Personally, I think Rainbow Dash or Princess Luna should have gotten 1. They make the show awesome! Plus, they are my favorite characters!

My favourite characters are Sunset, Twilight and Applejack. Personally, for 1st, it should be Sunset. Here's why: In Springbreak down, she saves Rainbow Dash from a giant equestrian plant monster(And that is what a good friend does) and in Holidays Unwrapped, she sticks by Pinkie Pie the whole way, even sacrificing herself so Pinkie can get there in time. And in Legend of Everfree, she helps Twilight defeat Midnight Sparkle by talking to her. And in Forgotten friendship, she sacrificed her memories, that's true friendship. Sunset is also very loyal, brave and kind and is the most empathetic character in the series. She is also strong and serious, and is willing to help anyone, even her favourite band, PostCrush, although, she can be overdramatic and competitive when it comes to games, especially video games.

Dash is my absolute favorite so I was so happy when she got #2! But as soon as I saw Rarity in the list my mind said "Pinkie is gonna be on top"
I think Twilight Sparkle & her friends are all great characters especially Spike the Dragon & MsMojo should create another video about Spike & the adventures he’s been although he make mistakes sometimes but he does helps out his Pony friends whenever they’re in trouble like in episode Molt Down the day he got his new wings & helped Twilight saved Rarity & Zecora the Zebra from the Roc it was AWESOME!🇺🇸🐉❤️🔥✨🌈😎👍🏻

For me best Rainbowdash's scene was in "Sleepless in Ponyville" Episode. When she saved Scootaloo and said that can be her sister. It was amazing!

In my opinion, both Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash are best ponies. However, all the other characters are great too.

Sunset Shimmer and Discord are the reason I started to like MLP. (them and the Dazzlings, too) Glad they made it to this list.

At first I didn't like Equestria Girls that much, but fr, after I re-watched it, the Dazzlings made me love it so much.

I really love Fluttershy’s character development throughout the series. She just became so much more confident and assertive. (Just another reason why I love her, as I relate to her a lot.)

Spike and Discord have new voice actors in Pony Life, the same ones who voice Rarity and Big Macintosh. I think it is no coincidence that Cathy Weseluck and John De Lancie opted out of that reboot when they both voice dragon characters. I.e. not the ponies in *Pony Life.*
Twilight has always been my favorite since Episode 1, and seeing her kick ass in the Season 4 Finale cemented her in the number 1 spot FOREVER! lol

Good list, Pinkie Pie at number 1 may be a little hard to defend but I think she deserves it. Don't know if I'd put Discord above half the mane six, or put Rarity at number seven. Also, think you could've squeezed in a few more honorable mentions, at least for Big Macintosh and Starlight Glimmer.

That's truly a surprise! Usually in Top lists like that it is Rainbow Dash who is on the first place.
But I can't believe that Spike is higher than Sunset in this ranking! I would have thought that it is the direct opposite.
And I expected that Discord would appear on this list. This came true.

Spike, the dragon is the only male main character of this series, but he still has a female voice actor. I always thought that Party Favor from The Cutie Map should have been a new main character because he would get a long so well with Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy, and he is *a pony* who has a male voice actor. I would really like to see him make more cool stuff out of balloons. Besides, Sam Vincent was also a main character in Littlest Pet Shop with Tabitha Saint Germain, Pac-Man with Andrea Libman, and both of the above with Ashleigh Ball. I do not think Cathy Weseluck was erasing boys, but this is the kind of show where...misrepresenting the gender might be an issue. This is why Sandy Cheeks, the only female primary character of Spongebob, does not have a male voice actor trying to sound like a tomboy girl. What is the point of having a token boy if he is not the same species and you get a female actor to voice him? At least Spike *sounds* less girly than Junior from VeggieTales and Timmy from The Fairly OddParents.
For the record, some other interesting stories I knew I could make of Party Favor are - he makes a party with Pinkie Pie for Rainbow's birthday, Rainbow finds out that she is in love with him and does some fun things with him on Hearts and Hooves Day, and Party also has a twin brother voiced by Carolyn Lawrence who grew up never discovering his own talents. I wanted to give Carolyn a new voice role outside of Spongebob Squarepants, and she has voiced other boy characters before in Spongebob Squarepants and Morel Orel. September 4, 2020, 11:26am

ACtually...I think that honor goes to some of the worse characters like Spoiled Rich or some of the not-so-popular one-off characters. Or if we want to talk abuot recurring characters...Flash Sentry would be higher on the hated characters list.

Krystal Huntress I think you're generalizing a bit too much. Princess Celestia is loved by many a fan (including me); in fact, one of the most desired episodes the fandom wants to see is a Celestia focused episode.
Personally I don't like Celestia that much. Insert standard Anti-Celestia argument here. But I would also love to have a Celestia episode. I may even end up liking her as a result.
