I'm fourteen and I have spectacles and have the effect of a lazy eye so it looks like my eye strays of course I don't want my eye to look like this
Dr. Pang what happens if the two images getting to the brain from each year are different in size? Can this be corrected with lenses? How could a lense measure the image size difference?
I would never EVER want to get rid of my lazy eye, Sometimes it makes me upset but I would not want to get rid of it! Its one of my flaws but I love it!

I can handle this type of lazer treatment. I was worried before I saw this video. I have a floater and lazy eye on my left side that bothers me when I am working on computer. I use eye drops to make it through the day. I have finally made my appt. to see an Optometrist.

I think I might have this. I definitely have a dominant eye. I can barely see out of my right eye. Everything is way darker. Even the colors look different. But if you were to look at me you wouldn't be able to tell. I don't have crooked or drooping eye

@@williamknutson6163 I drive a transfer truck for a local landscaping supply company. I’ve been driving truck for 40 years every time I have to go in and do the eye test it’s a bitch. Now the new standards is minimum20/40 in both eyes for commercial drivers. I am almost at the end of my career another four years ago

Marie Moukahal I would suggest eating a diet with plenty of vitamin A while also doing eye strengthening exercises. Wearing an eye patch (covering correct eye)during the exercises. Take time to do this everyday and you will see results overtime and ultimately correct your vision. Reading, going out for observant nature walks, and doing specific divergence, convergence exercises helps. Another thing to do is follow an object (your finger, birds , anything really) left from right up and down , and everywhere in between to keep your eye movement fluid and receptive. It will take time, and its crucial to do whatever you can to keep your eyes relaxed during the process. Overall, exercise(with eye patch and without) and diet will improve your lazy eye.

Thank you, but no, I did not get any answer....I did see Neurologist, Ophthalmologist, Neuro-Ophthalmologist but now any answer...hopefully there is someone out there help me to regain my sight please..

rennexoxo nothing cause there is no solutions at the moment for people above 8 years
Newer studies hint at neoneurogenesis within the brain even in adults. So there still is some hope. Even if you don’t end up regaining normal vision in the affected eye you might be able to improve stereovision and better depth perception with continued vision therapy. There are numerous games and apps both in the apple ad android app stores that help you work the lazy eye. I’m amblyopic myself and I’ve just started with occlusion therapy. I’ll keep you updated on my progress if you’re interested.
