It just seems that way cuz most of us are highly intelligent and/or have and intricate train of thought there are also a lot of Army who have already graduated and know a lot more about certain things than most of he younger Armys do, still not all of us know a lot. In english: You have to have chaos in you to be able to give birth to a dancing star.
Ok so here's my theory on it all:
*JUNGKOOK*- Jungkook had been going through depression prior to finding about Suga's death but it has gotten worse. (hence the piano Suga played on fire and the breaking glass) his bed was taken away which could indicate his inability to sleep at night. He tries to ease the pain but all the stress (rain and water) is building. The painting of himself is ruined and the bird flies away which could be his soul leaving his body. His painting cries and wings appear in his shadow after he puts the bird in the envelope. When the glass breaks his bird pops up and during Suga's scene you could hear Begin being played and whistled. That could mean Jungkook blames himself after he "burdened" Suga with his depression.
*JIMIN*- Jimin is shown the circle that indicated Jungkook. So maybe he found out while in the medical ward. He knows about Suga's death also (the piano) and tried to drown himself. The painting is the same painting we see in JHope's scene. "I'm trapped in myself and I am dead." Jimin is also depressed and maybe committed suicide. Or he's still there 🤔💀 "A me that was innocent" he could blame himself for their deaths also.
*V*- V starts off being arrested. But it's for something trivial and he seems quite happy to be taken away. V is seemingly running from his past, but once the man asks about his parents he's being beaten. I feel like V is beating himself up because he couldn't save his mom from his father. The dog is white, white represents purity so his innocence could be taken away when he's put into the prison and he asks to be punished. He feels like he deserves to be punished bc of his failure to protect.
*SUGA*- Suga plays Begin on the piano when he breaks in and hears it being whistled. He could be contemplating death but he can feel the guilt of doing it bc it would hurt Jungkook. Since he was the one Jungkook told about his depression. There's blood splattered on the ground after Suga gets hit. But Suga was still there, it could be his soul or whatever. Jimin's tub overfills which could indicate that he drowned himself. Suga's piano catches fire and Begin starts to play again. So it could mean that Ghost Suga knows they're dead.
*RAP MON*- (I love his little things in between each scene)
Rap monster gets Jungkook suicide note. You could hear the phone thing not working when he called so that could mean he couldn't reach Jungkook. Paint goes up Rap Mon's arm so he could be worried about JHope. He feels stressed and avoids looking at himself bc he's the leader and he's letting everyone down. The glass breaks again and he knows about Suga also. V also asked to make a call earlier on so he tried to answer but there wasn't any way bc the phone booth was chained.
*JHOPE*- In Jhopes eyes when he takes his pill he sees the same garage door V was vandalizing. He begins to lose his mind until he sees a light. The same painting that we see in Jimin's scene. (He eats a snicker Bc you're not you when you're hungry.) V's assumably mom (bc she appeared in his eye) pops up bc his mom might be a nurse there, from what I read on other theories, and so that's why Rap Mon said "With a face that resembled his mothers"
JHope dancing alone could be his battle to fight hits demons. (DANCE BAAATTLLEE) Spolier alert: He loses. That's why the ground breaks meaning his mind is breaking and he ends up in the colorful room in which he went crazy in before. Wings pop up like Jungkook bc he too dies and he fell to his knees. "It's too evil" which could mean he was too weak to beat his demons.
*Jin*- ( this is the longest) Jin swings on the swing in isolation which can mean he's alone in the world. Everyone seems to be dying like fr dude they're all laying down and floating into the air.. not that hard to decipher. Jin is falling apart...literally lol. But he's thinking of all of his friends and he's cracking under pressure. The statue with Mary holding Jesus is there to represent the bond between V and his mother. The arrows is the blame JHope placed on him for supposedly betraying him. Jin sits at the table and eats and apple (Jimin) there's a bird statue in the back on the table (Jungkook) and a painting of a piano (Suga) he goes through a deep depression. The marks on the door and the simple room could indicate his mind. It looks like a water reflection when he opens the door. Remember how we could hear water build up in Jungkooks? Well that could indicate how much depression building up on Jin. Jin's constantly being reminded of his friend and decides to leave. He takes 6 pictures which all end up being a symbol of his friends. He leaves them behind so he could be trying to forget and move on from his past.
*BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS*- Jin walking with his friends and could be remembering all of the fun times. He stares at a picture depicting war which could be the constant battle with depression. (I'll leave out the amazing vocals and dancing...they're hot)
The white over V could mean V wanted to wash his sins away. JHope shoots a arrow to V's faceu that could mean he blamed V for locking him in the crazy house. Remember earlier on when I said V's mom was a nurse and he looked like his mom? Well bc JHope (who lost his mind) thinks it was V and shoots him bc he feels like V betrayed him. Jin is seen eating at the table with his friends then a few scenes after he's standing on it alone. So I'm pretty sure they're all dead lol. At the end V covers Jin's eyes, kind of bringing him back to reality ig.
Jin kisses the statue with wings and it starts to cry paint. V looks back happy asf WITHOUT WINGS so maybe that could mean that Jin forgave or freed him.
*SPRING DAY*- Ima skip that fact that V basically killed himself on the train tracks lol. And how beautiful they all look 👀 like my GOD.
Jungkook is on the train alone bc he was battling depression alone. He seems to look happy with the others but in reality the entire time he was suffering and felt like he was alone. It shows how they all get along and Jungkook tries to think where it all went wrong. Everyone was so happy but for some reason he feels bad.
Suga is alone surrounded by the clothes bc he's so used to being alone but his anxiety seemed to have built up.
Jin could feel like he's responsible for it all because he is the eldest after all. He's supposed to protect them and seeing them prevail (go up the stairs loll) made him happy. They follow him to a tree, and he puts his shoes on the tree. Maybe that was his way of forgiveness or getting over everything. Like how whenever someone copes they hold on to memories or something special from the person who died. Maybe that was his way of accepting it all. (He could be hanging himself but I wanna be optimistic since the rest was very depressing.)
Anywho maybe this can clear up the confusion. It's not perfect but it's just a theory. Either way Wings is a perfect album and I love it and every single one of them. And if you're like me and got sad thinking about them dying, I read other people's theories and someone said Not Today could be the alternative of them killing themselves and defeating their demons together.

