So mid April I buckled down no books purchased I'm not into books. I eat, sleep, go to stupid overnight and I purchased on Amazon lion's mane supplements. I used all the materials abd lectures provided to me from CyberNow Labs. The lead instructor Harun Seker did exam reviews for us, mock exams, simulation. He broke it all down saud test was easy go do it. I finally got over my dear finished in 35-40mins. My test was 2:45 and my class still made it to class before 4pm. It felt good to pass May was akways a bad month. It's the same month my mom passed away 2yrs ago a week after Mother's Day. My father in law, his mom was same year but a week before my mom. My in law 13yrs ago around Memorial Day weekend. I told my wife time to end may on positive note. If I can do it, anyone can, I turn fear & anger into my motivation to SUCCEED. Now even though I passed, I'm still going to study. It was getting annoying getting behind on my current hands-on experience. Sorry for the rant just had coffe at midnight 😵💫😬
@ZDamian407 As for I.T no just a good instructor that came and prepared u well going over the exam. How to understand the questions it didn't sink in for awhile and I took lions mane and sleep and keep doing the mock exams 8x a day or every 2hrs. I have 20yrs I animation field but transitioning into cyber right now.
In question 50, I read two answers differently: 1) "Fire safety mechanisms should fail open" - you interpreted this as the door locks, I interpreted this to mean that the fire suppression system will dump the chemical it has into the data center, potentially killing everyone. 2) "External gateway access points should fail closed" - you interpreted this as firewalls, but I interpreted this as physical gateways used to enter into the building. I chose A for question 50 because locking the OUTSIDE doors in case of a failure is more secure. Otherwise an attacker could cause a failure in order to gain entry into the building. I guess this all depends on what a "Fire safety mechanism" encompasses.
Interesting. I wanted to argue against this at first but you're kinda right. I think in a hypothetical it's safe to assume that the fire safety is probably the average suppressant system like sprinklers, which are unlikely to kill everybody lol but yeah it all seems a little bit too unspecific to come to a 100% clear conclusion
Thank you very much for this video, I am almost done studying cyber security through Coursera and will be taking my security + exam. Your videos helped me a lot prepare for the SY0-701 exam, thank you!

I like how you broke the question down looking at key words and using process of elimination. This taught me a different way of taking this test or any test if I'm unsure about the question. Looking at the answers compare it to whats being asked. great job.
Multiple choice 101 is working backwards from the answers :) It's pretty easy to make sense of the question in context to the right answer a lot of the time for many subjects. There will often be 2 groups of 2 similar answers, or 2 outliers that are easy to eliminate. Good luck!
Thank you! for connecting the dots and process of elimination & I hit like and subscribed as well. currently, preparing for getting CompTIA security +.

Hello teacher! For the question No.36, I believe C. Scaling in a secure manner is the better answer because it directly addresses the security aspect of scaling, which is highlighted as a critical factor in the scenario. Scaling in a secure manner, however, directly addresses the problem described in the scenario-managing secure infrastructure scaling during peak usage times. What's your say? No Stress:)

I am eagerly anticipating the opportunity to apply these insights as I prepare for the SYO-701 examination in the near future.
Thank you so much for these questions! Passed the 701 this morning. My only suggestion or type of practice question I'd like to see is knowing what kind of attack happened by looking at logs. 5 or 6 questions were like that for me. Thank you again and God bless
@trillamex1316 1st one I had to click on servers and from the logs tell which one was clean , original or infected 2nd one gave scenario I had to pick the type of attack and prevention.
How can you tell the servers that are clean. And does his practice questions close to the exam questions? They look simple. I was using Dions practice questions and they are really difficult questions
@divonharrison2204 honestly I think o got those wrong but I had 77 questions. I'm guessing doing some research on what the logs look like. I know the dictionary version of everything but looking at different IP getting attacked with the same password really connected the dots on a spray attack. I was hoping I could get the attention of these instructors and ask for their help
Hi Andrew, I love the mindset you have in answering these questions, very very helpful. Can you please upload more SYO-701 questions? You are the best teacher in the field!!!!

Some of these same exact concepts if you learn them here are in the CISSP exam, which is ultimately going to set you up for that cert not saying you're going to know everything but just that level of thinking you get right here this gentlemen definitely explains why the answer are the answers, haha I don't know if this man works for comptia or not but yeah KEEP GRINDING OUT HERE!!!!!
Great content, I really liked how each question was explained from an exam perspective, a few more videos of practice questions would be of great help.
Thanks for this. Good practice questions are hard to come by. Solid 92%, gonna take a few more tests and shoot my shot next week, wish me luck! What’s especially useful is that you actually explain why the wrong answers are wrong. That helps so much. I only have one question: In terms of dealing with vulnerabilities in IoT devices, patching is obviously the ideal scenario. But I was under the impression that patch availability was the #1 concern with IoT devices - that being that IoT manufacturers are often not security experts and thus we can’t rely on patches being readily available. And since they use very specialized operating system, it is hard for us to patch the vulnerabilities ourselves. In that case would it not be best to decommission the device and upgrade? Maybe I’m getting this confused with legacy device management?
Thanks so much Andrew. Today I passed my Security+ 701 with 794.

