Hi guys I have a question that maybe you can light me up.. the thing is that I have a 2 players bartop with Pandora box and I will like to have Pandora box (home edition) and a PC its that posible? What do I need to do it so? Im lost some how
Great video! I’m after a little more help if possible. I’ve bought buttons with internal switch and LED. These buttons have four connectors but don’t have any instruction or markings as what wires go to where. I’m wanting to wire this so I have two buttons doing the same action. The top RT will be used in arcade games but another side RT button will be a flipper in virtual pinball. In total it will be a two player top console with 8 buttons each and a coin and P1 and P2 start each plus right and left flipper buttons a nudge button and a ball launch on the front. Just need help on how to wire these four pin buttons so they work and light up.
What slots do you plug your admin buttons to? I am using 7 out of the 8 SW slits for player buttons so I only have SW8 and 1A and 1B but that’s not working well for me.
Admin buttons would be things like, Shutdown, Exit Game, M.A.M.E Menu (like pressing 'Tab'), maybe Pause, or Mute... I suppose anything you want it to be or need.
I like to put mine centered in the panel. It's really up to you where you would like it to go, but in the center makes the most sense to me. Balances out the incoming wires.
Great explanations! I wish my high school math teacher were as good! :) Never seen this 4-way setup before - that's quite genius. Do you know if there's a restrictor plate or other solution for Q-bert which ONLY uses the diagonals? (maybe a way to physically rotate a 4-way joystick to and from a 45-degree rotation?)
Great video. Just got your 4 player pedestal cabinet and been having some questions come up. This is perfect. One issue I did have is the connectors for the sanwa sticks are too short to reach the ipac no matter where I place it. What is the best way to extend these wires?
That was awesome thanks dude!!! I like the idea of admin buttons and also an accessible volume wheel potentiometer and the various on/off buttons. Also seen people use smart switches to fire it up via google/Alexa. I notice some units also have the pinball side buttons which are cool - any ideas on an extension to this video would be well received. New sub, cheers.
How would you change your joy stick when playing Qbert? That is a 4 way but goes diagonally? I am building an arcade machine and I was not sure if there is a way to change that joystick for that game. I will be playing so many other games that do not use the 4 way diagonal only.
Hi, can you customize your layout? I don't see an 8 button layout option on your site for the full 32? Also what encoder is best if you want to play PC fighting games? I think the keyboard encoders have a problem with 2 players and need an xinput emulator.
Thanks for explaining this basics. That is very good :-) My questions as beginner are: I am more a casual gamer. I am searching for a button layout for playing virtual pinball games (1 player), racing games (1 player) and some other casual games for 1 or 2 players?. Is it also possible to have a wheel for racing games (vertical would be best) that can be attached or detached? (to have more space, if you play a fight game or pac man)?
Didn’t help at all, I got referred to this video from game room solutions about a lot of my games not working with the mod kit that they sent to me. Now they are trying to make me do all the technical crap that I have no clue about. This company has not treated me well and I will not be conducting business with them after this. I would still love to know how to play all the games that they promised me that I would be able to just plug in and play. False advertisement at it’s finest
Also the customer support is less than desirable, they are little to no help and will send you mis-colored buttons. I order 4 different color buttons but I received green and blue buttons. All in all horrible experience and do not recommend doing business with them, unless you want a headache dealing with them.
This is a great addition for the emulation community. Really cool of you to make videos like this. Thank you for all you do!
I think a video about setting up and configuring admin buttons would be greatly appreciated by the community
That would depend on what software you are using. Retropie, launchbox, hyperspin, etc.
@@Gameroomsolutions I second that. As a noob I want to do one and do it properly. Thanks for your vids again. Cheers
Great video. You explained this so perfectly. Thank you for taking the time to explain.
Yo how great is this video. I have been doing so much research and this is the easiest way to explain my layout
Great vid. Wish i found this earlier, would have saved me piecing this all together for myself and saved time.
Great explanation.
Great Video! Not too simple and not overcomplicated! just perfect
Do you guys have a video on mapping the admin buttons?

May I know how to connect the same buttons and lever to JAMMA harness without USB decoder?
MY dude!! thanks for this sweet info
Thank you

Can you talk about the admin buttons?
are those all linked the 1st player? or are they linked to the 2nd player as well on the usb encoder?
Admin buttons would be things like, Shutdown, Exit Game, M.A.M.E Menu (like pressing 'Tab'), maybe Pause, or Mute... I suppose anything you want it to be or need.
Can the iPac 4 also support LED buttons? If not how would you wire one? Just with a 12V power cord for example?
Yes, 12v power supply and a led harness for button lights.
Can you guys do a mortal kombat 3 button layout, I'm thinking about making a dedicated mortal kombat 2 cab.
Yes. gameroomsolutions.com/shop/arcade-cabinet-kit-the-fatality/
On that 4 player example. Where would you physically mount the ipac?

Good video if using the same type of micro switches that you have, but I don't use those switches.
Great video. Just got your 4 player pedestal cabinet and been having some questions come up. This is perfect. One issue I did have is the connectors for the sanwa sticks are too short to reach the ipac no matter where I place it. What is the best way to extend these wires?
Any wire. Speaker works which a lot of people have laying around.
@@Gameroomsolutions sounds good. Thanks

That is why most people have a 2nd stick in 4 way mode all the time.
Where do pinball buttons plug into?

Hey can you guys make a atgames legends ultimate drop in control deck with a built-in raspberry pi?
