      Hell yeah!! Just approach like a package unit/split system, but just a box and you’ll be good 🫡

      How was it?

      It was great. Got to look everything over, check the charge and delta T on both stages, clean the coils etc. they asked to come back for the next PM. However there were alot of wasps and a few nests inside which really slowed me down. I'm going to have to get more experience dealing with them.@@sickmike0739

      @@KoolinwithKrauss also what were you checking with your multimeter?

    • @KoolinwithKrauss
      @KoolinwithKrauss  5 месяцев назад +1

      Go about it in the same way imo! I just was checking the volts and amps. Also for split systems bit of a pain because 2 separate components to deal with. But just check over it all!

    I have a question feel free to not answer. When you go do quarterly maintenance do you always clean the coils or do you have to get it approve by the customer? Anyways great video, it’s always cool to see what other techs do during there maintenance.

      So we give them a good rinse. I use a little sprayer and spray er down even if it’s just “soft wash” appreciate you watching 🫡

      Yeah we check them all as SOP for all maintenance, ensure that we’ve done what we needed if something happens between services

      We're doing a 2nd one (did one a couple years ago) soon, and was hoping you'd done a few of them and had an easier way that pulling the whole top off.
      We're not a TRANE dealer, we have Carrier with the 'Eco Blu' fan motors on the small RTU's - it's less than a 5min job to replace the blowers on those.