Safyiahh Well you see Tae covered Jin's eyes so maybe he wanted him to see how much he was suffering or something and since Jin's the oldest he's assumably the wisest. And ig him kissing the statue was his way of forgiving him or freeing him for whatever was paining him I'm not completely sure 😕😭sorry

So, V is a fallen angel bc he killed his father.. Jin kissed the statue in the mv of blood sweat and tears, signifying he made a deal with the devil. The deal was for v to get his wings back and the devil could take jin's soul. That's why jin is dead . And V is the most affected one bc jin sacrificed his life for v to get his wings back. It all makes sense now.. (This is just my theory. Idk if this is the real theory.. )

EVERTHING IS AN ILLUSION Anxiety,Depression,Fear and Pain yes pain, pain becomes illusion when you focus on it, when you feel something is hunting you when you feel trapped in the dark when you feel its all your fault when you feel its not gonna change anymore it's all lie you have to set yourself free from this illusions change starts with yourself you have to edure the pain, pain is like a seed that grows and become anxiety,fears or worst depression. You have to be more open minded and remeber that there is a light at the end of a tunnel you just have to keep going what ever happens you have to be strong dont let your fears control you control your fears and believe that you will reach the light at the end of tunnel and when you finally did it spread your wings and be free.

Call me weird or creepy but I actually love these kinds of concepts. It gives you the vibe of the darker side of the light and the hell between heaven. It portrays that it's not always about the positive side of life. But actually, yeah, you're right, it's giving me the creeps too. 😂. I doesn't feel like it has ghosts but rather more darker than that. Like maybe, demons? Dark magic? Or something along those lines. I can't really describe the feeling, honestly, I feel like they are creating something new in the darker side of the realm.

