what his chaotic dreams mean and surprisingly it comes out as tae (demian's picture). i cannot describe it whole so you can read the book i strongly recommend it.

First Jungkook had wings (which i think represents the ability to time travel) until jungkook committed suicide which then the wings were passed onto jimin but jimin told a lie which caused the wings to transfer to V who stabbed his father then to yoongi who set himself on fire, then to namjoon who drank poisonous stuff, and the j-hope who took pills and finally jin, who hadnt made a sin who tries to save them all... This probably won't be fully correct btw, I probably missed some things out/forgot things/got things wrong.

Your voice is as gentle and comforting as a lullaby, but as powerful and soulful as a person’s spirit. You can bring tears to those who aren’t sensitive, and put a spring in the step of those who feel lifeless. You’re the only person who I know encompasses so much talent and possibility in one voice. You tell stories, give advice, and release pain just by singing for us. Just as your singing serves as an entire mind and body experience for the listener, your dancing is equally as imperative as a component for your exquisite performances. You have all of the skills and marks of a phenomenal dancer, but when you dance your body absorbs the music. Your body moves and becomes one with the rhythm, and watching you fall into the music to let yourself go makes us feel liberated. Whether it be contemporary, hip-hop, or any other style, your body naturally adapts to the atmosphere and every little morsel of composition. Only you have the blood in your veins that pumps through it the essence of dance; of which no amount of training or practice could be put in to acquire. Needless to say, you have reached new heights in the world as well as within yourself musically. I feel like they both made a deal with the devil to save their members like Hoseok and Jin. But the car... Jungkook has kind of an interesting experience with cars. In the Run MV, Jungkook looked back and smiled at the car. If I can recall, Yoongi has a car crash in his own short film.
Jungkook may have traded something, like his freedom probably with the devil for Yoongi's life. But Taehyung, what did he trade for? Maybe he broke his deal, and that's why he has the marks: his wings were taken away. And Jungkook, he may be considering his descision as the devil came to hear his final answer, since the birds flew off. The devil was probably tempting him to trade his freedom for Yoongi's life by showing his a vision which we can hear piano keys and fire crackling.
And a fire and piano playing was in Yoongi's short film wasn't it? And so he(the devil) showed Jungkook the vision and after, we see Jungkook's shadow, but with wings. The wings are probably from the devil who had just arrived. Jungkook most likely agreed to the offer and the devil kept his side of the deal and was the one whistling in Yoongi's short film, luring him away from the music store which the car crashed into and the where the piano caught fire. But that's just my theory.

I know I’m very late to this, being a new Army, but I noticed something and thought I might contribute. In this short film, there’s ink bleeding on the painting, and in Reflection, there’s ink bleeding on RM’s arm. Some other people were finding a connection between Jungkook shouting something and RM covering his ears, and if there is a connection there, then the timing is perfect. Ink bleeds during Begin and then Jungkook yells. Ink bleeds during Reflection and then RM covers his ears.

Yes yes there’s also a lot of things that happen in all of the films that are connected there’s, like you said, the ink in JKs canvas and rms arm the burning piano, the whistle, the car crash, jk actually was the one who crashed in a mini store that had a piano that suga broke into while in his film and the broken glass in rms film also happened in Taes film and in Taes film we have a mother hugging her child which simbolizes Tae missing his mother also we have that in Hobis film as a painting. The painting was originally a whiteish foggy tree painting that was also in Jimins short film. (Jimin and Hobi were in the same mental hospital) and the white and orange pills that we see in hobis short film appears in Jimins short film and then we have Tae asking to call someone and that someone was rm who tried to take the call but the telephone pole was rapped up in chains and couldn’t get inside. Also in JKs film we see a painting of a bird who gets passed around film to film. And in JKs film he grows wings at the end and at the end of Boy Meets Evil we see Hobi growing wings. And there’s more to the story called The Most Beautiful Moment In Life and there’s a story/theory’s there, you can find many references to the Wings theory. There’s alot more going on than you think and I’m still trying to figure out those things. This really got my head twisted in knots and it’s really fun to find out what’s happening. I absolutely love these theories and I hope you do too. 💜

What namjoon is saying in the beginning is a passage from the book "Demian". It's about a boy called sinclair who's between 2 different worlds; the good world which is with his parents and sister, and the bad world which is inside him. But throughout the story he gets more familiar with the bad side of the world as he feels more connected with evil. He's very confused and mentally ill which causes him to have nightmares. Then he meets demian who ends up being very important to sinclair helps him see both good and bad sides of the world and acts as a role model to sinclair. Sinclair also draw him when he has nightmares (the painting could be V or yoongi who represents demien?). He also often drew birds and sent them to demian. Then he saw an egg in his dreams and as time passed it hatched into a bird. The story describes problems young people face when growing up and trying to find who they are. The bird that came out of the egg in the dream is sinclair grown up (jk growing wings?). There was a lot more on the tumblr post by letmebacktorealoty I saw, but this is the theory in a nutshell. It makes sense for now. The book is split into 3 parts: life between good and bad & his mental illness, changing his life 'letting go' by drinking and destroying himself, third; finally getting back to demian and finding his own way. That may be how bighit will divide the plotline. But it's all theories. Let's wait for the other parts to come out and we'll see.

si ustedes notan, en el inicio del short, se oye un chiflido, el cuál es el mismo que Yoongi escucha en su short film "first love" por lo cual, podemos pensar que estos dos están conectados de alguna manera. Lo mismo sucede con el piano quemandose, que eso lo podemos ver más a detalle en el short de Yoongi.
en cuanto a la pintura, es muy probable que Jungkook haya pintado a Yoongi, como una manera en la que puede recordarlo (ya que recordemos que ellos dos eran bastante unidos cuando todos estaban juntos) y la desesperación de no saber cómo está es lo que hace que él vea como la pintura llora y él también llore al ver que su hyung sufre, por eso grita y se desespera, al igual que Yoongi, quién, desesperado por saber sobre su amigo, en su shot podemos ver que el carro que atropelló a Jungkook en uno de los videos (creo que era RUN, corriganme si estoy mal), pasa por la misma carretera y esa para él es una señal de que está mal, así pues, podemos concluir que uno piensa que el otro está muerto y así es como se conectan.
