Foreal dude.... I spent six years in the army and I've learned more acronyms in the first four chapters of the study guide than I ever did in the army. Lol I joke with people that half of what I study is understanding the acronym and the other half is implementing it. 😅

You completing the exam in 30 minutes is insane. I used my disability handicap (adding 30 minutes of extra time) and i still didn't complete the exam before time ran out. I fortunately took the exam today and l passed with a 764 score. Thanks for your material and inspiration. It took me longer than most people (over 6 months to study) but i am so relieved. @@charlesadetunde5288 ~ I used Certmaster Learn & Labs from Comptia. I also bought a bunch of practice exams from Amazon and Udemy. That's all i needed.
Did you take it at home or in person ?
@@carlosmaldonado7375 ~ I look it at a testing center. You shouldn't take the test at home unless you have to. They can disqualify you if you look away from the screen or if there is noise in the background if you take your test at home.

Hey is it better to take 601 over 701 because I can’t find any good books for 701 yet? Also I won’t be able to test until middle of may so I just wanted to give myself some time in case I need to retest. Thanks

The detailed explanations provided also aided my comprehension of the concepts. I highly recommend checking their practice tests if you need updated exam questions. Pratice questions are not free on the udemy website and it's only counting 500 students. Can you clarify your free campaign? I have purchased your course but i want to have access to the questions aswell...

I recently took the Security+ SY0-701 exam and came close to passing. I purchased Dion Training 701 on Udemy and there was no labs or performance based questions! No examples on how to answer performance based questions. I tried to find performance based questions for SY0-701 online but found nothing. Very frustrating.

@@planetary2180 I passed the exam last month. There arent really any practice performance based questions for the SY0-701 exams. You just have to do your best and understand the pbq based on the study material.

His teaching is the best in my opinion. The extras that are included are amazing! I wish he would also do net+

If you are enrolled in a college you should have free access to all Udemy courses.

@@fishfish3861 He says something in the beginning of the labs that they aren't really necessary because Sec+ is more about Defending than how to hack.
If you have limited time I would spend more time with the practice questions. Like the mock exam at the end of the course. For me knowing the info is different than how CompTIA structures their questions. So practicing with questions and how many you can answer in the time limit.
He also has a separate Udemy course that's just several practice exams. It's part of the 30 day schedule that's one of four downloads.
But if you have time you can watch him do the labs, to get the visuals of the different software tools that are commonly used.
Labs essentially are more of what you would be doing in a job for Sec+...
For myself I printed the Last minute cram notes. As I watched the videos I made notes especially on items that were not familiar to me yet.
Also I wrote out flash note cards for the acronyms at the end of the Last minute cram.
The Last minute cram is amazing it's about 84 pages.