Actually it’s not that confusing, I highly recommend reading Demian the book the album was based off of because literally everything in the videos was based off of it (besides the backstories of the members) even little details like the wallpaper are a reference to the book

I think it's this way. Hoseok is generally known as a happy person, the sunshine, cheerful guy. He is perceived to be completely okay and good in health, so the music represents his image as seen by everyone. But he's also placed inside a box as we see in Mama, and that box is locking all of his actual feelings inside, where he is hurt, depressed, on the verge of shattering. The box represents his image of himself- that is, the actual him. Outside the box, it's blank. White background, white coloured box. Except the painting, which is the same as Jimin's in Lie, and which turns to a mother and her child after Hoseok leaves. So it is like the world never saw Hoseok in his actual state, but they saw him as what they wanted to see.

I am absolutely impressed and utterly confused. The storyline is dark and contains so many hidden layers and secret messages that its difficult to decipher them in one go. Theres hundreds of theories on this story, but they are all just theories. But the music, concept, the graphic visuals, and the boys obviously, were stunningly gorgeous. I couldn't take my eyes of the screen.

Okay so I have some theories regarding each member. It may have a bigger meaning but this is just what I think.
Jungkook's song 'Begin' is about how he would not be who he is today without the other members and that they really helped him gain his wings.
Jimin's 'Lie' is about all the pressure surrounding the music industry and being an artist. He's always trying to make himself better for the approval of others and sometimes it drives him a little crazy.
Tae's 'Stigma' is about his family and how he wants to make them proud but feels that he isn't successful in doing so. That he always does something wrong. He's always beating himself up and trying to better himself for approval of his family.
Yoongi's 'First Love' is about how he really found his passion in BTS but still sometimes feels lost in the industry. He's still seeking fulfillment. He also feels guilty for leaving his family to pursue Bangtang even though it's what he loves.
Rapmon's 'Reflection' is about him still seeing the approval of his family as they never really approved of him joining Bangtang. It still makes him feel awful and can sometimes make him question himself and his self worth.
J-Hope's 'Mama' is all about how much he appreciates his Mother and her constant support through his career in BTS. His Father never really approved but his Mother was always there for him. He wants to pay her back and show her how much he appreciates her.
Jin's 'Awake' is about how he finally feels he is doing right with his life and his career and how joining Bangtang and meeting and getting to know all the Hyungs really helped him wake up and see the beauty in his career.
All in all I think this album is about family. Whether it's about biological family, the members or ARMY's

I thought Suga's was about his childhood and how he was always alone but he fell in love with music, with the piano in particular. He talks about his piano as if it's a person whom he truly loves and cares about. And from the explanations on Jin's song "Awake" I heard that it's about him feeling like he'll never be at the same level as his group mates. When he says "Maybe I can never fly" and "Maybe I can't touch the sky" it's referring to him never being able to get up there with them since he's one of the members who is under appreciated.
Those are my thoughts on that.

Caoimhe Limha it represents difficult moments in life like adolescence, experimenting new things that could scare us like "first love" or "reflection" every adolescent is kinda "afraid" of the mirror.. or "mama" to me represents take distance from your family witch could also be a scary thing during adolescence... you never walk alone is a happy ending, even though you go trough this difficult time you never walk alone! And spring day to me it's a concept of flowers that grow again... the cold disappears and idk I have a lot of other things to say but it's just my opinion :)
Daisy Pollini I get what you're saying and it's an absolutely gorgeous concept musically and visually but still, it's so full of pain. I'm not saying I don't appreciate it because it's probably my favorite collection of music ever but the way they express it in the videos is just... I don't even know his to put it in words. It's more than just sad because 'sad' is very two dimensional. As cliche as it is and as much as I'm cringing at myself even even saying it, this is an appropriate situation to use the term 'deep.' It's increadible but it messes with my emotions like there's no tomorrow. The lyrics just seem so devoid of hope sometimes when you apply them to the development of the story BTS has created. I mean they're all dying and suffering and lodging their ways and themselves and each other but despite it all they still have the bond they share. Through heartache and loss and death they never walk alone even though there's no one with them. It's a roller coaster!

