I just failed my net+ exam because I spent way too much time on the PBQs at first. I had 8 pbqs, 80 questions total. Everything you said in this video was correct.
thanks @viral I passed my N10-009 exam Today and got 90% passing marks. I took a practice test from Certifiedumps and my experience with the platform was very amazing.
Great breakdown of the Network+ exam prep. Hands-on practice with tools like Cisco Packet Tracer is invaluable. It's not just about memorizing facts; understanding how networks function in real-world scenarios is key. Being able to identify and resolve network issues is a highly sought-after ability.
Sold! already watched network chuck course for CCNA and Mike Meyers course for n10-008. Hoping this will reinforce what I currently know. Also, FINALLY SOMEONE WHO TAKES INTO ACCOUNT THE PBQS! holy crap any course I've done for CompTIA not one of them has prepared me for the PBQS. Super excited for this dude's course!
im excited for this! i love the way you teach and how real you are in the videos. your sec+ course helped me pass my exam and i want to get my network+ so i have a better understanding of networking because i found out i really want to be a network pen tester
I'm taking N10-008, in about 3 weeks, for the second time. I don't know how much difference there is in 008 and 009 but I'm definitely checking out your new course. You've just pretty much covered everything that was on my first 008 exam a few weeks ago. You are so right about the number and complexity of the labs, but Packet Tracer is definitely the way to go for simulation practice. I passed my A+ 1102 thanks to your course so I trust you. ❤ Thanks, Andrew!
I am also taking my N10-008 exam for the 2nd time in a few weeks. I used his course for my A+ core 1 exam (I failed by 20 points using Jason Dion) and passed so I definitely trust his course will be better than what I was originally using. Good luck to you! You got this!
I passed the N+ on Wednesday, the 17th, finally! I'm relieved to go back to Andrew's courses now with Security+ up next. I agree that I didn't get much out of Dion's courses, either. I thought it was just me. Good luck on your next attempt at Net+! My second time around actually seemed a little easier than the first test, if that helps.
@@storysong7929 Hey, congrats. did you take the n10-008 or n10-009 after watching his course? I failed the n10-008 a couple days ago and just found Andrews course and am probably going to take the n10-009 when I retake it after watching his course. Did you do the same? the PBQ's really killed me they were confusing and I didn't understand them at all it was like I had no knowledge of them when I watched jason dion and prof messer multiple times. Does his course go over how to do them well in detail?
I was supposed to take this exam (008 version) 4 months ago, but I put it off because I did not see a course from you. I have only passed my prior certification exams due to your courses. I feel confident in taking the exam now that I am enrolled in your Udemy course. I just passed Security 701 today, and it is all thanks to you!
I just came across this video and it’s right on time because I just started studying for my network+ however however, is the 008 version. And I better off just switching to the 009? I really liked your A+ courses They helped me a lot with obtaining my certification for A+
I finished Jason Dions N10-008 course and I'm currently in the middle of finishing up Total Seminars N10-008 course also, can I take the 009 with what I've learned or should I switch to studying for the 009 instead? I got your course ready to go also because you helped me so much with your clear explanations that I passed both exams for the A+ on the first try.
I have used both Jason Dion and Mike Myers and I feel that Jason Dion is much more thorough at breaking things down than Mike Myers. I also loved Andrew’s A+ courses. They helped me tremendously in achieving my A+.
I just paid for the course [CompTIA Network+ N10-009 Full Course - In Progress - Beta] but it says In Progress. What does this mean for me because it is over 3 weeks after the announcement of these changes to be included, Sir.
Hello! Could you please let me know if this is okay to learn if I will schedule de N10-008 exam? I purchased the exam voucher before n10-009 was released...
Hey I have a question regarding your course. I see that it is still in progress because there are some topics that are not included yet like troubleshooting. Do you recommend I watch other free courses like professor messer until it is complete?
It’s an overlap. 008 is being retired at the end of the year, but you can take 008 or 009 now. I believe nearly 70% of the material is the same though. If you can squeeze the exam in and pass before the end of the year, there are a lot more materials for 008, or if you want to take more time, go for 009. Personally, I have been studying for 009, but wish I would have gone with 008 since I’m pretty much ready to take the exam. There are pros and cons to each approach though. Short answer, they are both current, but 008 will be retired soon (they both get you the same certification that will be valid for 3 years though- no benefit to taking one over the other based on the version number, ex- 009 isn’t “better than” 008. Best of luck!
@@ryanwilliamson5647 Yeah I ended up deciding the same. I started studying for Network+ at a bad time. 008 looks soooo much easier but there's no way I can be ready to take it before it's retired. I just started Andrews 009 class on Udemy a couple weeks ago. He and professor Messer helped me understand subnetting. I'm really getting hung up on the routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, RIP. BGP, etc).
Check your library and see if it's part of the Gale program (should be somewhere under their database section). Some will offer free Udemy access. If not, the Houston Library has a paid card ($40/yr) for non-residents, which offers complete Udemy access. Essentially all of Udemy is free after that. I just found out about it, I'm pretty excited.
So im throwing another comment on this to let consumers know. This guy is okay but def watch a few other courses as well. He won't help with PBQs at all. Don't fall for that I was scammed into buying his practice tests on udemy which said they contain PBQs and did not.

I passed my N10-009 exam your tips are very accurate and important! Thank you!
Please do a lot of labs the PBQs will kill you!
This, I failed. I got 5 PBQs and 70 questions. Need to practice a lot of PBQs and CLI.
Agree I failed the first time knew the questions lost on PBQ's.
Great mindset.
Very helpful.
This is a true teacher and lecturer. Very honest and open minded.
I’m about halfway through this video but I had to pause to say thank you. Thank you.
Love the videos man! Going to take my exam within the next month and appreciate all the resources you give out. Keep doing what you do.
