Just bought one with the surprising 190 horsepower. Dad demanded me to take it to a shop to change the fluids but here i am doing this myself saving money for other repairs. Thanks for the clear video!
Great video. Quiet and relaxing. I need to change oil on my niece's Juke and your vid is exactly what I was looking for. Very good step-by-step. Thank you!
today i brought a Blue/Black 2010 Juke with spunky red trim, in perfect condition, 83000k 9500NZD, complete with plastic wrap on the seats. i fell in love... I wish you were my local mechanic but now I think I could do this, thank you for the tutorial
Good job! I have a 2016 and been paying $60 to have it changed. I think I will start doing it on my own now. Thanks for taking the time to show all the steps.
So one thing you should be doing differently is after filling to the manufacture spec of oil check the level then start the car and recheck. Once oil is flowing through the system you may find you need to add a small amount more.
It pretty much takes 5qts, it says it takes about 4.5-4.7 but about a quarter to half a quart stays in the filter so thats why you stick reading will be off.
Hello! This is 2012 but it’s all the same process for change oil.The roof rack i bought it from somebody.Got really cheap but for brand new that’s for the juke,it’ll cost you around $300.The wind fairing,I just bought from amazon as well as the ski rack
Sardar Nasir hello! The best advise is check with your owner’s manual. What’s the year of your nissan juke?Mine is 2012 and my engine oil is recommended in my manual
metallicsonorlars none for a year now after I did cvt fluid exchange. Before,i kept losing power especially when driving uphill. Now,it’s driving well with great power even on driving normal mode

How do you reset the oil life indicator on the dashboard?
I don’t have that in mine
Great vid just waht I was looking for, have you ever replaced the sump seal gasket?? Mine has slight oil Leak
If you have slight leak, you need to replace the gasket.I haven’t replace mine yet.I have 175k miles on my juke now lol
Is it necessary to put gasket into drain plug? Done subscribe by the way.
Yes.in most cases, your oil might leak without a washer
Thanks for subscribing!
should you remove filter before re installing plug ?
Hello! It’s up to you.I’m removing the filter once I drained all the oil on the pan first.Much easier and not gonna create more mess.
is the oil tank on the bottom located at divers side or passengers side?
More on the passenger side

I’ve check the oil again once it warms up.Just didn’t show it on my vid
@@yashiroku 5qrts if you’re not putting oil on your filter. But if you put oil on your oil filter before putting it back,it’ll be around 4.5quarts
Great video, 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼. What engine do you have in your Juke?
It’s 1.6L turbo engine
The Juke only came with a 1.6 turbo.
Stupid question and my first time i ever did an oil change but to unscrew is it left or right?
All good!Remember righty tighty lefty loosey.Unscrew going to the left
Super helpful, thanks!
THANKS for the info brother. is that a 2011 juke? were di you got those things that go on the roof of the car?
Hello! This is 2012 but it’s all the same process for change oil.The roof rack i bought it from somebody.Got really cheap but for brand new that’s for the juke,it’ll cost you around $300.The wind fairing,I just bought from amazon as well as the ski rack
I used do do that like you on parking lot.
I’m doing the change oil usually in walmart parking lot lol
How many litre of oil do I need?
Depends. If you prefill the filter, usually you just need 4qt of oil
Hi sir which engine oli use in nissan juke 2015 model.. 150k km... 5w20.5w30 ya 5w40 5w50.... And who many old put inside 3.5 ya 4 litter
Adil Bangash hello! Most nissan juke take 5w-30 but to be sure, refer to your owner’s manual book
Sir i am useing 5w20 oil
How many put litter inside engine oli
Adil Bangash 4.5 quarts ( 4.2 liters ) if you will include the oil you put on the oil filter or 5 quarts if you exclude the oil in the oil filter
No need to prefill oil filter just a little oil around the filter gasket.
No.You need to fill oil on the filter so when you start the car after changing the oil,it’s not going to have a rough time.
Actually, you are both correct. It doesn't really matter either way.
what year and model is this, I'm looking for a 2019 1.5 diesel oil change video
This is 2012 1.6
@@Wanderrap THANKS,
No problem!
Is the copper crush washer required? Just changed oil and forgot to put mine on.
As long as it’s not leaking, you’ll be fine
@@Wanderrap yeah it was leaking a few droplets an hour. Had to redo the oil. Copper Crush Washer sealed it tight this time.
178k Miles on original engine and transmission. 2012 Juke
Mine right now is reading 175k miles as well ( March 22,2022 ) still running like a champ!
Why use high mileage oil .. how many miles do you have on it please?
When i did this,I already have 120k miles on my juke. Now,it’s 140k.That’s why I used the high mileage
Thanks.... I have 107 000 km on my cube z12
@@deniscleary13 you don’t need to use high mileage on your car yet. That’s 66k miles on your car
Thanks for taking the time I appreciate that
well done. sir how many liters is engine oil we need to replenish
Hello! It’s 4.5 quarts. But to make sure, oil should be between the notches on the dipstick.Run it a few minutes before you check it again
Great video!
Appreciate the feedback👌🏻
My nissan juke milleg is 80000 with oil is good for use.10w 40 or 5w 30
Sardar Nasir hello! The best advise is check with your owner’s manual. What’s the year of your nissan juke?Mine is 2012 and my engine oil is recommended in my manual
where do you find your Drain Plug gasket/washer from?
You mean where do i buy it?Just in amazon
@@Wanderrap so just search drain plug gasket 2014 Nissan juke?
@@CarlosBadCo just search oil drain plug gasket crush washer seal on Amazon. It’s a one size fit for all the nissan juke
@@CarlosBadCo yes. They are all one size
Nismo models are 4.5quats & non-Nismo are 4.8quarts
I have Nismo RS 5 quarts full sintétic
The copper crush washer/gasket for the drain plug....another dumb idea by Nissan.
For real👍🏻
The dumbest idea from Nissan was to stop production of the Silvia and produce these jukes instead…
You need 5w -40 over 100k miles
No.It’s 5w-30.Check your owner’s manual.I don’t think it’s a different oil after 100k miles
125,000 miles!
metallicsonorlars it’s 133,000 now lol.Been driving a lot with this car across the country
@@Wanderrap how is the CVT going? Any issues?
metallicsonorlars none for a year now after I did cvt fluid exchange. Before,i kept losing power especially when driving uphill. Now,it’s driving well with great power even on driving normal mode
@@Wanderrap how many little
Adil Bangash little what?you mean liter?it’s 4 quarts if you put some oil on the filter as well
NEVER FILL an oil filter like this. Put it on run the car, re add oil.
That’s how I do it.8 years later,still running like a champ🤷🏻♂️