Hey peeps this is gonna be a long explanation. Just a heads up.
I think the easiest way to describe the moral of this video (even though It's so hard to explain such an in depth line of emotion and heart amongst each of these stories). We must first consider 'big hit's involvement (music & artist for healing).
Most fans know that each song in the album has a deeper meaning. For instance kookies 'begin' is about his deep love and respect for his Hyungs and all they've done for him.
Here we follow each member in a parallel of what their lives had started as or had became before they fully gained their "wings" (I.e becoming bts, growing into whom they are now & having an A.R.M.Y at their side for love and support). Even though the visuals may not match to the members particular story in its literal term. By comparing the events for each struggle that is shown in each members individual clip we are able to relate more to the overall feeling. Whether it be in a time of struggle, realization or overall growth.
Take for example jins song 'awake'. In this we see he sits at the table alone and uses the camera dawned in pink (one of his favorite colors) to take a picture. While he does so the candles blow out and a shadow casts over him. I feel this translates into Jin having captured a dream he wanted to pursue beautiful fresh like a flower. Though his fire was alight somewhere through it all he believed for himself that his impact in the group would never be as great as the others. It seemed that they casted such a great shadow he would never see the light.
He then is pictured in a room the door closes with scratches littering the wood. Perhaps it's the thoughts that plagued his mind about how he felt. Then we see the six petals as he lays them before himself and ignites them. I view this as the six members and how Jin will gladly take from himself and give to them because his love for each is that great and he would rather at the very least their dreams come true (at the expense of his own).
And lastly when the song begins and he is walking down the long hallway he stops before the painting of a bird reaching for the sky with black feathers falling beneath him bleeding into the frame like its holding it back. He then notices the light and walks toward it; mean while we are showed the six pictures developing on the floor. I feel this is a visual of Jin taking his steps. Moving forward with each day. When he stops to look at the picture it's like a turning point.
He sees that even though it may feel like he isn't getting anywhere the truth of the matter is that he's flying high. And the weight of his falling feathers are all that's holding him back. The light is representative of the fans and his brothers in bts. How we see that he is so much more. Finally the pictures devolping could represent his realization that just as much as he gives to nurture the dreams of his brothers they're doing just the same. And each one wants one another to rise as a union.
Like wise for the others. I think that's why they used such dark sequences to represent their songs. These scenarios are ones we've seen time and time again that the emotions are known all too well.
One thing I'd also like to capitalize are the paintings we see (a.k.a the meaning behind their music). It's like a statement of their pasts that they know they'll never be able to change nor would they want to. They will leave these songs or "paintings" in the archive that is their music as a staple for everything that has happened to get them here and a goal to aim for a brighter future.
Overall it's a beautifully healing video and I truly hope that they will only grow more with their (as well as our) love. 💕

So I’m watching all BTS daily til they all return and oh, my gosh 😮 I have goosebumps watching these clips. So glad things changed for them❤💜🫶🫰
I finally understand what does the image of the Wings album means. Every clip of the members acting for the concept of their solo song, there would be a circle with a design in it. For Jungkook's, the circle had black feathers around it, it means that the picture that Jungkook was holding which Namjoon got from a letter that meant Jungkook's Suicidal death, the picture had black feathers in its wings. While for Jimin's, it had a crack on the top right, it mean that he ate a piece of an apple in his clip. For Taehyung's, it had a slice near the middle but it was slanted and a little bit at the north of the circle. It means about cutting the thingy that he was cutting on (the siver thingy which mean that a store is closed). For Yoongi's, It had a stipy black and white design. What it means is that the texture of the wheel of a car is exactly the same with the design of Yoongi's circle. The car that he saw when he was at th road was the car that crashed into the store where Yoongi broke in on. For Namjoon, it also had black feathers around the circle. It means that the tattoo that he wrote on his wrist meant that he will forever remember Jungkook's suicide. For Hoseok, it had the word "eva" all over it. It meant that the person who painted the painting which the mother was holding its child, it was a rememberance of Hoseok's mother who abandoned him in a carnival near a merry-go-round. The person who painted the painting was named "Eva". For Seokjin's circle, it made the 4th circle have an ombre black to white style. I think that means of how the polaroid pictures that he made. Before, it was black until the picture that he took revealed. Revealing what happened to the other members which what was in their clips.
This was just a guess okie. Im just too addicted to the Wings era uwu.

