The best blender is the one you use most often. If I had the money I would have gone with something like the Vitamix 36019 - "Vita-Mix Quiet One" as in the one version that has a hood/cover to reduce noise.
What would you choose between an A3500 and an X4 or X5? I am tempted to get theA3500 for the bigger container and get the 48 oz stainless steel. Also, do the containers stain at all with oily ingredients?
When choosing the right machine break it down the way I did @18:50. Between those three you have to put together your needs and what each machine does, then add price into the equation. Our uses may differ which could result in a choice of a machine the other doesn't need. I haven't tried the Nuwave Infinity but I can tell you first hand that motor strength isn't a serious factor at all. It's about the blade design, and Vitamix has forged steel blades with an exclusive design that no other has matched in my testing.

How does the Vitamix machine compare to the Nuwave Infinity? Nuwave has a stronger motor in most cases but i don't know if that matters. Opinion?
