Tauros representing my country is pretty accurate, since Spain has bullfighting and bull running activities.

It would’ve been better if Egypt is Lucario as he’s one of the most popular Pokémon and it was similar to an Anubis
That’s if you look too closely to the country’s national or historical context. But it’s easier to choose a self explanatory Pokémon like Cofagrigus.
I personally thought infernape should’ve been chosen for china because of its iconic martial arts, and being based off sun wukong (a fictional character in Chinese legends), but I can see why they chose Pangoro instead.

fun fact: actually "orang guru" was inspired by the primate "orang utan" which is only found in Indonesia and Malaysia, specifically on the Kalimantan/borneo island, but there is no data regarding orangutans found in Brunei (as far as I know) but it doesn't rule out the possibility even though it is said small but most commonly found in Indonesia, because Indonesia's territory on the Borneo island dominates 2/3 of the island, and not only orang utan can be found on the Borneo island, they can also be found on the Sumatra island in Indonesia
