I couldn't tell you how many times I've listened to Exit Stage Left.... this trio of songs. Easily a thousand plus times. Never have I heard anyone cover this even close to you guys. Rush has been my favorite band for the last 35 years. My ex girlfriend literally reached out to me 20 years after we broke up to say "sorry, I heard Neil died. I know how much he meant to you". (I shit you not about that, and no I did not tell my wife she did that 🤫) Rush's music really has been a moving force in my life and anyone close to me knows that, so when I say, you guys have done them a great justice, I couldn't mean that more. And I'm very sorry that the RUclips algorithm doesn't make this channel more visible to the Rush fan base, because they are missing out on something very special. I sincerely believe all 3 of those guys would be smiling ear to ear watching you honor them playing their songs this well. Anyways.... VERY well done. Thank you for posting this and your others. They have been added to my favorites. 👍👍
@teddyray9336 Hi. You are correct. Also, G1 clears on bottoms. There isn’t really a specific tuning interval. Just were I feel the drum sounds good. This was also mentioned by Todd Sucherman.
I cannot believe how good and talented you guys but keep up the good work back in the seventies I would have never dreamed that somebody like you guys whatever pop up
Wow nailed it !! I just realized why I enjoy watching great musicians play in split screen, it allows my to see every instrument including voice individually but collectively as well, it's a great addition to the music world. Thank you for brightening my day !!
Man this is so good! A true band effort and you really captured the live sound of that album. I'm always jealous of the one who gets to play Geddy's parts on bass, esp. on a Rickenbacker, awesome stuff!
I'm not a big fan of cover versions but damn, this is impressive! You guys nailed the sound and the playing (from all of you) is just outstanding. Love it!
it is absolutely criminal this doesnt have 1000s if not 100s of 1000s of views, brilliant people just brilliant...Subscribed, easiest button click ive ever done.
OUTSTANDING. ESL has been this retired drummer's favorite Rush release for years. Excellent reproduction and the female singer was a better choice than having a male trying to hit the high end vocals unsuccessfully, as in most cases.
Great job. I am incredibly picky and snooty when it comes to RUSH covers but you did well.... No band will ever capture the pure majesty that is RUSH but you came as close as mere mortals can !!
There was some cover band with a similar setup that did Hemispheres that was excellent. Can’t remember who they were though. Would have been two or three years ago that I saw the video.
is it possible that Alex & Geddy have watched you guys & click'd a "like"? Hope so! ...and you are SO FINE ON CHEMISTRY cover too ciao. And Hemispheres Book II wow.
Yah to me Neil this is his best drumming on Xanadu very beautiful stuff he did back in the day and if anyone doesn’t know this Rush wrote most of their songs and material while they were on the road touring 😀
@@craigwelton6944 I won't request a specific song but if it's from the '70's or 80's, that'll be just fine with me. What fascinated me was your ability to capture the unique phrasing and feel (that most players can't quite reproduce) so choose the more difficult songs. Instrumentals are very welcome too!!
@@alan2112drums We appreciate you recognizing our attention to detail, Alan! We do our best to reproduce our hero's performance and sound. An instrumental may be coming out in the future. Please subscribe.
Nice job guys. Perfect tones on all the instruments. The mix was a tiny bit hot on the vocals but not a big deal cause she sounds great and you're all awesome players. Thumbs up.👍😉
@@simes2112 to me it looks like something Gandalf would wear while traveling Middle Earth. Hahaha Don't get me wrong it's cool, and she's beautiful in it, it just has that unusual thing to it. Especially for comedy!
How did the guitar player go from plucking the string to playing with the knob in the intro to Xanadu and the sound effect was the same? Why is the guitar and bass spot on identical to the original recording? What is that woman wearing?🤣
Precision plus. The drummer... Jesus Christ... exactly the way Neil played it that tour. (We'll give him a pass on using electronic temple blocks and cowbells however... HA!)
Dude, did you think you were watching Rush? Cut some freaking slack ... these guys are fantastic and I don't see many people even attempting to do this. Pull your head out.
The drum player just kicks ass whoever you guys are I love you

Nobody performs rush songs beautifully like you do.

The bass player nailed Geddy’s tone from Exit Stage Left.
The drummer is excellent! They all are.
Many thanks Chris!

Once upon a time I could kind of play Broon's Bane. I will try again after hearing how good this sounds.
This is fantastic. The drummer. Wow. All of you are great. Massive kudos to getting that all right. Keep em coming
Thanks Neil!
Still to this day, it amazes me how 3 guys could make that music that they did. No disrespect to the video, you guys rock!
Many thanks. Rush will be studied for a very long time. They were so unique.

Nice work! You picked the best three song progression in Rock history. Phenomenal job. Xanadu was insane!
Many thanks John. We started with just Xanadu as a concept. Ray suggested do all 3. It was a good call on his part.
Outstanding job! Loved to listen to these great songs once again.
Thanks John!
A fine tribute to Neil’s memory! Bravo!

YOU.ALL.NAILED.IT Closest thing to Rush I've ever heard. Where are y'all from?
Wow - if y'all ever make it to the southeast....
Ladies and gentlemen, Jesse The Body Ventura on Keyboard.
Amazing cover. I feel like the drummer stole the show; who is this guy?
What the hell is she wearing...some wizard outfit. Sounds great...good technical cover 👏👏
Like rush much ? LMAO you guys are great 👍😇😁✌️keep it up. I grew up on this stuff oh yeah
Many thanks Donald.
Hi from Brasil! Veri nice!!! Can you record a cover of my favorite Rush song, "Red Barchetta"?
Thank you Marcelo. I could see us doing more of Moving Pictures. Great song! Limelight has been done. ruclips.net/video/ag52yUjibkA/видео.html
Just because the reverb control goes up to 10, doesn't mean it HAS to be set at 10.
Point taken. We tried to create the reverb like on ESL. Not a studio version.
♫!!!👍
Many thanks!!
What they don't make real cowbells anymore? JK great job all you guys and girl!!
Playing is excellent production is where the sound differs because of the mix....no one had a better production mix than the actual rush band had
Hey Mark. We tried to mix the ESL version with a live sound, unlike the studio. Thanks for watching!
Well done very good! Great musicians on a hard band to cover!

Sounded great😅 i was wondering, was the singer being eaten alive by a onezy, i hope not.😂🧸
Drummer just needs a bigger kit like Neil peart had
LOL.. Always could add a few more for sure!
He played Broons bane wrong and some of the vital notes were incorrect.

I appreciate what you're doing, but WAY TOO MANY effects ..... delay and reverb, are ruining an otherwise great performance
