Love this hat and pattern. I did struggle with the joining bit and had to rip it back a few times because I kept missing a fpdc, but once I'd figured it out (me being an idiot) it was plain sailing. I did it in a solid colour and made the ribbing longer. It's so squishy and soft. Thank you

I haven't been able to find "double knit" yarn, so I'm in the middle of making an adult version of the child pattern, using a pony-tail opening instead of closing the magic circle. I'm about halfway done and it's looking great! Thanks for ALL your postings!

Are you in the UK? The yarn is so easy to get. It's 3 ply I think in some countries. Hope it helps.

I really like the way it start from the top. If you want to do this same hat in an adult size starting at the top how many chains would you start with in the magic circle. I did your other adult pattern starting with the ripped. I would really like to try this for an adult. Thanks

How is it that your DK yarn crochets so thick? I bought DK specifically for this hat, but it’s not even close to being so thick.
Dk yarn actually differs from company to company I have Paton dk baby yarn which finer than regular DK yarn of the same company