@@praneeth.v880 Yes worded very similar to the video. As he mentioned, the main difference would be using abbreviations in the answers instead of the full words. Overall, most of my questions were pretty much the same.
@@ryanchang3176 thank you for the information
I just took my exam May 28th 2024 the 701 and passed 832 on site.
You had any experience??
@ZDamian407 No i.t experience I started a 8 week sec+. But week 6 is when tcreal training began.
I have 20yrs of experience in gaming industry build my own pc. But this is my first certification.
In question 50, I read two answers differently:
1) "Fire safety mechanisms should fail open" - you interpreted this as the door locks, I interpreted this to mean that the fire suppression system will dump the chemical it has into the data center, potentially killing everyone.
I watched this video right before I took my test, and I passed! Thank you so much for providing this with your explanations!
Thank you very much for this video, I am almost done studying cyber security through Coursera and will be taking my security + exam. Your videos helped me a lot prepare for the SY0-701 exam, thank you!
Andrew you are just amazing!
You don't have to ask for a like, I am sure everyone will like your great work.
Now, I am addicted to your courses and explanations.
Please add more of these videos.
Also, if you can create content regarding the following certifications that would be great!
CISM, CEH, GRC, IAM, and Vulnerability Management.
Cheers!
Listening to this at work, my car, etc
I like that i dont need to watch to understand. Thank you gentleman
Thank you! This viseo was great. You covered many topics and explained the logic, which was really helpful. I most appreciated that you were concise with each explanation. You covered 50 questions in hr whereas others spend 2-3 on 10-15. Please make more!🎉🎉🎉
I have seen a lot of help videos, but hands down, one of the best I have seen
I like how you broke the question down looking at key words and using process of elimination. This taught me a different way of taking this test or any test if I'm unsure about the question. Looking at the answers compare it to whats being asked. great job.
Multiple choice 101 is working backwards from the answers :) It's pretty easy to make sense of the question in context to the right answer a lot of the time for many subjects. There will often be 2 groups of 2 similar answers, or 2 outliers that are easy to eliminate. Good luck!
This helped me pass as well as your udemy course. Thank you!
Congratulations and celebrate well 🍺
I just purchased the Udemy course and it is amazing! I highly recommend it to anyone interested in taking this exam!! Thank you Sir!
Was his course all you need to pass?
Thank you! for connecting the dots and process of elimination & I hit like and subscribed as well. currently, preparing for getting CompTIA security +.
After failing my Security plus 701 exam this past Saturday I am determined to study harder and was recommended to your channel by other cyber folks that have passed. This was really an extremely helpful review. As Ive noticed a lot of questions on the test that I answered incorrectly. Thank you for your pour! I've also bought your Udemy course and will be going over it!
Im about to take the exam on 30th of april 2024, been studying since april 1st 2024 been cramming and i learn fast and i have a military background so i am familiar with cybersecurity awareness. Everything ive been reading and taking practice exams with sybex is good and ive chosen this video for my last 3 day period of advice and mindset. Wish me luck, this is the start of my new life.
How did it go?
@@eddyamador792 passed
I just passed my ISC2 CC exam today and I'm looking forward to write the Comptia Security+ Exam. I bought your Security+ course yesterday on Udemy but I must say this questions here are very much like that of the CC exam.
Some of these questions came up in my actual exam, thank you so much for your help- i passed 1st time
Thank you for your practice test it was really close to the real. I just passed my security+ 701 thank you for teaching me!
This was an excellent, simplified lesson that was easy to understand. Thank you so much. I am presently studying for Security+. You are a great instructor by the way.
Just started studying for the 701. I really like your presentation style and how you are working through the questions.
can't believe how informative this video is! thank you!!!
I passed this with 47/50. My exam is tomorrow and I'm so nervous! I appreciate all the question walk throughs and I purchased your 6 pack of practice exams :)
did you pass?
@@bb-de5sm I sure did!
I took your exam questions on Udemy and they helped me a lot in preparing for the exam. Today, I took my exam and passed it! Thank you again.
You’re a great teacher thanks for explaining things so clearly
Thank you so much for making this video. I really appreciate the explanations for why the other options were not correct. This video was very helpful for someone who has 0 experience in IT.
I passed the exam! Thank you Andrew and I will be buying more courses!
No Stress:)
I agree. The question seemed like it was missing some words at the end. I guessed C as well.
I watched this video right before my exam and like 4 of the questions was in the exam. Thanks so much for the great explanations.
Passed my Sec+ exam, with help of your videos and Udemy course. Thank you!
hi, did you pass the exam just using his udemy course, thanks?
Made an 80% on this practice exam after studying 2 weeks. Thanks for this practice exam. If the exam didn’t cost $400 dollars I would just go and take it but I will keep studying for 2 more weeks.
I haven’t studied for the exam b4 I got an 80 as well. What have you been using to study? And let me know if you pass!
I did Dion and professor messer videos and practice exams.
I started w/ Dion first week. Made 60-65.
I did Professor Messer videos the next 2 weeks and making 82/85 ish on practice exams.
I test later today. Will follow up with/ results

