This tree introduces the history of legendary Pokemons from Generation I to Generation VIII. This is not a official Pokemon Bible entry of Nintendo, but it is the closest we’ve got.

He was too busy worried about fence he stucked up in.

Lets be real, him being a "God" of all the pokemon universe is more likely a myth in-game than fact, those three "creation gods" are just simply not as powerful as the myths claim they are.
The fact about him being just, an egg in a pre-big-bang type state, is also likely to be an in-game total myth.
Just like how groudon and kyogre were said to create the whole hoenn region, and that also turned out to just be completely untrue.

Catching a legendary Pokémon is like strolling into Mount Olympus and casually kidnapping a god.
That kinda happened. Sisyphus locked Thanatos (the greek god of death) in a closet and he couldn't escape so nobody was able to die for awhile.

They created the universe, but a 10 year old kid can capture them.
In the case of Arceus, it's incredibly likely that you only have one of its avatars, which is humoring you due to a lack of any universe creation taking place in the last couple ever.
In the case of the creation trio, it is similarly very likely that your ball is only a suggestion to them. The three are fully capable of exiting without your knowledge, and likely do so to continue their maintenance of creation.

Groudon and Kyogre are very powerful but they're very destructive as well, they're forces of nature, not guardians.
I see it this way: Kyogre and Groudon are literally the sea and land; untamable, unpredictable and raw, they kinda do their own things but they also gave life to Earth. Lugia and Regigigas are born from their elements and took on the role of shaping, defending and protecting. Ho-oh has the same role as them but was born from Rayquaza only. These three appear to give help, guidance and to protect the world, that makes them guardians of the Earth by definition imo.
Rayquaza is a _very special_ case. It's the ultimate guardian: not just of the skies or the Earth but also of life, of Arceus and the original trio as well. That's why it's a dragon, I believe. In Japanese mythology, dragons came right after the origin of the world, they're a symbol of strength, power, wisdom, happiness, immortality and perseverance, they bring harmony and are protectors of even the gods.
So I see it as Arceus at the top, then the creating trio, Kyogre and Groudon who are the elements themselves, and Rayquaza who keeps everything in a balance and is the protector of it all.
So yeah, I'd say Lugia, Regigigas and Ho-oh are the general guardians of the Earth, its living beings and its Legendaries while Groudon and Kyogre pretty much symbolise Earth and Rayquaza is the "big daddy guardian" who protects it all.
In conclusion, poor Rayquaza is probably overworked af. Might explain why Ho-oh, Lugia and Regigigas are a thing... Ray needed to delegate a bit :P

Lets be real here, it makes sense that arceus and his children let humans catch them now and again. I mean it gets pretty boring just chilling in the next plane of existence with nobody else to talk to.
People keep saying „powerful gods until a 10 year old catches them and commands them like pets“, but I honestly believe more that the legendaries PURPOSELY let themselves get caught by trainers, befriending them. They get to hang out with them, they want something new, rather than doing their „job“ to keep the universe stable or whatever. It makes more sense to me that way.

I would say the chicken as it wouldn’t be possible for any creature to lay a egg to create a dinosaur or chicken during that time period.Most if this meaning Bactria would evolve into different creatures such as monkeys which are our ancestors and most likely a non evolved chicken looking creature who would later become our main source of food.

Pretty cool that Kyogre and Rayquaza made Luigi. Does that mean Groudon and Rayquaza made Mario?
ehhh, it's more a connection as Lugia (yes, I know you're making a joke about the spelling error) as Lugia falls under the domain of Kyogre, the sea.
Ho-oh also tends to fit more under Rayquaza's domain of the sky while the Legendary Golems fall under Groudon's domain.
The only reason I can think that Rayquaza is connected at all with Lugia is due to Rayquaza being the master of the Weather Trio. Thus would have a connection to Manaphy, Phione, and all of the Legendary Golems as well.

But lore wise it is speculated it has a strong tie to them and the main reason it isn't a UB (lore wise) is because if hasn't been observed to travel by ultra wormholes to travel between dimensions. So it isn't technically a UB lore wise that is literally because of a technicality about not having enough info.....
But you know, even if we go full black/white and disregard the ties it has to UB canonically, even if we disregard that it has the only 3 primary characteristics of UB lore wise and that the only reason it isn't was because the devs chose to have the beast balls work differently on them from all other pokemon from other dimensions.
Then considering the fact that it travels between dimensions unaided (as far as observed) would still hold a pretty big tie to the element of Space.

Some of those are mythicals, a sub group of legendaries so not actually pure legendaries. Some of them jave nothing to do with creation or havent been explained
The Ultra Beasts wouldn’t even be remotely entangled In this (same should go for necrozma) since they aren’t even from the same main universe like the other Pokémon