But he fails a lot of times so he keeps trying to understand what are the missing pieces to solve the puzzle. The members stories are all connected to each other so it becomes tricky.

this all makes me think back to previous theories, but it's like i understand so much watching all teasers in one video, it actually shows an image to understand, the order it shows things i didn't notice and pick up, it sends shivers down my spine to actually have an image in my head, after all this time. it actually scares me, how all these theories can add up, and how bts actually came up with all this, to my surprise i couldn't sleep at night, after every teaser.
like others are saying, Jin has other more personalities, etc. something about this all just speaks to me. after all teasers, everything appeared into jins. we all know he is the biggest part of what's all happening and why. im not the best at making theories. but again, i understand, but in a way where i can't even explain it too well.
here's the thing. jin is the picture we have to focus on here. everything the members touched or just looked at, something important to them, the main idea appeared into Jin's teaser. meaning, yes. they are apart of him in a way. we see in each teaser, so many different things are going on. but there's just one main thing we always have to focus on. before each teaser plays in this video, there is a voiceover from namjoon, most likely saying something from a book of some sort, maybe not, but it relates to the teaser. in bs&t it's all a different story, not literally but you know what i mean, it tells a story but it's kind of different from the story the teasers are telling, but again, it's not. but in the 2017 tour, we see lots of things, again each member is representing something different. we have jungkook on a swing that suddenly sets on fire. each member laying in the ground except jin(?) they all suddenly do something, they float. but in a different environment. taehyung grows his black wings. they have, a paint like consistency coming out of their eyes, probably representing their tears. an apple appears from under water. yoongi sets a butterfly into his mouth, but his face is different, half is sweet the other is evil. in the mv jins face starts to break. so in the tour teaser, it continues to and his hand also falls off. when he kisses the mirror it's water. it moves at his touch, his touch is special in a way and for a reason. in jins teaser he burns the white petals, probably representing each other member, the personalities they have. it seems as if he's finally awake, and is 'burning' them away(?) the personalities that happened probably because of him, or trials he wanted them to stop going through, make him forget him possibly? in he end of his teaser, six polaroids appear on the ground. each represents each member, the important part of their teaser. they go blurry and appear clear, i believe it states he sees what they're actually going through, he took pictures with his Polaroid, maybe he watched them, knowing what was hurting them the most(?) after we see his circles appear and spread out to reveal the other four circles, like they were inside of him, his circle represented them as one, they were all like this because of the same thing, it's different but each persons problem has a relation to each other. in the mv well a lot of things are happening, and i don't know how to explain it at this point, im still confused at the mv no matter how many times i watch it. the thing that brings my attention to it is the different places and how people suddenly are together and someone does something to the other. we have jungkook floating, and he eats wax? taehyung covers jins eyes and he suddenly appeared in front of the angel, which we believe is taehyung because when he missed the statue, taehyng smirks and his back looks like he had wings that were no longer there. after jin kisses it, jimin has green tears? and jin starts to suddenly break, it's like he's dead, but they're still holding onto him, so instead of them continuing to hurt, taehyung kills him for them to stop hurting. i can't really read out the rest of the mv, lol. spring day. in the beginning we see taehyung stand on the train tracks and place his head there. jungkook is in a train ALONE. jimin sitting on a beach again, alone. namjoon inside a train as well? again lonely. omelas is a utopia. we see namjoon walk past jungkook as he stares out. namjoon walks into a room and has things thrown at him. Jin at the bottom of stairs and there's the rest of the members looking down to watch him. jk standing in front of a ride that has you never walk alone pasted on it. tae walking the tracks. jimin walking away. jungkook, again looking out of the window. the three rappers standing in front of the motel. Then we see yoongi brushing his teeth alone, we see hoseok in the bg still wondering if he should take the pills, and then he appears next to yoongi brushing his teeth as well. yoongi rapping on clothes, which turned out to be a mountain, like hiding all troubles in there, then as light shone on it they were all there, showing they love each other for who they are no matter the problem. jungkook looking for his hyungs and finds them, we see a train pass them as they run, and jungkook is actually inside that train, as if he's having flashbacks on when they were together. remember he ran past a sign that said ' no vacancy ' which is a movie. seven friends, rest there, etc. i forgot. but then we have them walking away from the utopia that made them happy, probably trying to forget about jin. when they walk away, they all are on the train and jk notices he's really not alone. jimin he ties jins shoes to a tree, meaning he has died, they're trying to forget jin by running away, but jin wants them to stay longer according to the lyrics he sings. it appears in ' the one that walked away from omelas ' that they are running away from happiness, and going to a place where they won't be happy, they run into the mountains and never come back, something like that. in the ' not today ' teaser we see them getting chased by these guys and it looks like they're heading to the mountains. we see that there are only THREE ahead and the other four are too slow and apparently can't catch up, it appears that only THREE FRIENDS WILL SURVIVE. idk if any of this made sense. but i basically think, ' you never walk alone ' actually is meaning we never do, as the members appeared alone, the rest showed up, showing that they will always be there for one another, idk. im pretty dumb so hah bye i think im wrong but..