@@ichigo_val818Thank you I ended up passing w/ a 759.
Sooo? How’d u do Man
This was so very helpful. Thank you for explaining these questions and answers in a way for us to understand with examples.
Thank you for this. Just got accepted into a cybersecurity program that starts on end of July in NY so I want to get a leg up. Thank you for this
I've never watched anything like this in my life. why are you the way you are, RUclips algorithm?
46/50 correct, this is giving me confidence thank you! Going to schedule my test soon
How did it go? I assume you scheduled your test.
Thank you for making this available to us. Very informative, you teaching style suits my needs, I subscribed and purchased your Udemy Sec+ course. Very happy with it so far.
although I used a combination of study materials, i came here a week before my test and the day of my test to review. I passed last Thursday!
Thanks! Your Udemy course, has been instrumental in enhancing my understanding of the subject matter. This particular video has proven exceptionally beneficial in guiding me through the process of discerning the optimal solution when faced with multiple viable answers.
Congrats! How was the pbqs?
@trillamex1316 1st one I had to click on servers and from the logs tell which one was clean , original or infected 2nd one gave scenario I had to pick the type of attack and prevention.
How can you tell the servers that are clean. And does his practice questions close to the exam questions? They look simple. I was using Dions practice questions and they are really difficult questions
@@JamesJrxMMAand was it 77 questions or 90 questions?
@divonharrison2204 honestly I think o got those wrong but I had 77 questions. I'm guessing doing some research on what the logs look like. I know the dictionary version of everything but looking at different IP getting attacked with the same password really connected the dots on a spray attack. I was hoping I could get the attention of these instructors and ask for their help
Hi Andrew, I love the mindset you have in answering these questions, very very helpful. Can you please upload more SYO-701 questions? You are the best teacher in the field!!!!
This is a great video, as everything is explained so clearly. I'm currently studying for Security+ 701. I have used a book so far from Amazon, and also gone through Professor Messer's Security+ 701 course here. I will continue to study. Will check back for more content from this channel. Thanks!
Loved the content! Taking the exam in 8 days! This was a great video to stumble upon on my last week of studying.
love it. I hope this sec+ blew up with views.
I just liked the way he breakdown answers with simply explanations # Thank you so much
This was awesome...I really knew more concepts than I thought I did! Learned alot more!
Videos like these are what makes youtube great. Hope your channel grows and more people can recognize the work you do!
I just passed , and on the first go round , woohoo , thank you, thank you for the videos
Great content, I really liked how each question was explained from an exam perspective, a few more videos of practice questions would be of great help.
I scored a 47/50, I take my exam in a little under 2 months! Feeling prepared! Great video!
Why wait so long if your ready now
@@davidtaylor6850 honestly, good point.
@@davidtaylor6850 would like to say, you were right. I changed my exam date to be today instead of waiting 2 months and I passed this morning!

you are amazing sir. please keep going. the way you transfer info is so interactive
Scored a 40/50 here - taking the exam on the 22nd!!!! :D
good luck !!
Thanks for this. Good practice questions are hard to come by. Solid 92%, gonna take a few more tests and shoot my shot next week, wish me luck!
What’s especially useful is that you actually explain why the wrong answers are wrong. That helps so much. I only have one question:
In terms of dealing with vulnerabilities in IoT devices, patching is obviously the ideal scenario.
Love this video , thank you ! Taking my exam in the beginning of August !
I got 43 out of 50. 😅 I know I have to study some more. But I felt these practice questions were easier than the ones on Examcompass.
Thank you very much, I enjoyed your teaching method. I bought your course on Udemy, I will let you know when I pass.
