In this short video, Matt shows you how to clean the printhead of an Epson EcoTank ET-2700. This is essential knowledge for resolving almost any print quality issue with your printer, from missing colours to striped prints, we recommend doing this first.
Cleaning in this way does use up black, cyan, magenta and yellow ink from the 103 refill bottles used to refill the reservoir, so be sure to use this function of your Epson EcoTank ET-2700 series printer sparingly.
Although we have used the Epson EcoTank ET-2700 specifically in this video, the process remains the same for the Epson EcoTank ET-2710 and additional printers in the L4150 series.
We hope you have found this guide useful. Be sure to also keep up with us on Facebook (on. hZ1r4T) and Twitter (bit.ly/gtJNlw).

A million thanks. Tried various methods as per RUclips all afternoon & then found your fix at 19.00 hours. Mere minutes later all is well.

Excellent! Just what I needed. The thing is though I run my printer every week doing a test page (to keep the ink flowing) . During this last week I printed around 20 pages and the magenta and cyan stopped printing. The tanks are still 80% full. I've done the print head clean today 4 times and it's not helping. Do you have any suggestions?

After doing the cleaning repeatedly over and over - must have been 10 or more times it's now working well again!

For future reference for anyone looking; there’s a heavy duty clean cycle that can be run once every 6 months or something like that. It tends to fix these issues well. However, the standard cleaning can be run as many times as you want, so it can be preferable sometimes.

Hi- losing my mind with this - I have a Epson ET-21711 printer and nmy colours suddenly stopped printing (only yellow, green and black seems ok ish). Done loads of nozzle cleaning, deep clean etc from the maintenance and just tried the refresh as per vid. The tanks are near full so that's not the issue. Printing a rainbow image as a test shows line, and red, orange, blue and purple are not what it should be. PLEASE Help/Advise. Thnks😩