I have a strange theory but anyways.. If anyone watched the Wings full story you'll see that Jin holds seven petals from a flower just like the one in the Love Yourself Highlight Reel. I think the seven petals represent the seven members. When Jin set fire to the seven petals using a lighter I think that the lighter was the same one as Jimin's in the music video Fire. I think the petals on fire mean their death and it connects to Not Today when Suga says "someday flowers will fall". It is a puzzle... very intriguing for the retired therapist in me. I see so many things that are connected to who they are and all of their own life stories. I was just talking to my mom and she was like "Nope. That is not my field". lol😂😂 She's an attorney and Im a psychologist. My passion is helping to figure out the puzzle pieces and teaching my clients to put the puzzle back together offering physical support when needed. I dunno, but the first time I watched the short films, I got this horror movie vibe - especially for Yoongi's and Kookie's (and Tae's?) - they seemed intricate and dark, and if you made a horror out of them, it would actually be a good movie, not like those crappy horrors that are so freaking predictable and not worth watching.
The movie would probably have a deeper meaning behind all of it, and the plot would be totally fascinating. (AND MAYBE THE MOVIE WOULD EXPLAIN WHAT IS FREAKING GOING ON HERE LIKE HELLO TELL ME WHAT'S HAPPENING PU-LEASE!)

Ok i have a theory:
When Taeh Yung wanted to make a phone call he wanted to call Rap Mon but Rap Mon couldn’t pick up because the phone was locked in the room or a box (idk how its called) with chains also when Tae looked away of the police man because he reminded him of his father that was an alchocolic whenp the police man was drinking water, when Tae looked away there was a moment of his father beating up him and his mother. That represented him and the puppy in the cage. If you didn’t see the home when the besting up scene was was locked with ki da bars so he couldn’t escape. When dad wasn’t home Tae and mom were kinda ok but then at night his dad would come back drunk. Tae would be locked and that represents when the puppy got away that means the fun was lost.
When J Hope was in the room, the doctor has writen down his disease which causes you to always pretend that ur sick and ill when your really not.
When some of the members saw the picture it reminded them of the mom because our boys truly miss their familys and famiky members. Since they are practicing over 10+ hours a day and are always on tour or a fan meeting they can only met their familys when there are holydays and they can go out and be with family.
What i also think is that Rap Mon is the devil and Tae wanted to ask him to become a devil so he could get back at his dad for beating hum and his mom.
Also when Rap Monster tatooed the bird that was fully black i think that was kinda a symbol of devil that’s how Rap Monster represented himself as the devil...
These are just theoris i could think of and still trying to figure out what’s happening :)
