    I have a uncle in Mumbai he got retired now and have 2 apartments he live in one and one is on rent which pay him 75 k and same time my father lives in village and buyed a land which was very cheap that time when we was young and now we sold that for over a crore. Which i feel is very good rate to get.

      Thane aur Navi Mumbai ke periphery me kuch gaav hai.
      Proper Mumbai me kaha se plot milega ab.

    Hi, We have one plot in Undri, Pune but presently we live in our Sinhgad Road ( Close to Center City) in a 2 BHK flat that we own. We are debating if we should build a house on this plot or sell the plot. We are happy where we live and the distance between Undri to Sinhgad Road is long. Should we sell the plot and invest the money in the retirement? We are middle class family.

    Hey, are you sure on tax on plot? Logically shouldn't it be only on capital gain? Atleast on agriculture land, tax is only on capital gain. Why plot is different.

      yes it should only be on profit earned on selling the plot.
