Ahhh, I remember the day my first Vitamix arrived. (2011) I was beyond excited! 🤩 And yes, it's loud...it's supposed to be, it's a blender. The powerful motor blends everything quickly and efficiently so you don't need to run it for very long. My 120lb dog sings along every time it's on high speed which makes far more noise! 😂 Great info here Henry, love that you put up this video. 😊
Thank you so much for this video Henry! I was ready to do a warranty claim with Vitamix over that growl! I thought I stripped the bearings out of it or something and there was an awful burning smell at the same time while making hummus. It’s brand new so your video explains it all. Thank you!!

Thanks to watching your earlier videos I knew it made noise also because I had other blenders. My A3500 came in both brown box and Picture box inside. High end machines are LOUD!!!
Very true Jen! There are others that posted the exact same thing as you. It's quite understandable for a high performance motor-based kitchen appliance to be loud, especially when it's of commercial grade. I always appreciate your input on my videos. 😍

Yes,VitaMix can be the chainsaw in the kitchen.Fortunately doesn't last for long.I do have the Quiet One and its worth the price if you want things quieter.The Stainless steel jar makes the Quiet one even quieter!I like all of my Vita-mixers and use them in turn.

Hi Steve! Thanks for watching. I often use Valencia peanuts. They aren't found everywhere. I buy mine at a specialty grocery store that is only in the area where I live. You may find Valencia peanuts online.

Nice video, Henry! Is the container you made the peanut butter in a dry or a wet container? Does it matter what container you use when making butters? (I know there are different types of containers based on what you are making); but one may only have the container that came with the Vitamix.😮
Yes the peanut butter is made with the wet blade container. The wet blade comes with all Vitamix machines so you can make nut butters right out of the box. If the dry was used it would've made peanut flour rather than butter. 😊
I end up buying a sound dampening enclosure for my 3500, because I live in an apartment. LIFE HACK you could always do a DIY with sound enclosure foam inserts and a simple wood or plexiglass box enclosure.

You are awesome! Thanks for the compliment. I drink about 3 gallons of water a day so it helps keep the skin clean. I haven't thought about a skincare channel though. People with "model looks" would perhaps be best suited for that. 😍

Where did you find your enclosure?
Just be sure the blender can still “breathe”; move air in and out to help cool the motor… Otherwise it can prematurely overheat.
